Star City Visit.

Star City Visit.
So it was my sister's birthday the other day and since she really has that something in her that doesn't allow us to kind of go further out the city, we stayed. Like, last year, we were supposed to go Baguio to celebrate her birthday and what happened was our car broke so my mom backed out and this time we were actually supposed to go to Laguna for some hot spring goodness but then again my youngest sister and I have some stuff to accomplish so we can't. Life.

So basically, my sisters and I went. Like, as always. Youngest sister not amused. LOL. Remember my cousin's pink lipstick? Well this is the red version of it.

Cousin being evil and put that demon thingy on my sister's head. Or like, peace sign? IDK.

Sisters! Love love love. As you may have noticed from the background, the park is themed Halloween so the reception kind of looked nice.

The reception might actually appear crowded but not really. Like, we hardly queued. and by that I mean, not more than 10 minutes or so of waiting for our turn to ride. Except probably STAR FLYER. But not by much.

I'm not really a fan of Peter Pan so I basically don't know who this guy is. But must take pictures. You know. Okay serious stuff now. The first stuff we actually rode was this ride right here.

I swear it is up to no good.

The thing is we usually go for the milder rides first before the main attractions so after this ride, we were all dizzy as eff. Like, seriously. I'm not sure whether it was just us or whatever but this stuff I can only ride probably once a year. Like, I can't even explain.

The ride basically goes round and round up above and stuff.

It is a relatively new ride and so people are probably just trying this one out. But I promise you! It's UP TO NO GOOD.

It's kind of scary  but it really makes you so so dizzy afterwards. We kind of regretted riding it first because we didn't have enough energy throughout our stay. But then whatever.

We noticed how people are not coming back to ride this ride again because at the end of the day, not a big deal anymore. I guess. I actually honestly think that this ride is really meant to make people dizzy. No more purpose other than that.

This is the second thing we rode. Which is our bad luck number 2. Since we were dizzy from the colorful thingy that we rode first, we can't even. Plus! They had to stop the ride at the middle so to unload a dizzy passenger. And so the ride operators decided to restart the time and so we were there for like FOREVER.

We entered all the horror houses almost twice. Oh look! Youngest sister not amused once more. Waz wrong though? And then we had dinner!

Yup! Chicken everyday. LOL.

And we had some ice cream too.

I'm actually impressed on how there are details added to the rides. Like they added Madagascar on this roller coaster and Pirates on the anchor ride. There are then two pirate rides. Sort of.

Youngest sister not amused hahaha. And this is us in front of the Pirates ride.

I don't know what happened to this picture but anyways. Me likey.  That's all! :)

The Grudge.

The Grudge.
If you haven't watched The Grudge already, then I recommend you watch it. It's kind of good. And that's if you like to be scared. So before actually going to bed now (10312012), I decided to look for a tutorial, follow it, and document. That's how I roll. Pretty much. LOL. Just kidding. I kind of failed though. I don't know how or what I turned out to be exactly. But nevertheless, I'm gonna be sharing some of the photos I took.

First of all, I don't have a foundation lighter than my skin tone and even if I had one, it wouldn't be recognized by my iPhone's front camera. I guess. So I just topped all the make up on the existing foundation that's on my skin. Actually, if I didn't have it on from my day activity, I probably wouldn't apply foundation because it probably wouldn't make any difference anyway. Just saying. I heard that the iPhone 5's front camera is kind of HD though. Mmm...

But don't hate. LOL. I don't care really. You can hate if you want. But nah.

Basically, what I did was darken my eyes by putting brown/blue eye shadows and I applied white mascara on my water line to make my eyes appear a little bit bigger. And also, kind of contoured using the same brown eye shadow. I also decided to put a nude lipstick on my lips.

Also, I messed up my hair which is not a hard thing to do at all. My hair usually looks like that on a daily basis. I mean, I don't really like to brush my hair a lot. It's damaging it more. LOL. Excuses.

I also decided to snap these photos using my iPhone's front camera so I didn't really bother much on blending my make up and all that. :D

Happy Halloween! :)

Hashi Girl.

October 30, 2012 1
Hashi Girl.
I call her that all the time. Like, true story. Here's just pictures I took this morning (10302012) during breakfast because...no particular reason though. I just felt like talking pictures.

Uneven morning eyes exhibit once again. She's teething now so she's really biting everything along the way which can be so painful sometimes. Poor people of this household. LOL.

She's so cute! I can't even.

Also! She like fighting with our older dogs now and stuff so I will hear them barking once in a while and all that. I love! I hope she become like her mother and all that bravery and stuff. I like!

She's so cute! Like, every time I call her, she would just come running around and then of course that would mean that she would bite my toe and everything.

Random Ramblings. The Living Dead.

Random Ramblings. The Living Dead.
I found this on Tumblr yesterday and I was completely amazed. Before I show you what I found, let me just ask you a question.

ARE YOU AFRAID TO DIE?

Because I don't know how would I answer that. Sometimes I feel like I'm okay with the idea of it, and sometimes I'm just so scared that I don't even want to talk about it. I'm weird like that. But hopefully painless. And satisfied with life. Well if you're a mentally fit individual, I might be wrong but I don't think you would choose to die in pain. Okay. So here's what I found.

This is actually an URN designed by Gerard Moline. It's where you put your ashes and then when you die, you can just put the seed of your choice and let it grow. How awesome is that?

And since you can choose what tree you would be, I would probably be an apple, orange, or coconut tree. Something that bears fruit. I mean, when I'm dead, every time it's harvest season, I think I would always be with them. Kind of thing.

And it's really nicer to see trees than tombstones. Like, it's a win-win situation, I think. This idea is just genius.

M.A.C Lustreglass Lipgloss. A Review.

October 27, 2012 0
M.A.C Lustreglass Lipgloss. A Review.
Howdy! You might have seen this one already before. I kind of posted it but I don't know what exactly. Some place like make up collection or make up thingy I think. I mean, where else can it be? Haha

I really used to love love love lip glosses. But now, not much. I don't know if I just think I'm too busy to do all that lip stuff or I'm just assuming to be. Or whatever.

The packaging is quite simple. It's translucent so you can see all the stuff going on inside the tube. Like, glittery stuff and all that.

I obviously would prefer colored lip gloss since I think I don't have much time (yeah right) to kind of top this on my lipstick and all that. But it's also nice to let this on this own as well so whatevs. And it's glittery so it's all good.

I love how the glitters are put together. I love how it gives you a simple pay off of color yet it seems to look kind of sophisticated. Like, "NOT YOUR SIMPLE GLOSS."

You know, I used to buy lip colored lip glosses because I like things shiny back then. I would buy blushes and powders with glitters too. But now, I guess that I am more of a matte person. Although I still like glitters on some aspects of life. K. Below are pictures of me with it on.

With a lip liner from M.A.C and a nude lipstick. And then with this particular lip gloss on. Too much stuff going on m Iy lips, eh? Haha

And excuse my eyes! I really have a tendency of having uneven eyes. MOST OF THE EFFING TIME. LOL.

What I don't like about it though is it picks up on the color of your base color. Like you can see the color on your lip gloss wand afterwards. Which is kind of off. So I therefore conclude that it's probably meant to be on its own. So I have to try.

Now without anything on. I can't really tell if I super like this product. I like how it's not sticky to the lips though. It's pretty thick but that's kind of nice because that means that it's kind of gonna stick to the lips better and it's gonna stay longer. Who wants to reapply? That's just a waste of product, yeah? We all want long lasting stuff.

Random Ramblings. Don't Judge.

Random Ramblings. Don't Judge.

So let us not be judgmental. Actually, we can be. But let us all strive to be the best judge that we can be. Weigh everything and stuff like that. Well, judgmental people actually judge right away but whatever. Totally beyond my point.

This is such a powerful picture that will probably strike most of us. Like, it's just so nice to kind of make people realize that IT'S MORE THAN THE PHYSICAL THING.

Hello Kitty.

October 25, 2012 1
Hello Kitty.
I don't know if you saw my Bellatrix Lestrange look for Halloween but if you haven't already, you can click the pink kind of thingy that says BELLATRIX LESTRANGE. Duh? Haha

And now I was a little bit inspired to create yet another look. And contrary to the popular belief, I did not go for the dark thingy again. I mean, Halloween shouldn't just be about dark stuff. It's always nice to balance things, aye?

So I decided to do kind of a girly look this time. Nothing really professional. JUST FOR FUN! LIKE ALWAYS. LOL.

I actually enjoyed going to Sanrio Puroland way back time and yeah. Watched parades, and stuff. Been there probably three or four times and yeah, I would love to go back and dress up a little bit. I'm almost sure I wore ridiculous clothes when we went there because back then, I just wear whatever my mom would prepare and all that. So yeah. Would probably revisit soon! :)

If you haven't noticed already, I actually don't have that red ribbon that Hello Kitty Sports. And for that, sorry. LOL. It\s just a complete contrary on what I did with my Bellatrix Lestrange look. I mean, with all the preparations and stuff.

iPhone pictures!

One thing you have to know about me is that I don't really know how to even out my eyeliner so I really refuse to do it MOST of the time. Like, it troubles me to make it presentable and all that so yeah. And why wouldn't I make things difficult for myself? I just explained that to defend myself. But thanks if you understand. LOL.

Sixteen and Pregnant.

October 25, 2012 0
Sixteen and Pregnant.

I actually thought of making "INTERNSHIP REPORT" a title and actually thought of making it a segment but since I wouldn't be an intern the rest of my life, aye? So yeah. I would just blog about it when I feel like I can't even already.
These are just some stuff that I couldn't get over with without actually telling.

It all started when we went to the Emergency Room to do our thing there. And by "we" I mean, a co-intern and I. We looked for a patient inside the OB-GYN section but the doctors were busy talking so naturally, we waited.

There are actually three patients inside that section of the Emergency Room and what caught our attention was that there was a man blocking the way and stuff and he was talking to two out of the three doctors present there and so yeah. Basically, they were talking about how the unborn child of one of the three patients wouldn't be able to survive and that they should find a hospital who have an incubator for his child to survive.

So anyway the doctor assigned to check for the child's heart beat then said that she (the mom) should have known because she is just 16 and kind of confirmed/asked to the patient that she already knew the risks and stuff of what's gonna happen because of her being pregnant at a very young age. And for some unknown reason, THE GIRL NODDED.  WTF? Seriously, girl? By the way, that same doctor said that the teenage girl would give birth anytime very soon and that there's no much time left for him to find a hospital with an incubator. Or else!

Seriously, doc? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? Magically produce an incubator right at your front or what?

And then the guy asked one of the doctors of the possible risks that could happen if they wouldn't be able to find an incubator and then the doctor answered DEATH OF THE CHILD. As if it was nothing. And that's not even my main concern.

My main concern is how the doctor assumed that the 16 year old knew. Seriously?  She's pregnant at a very young age and ended up in the Emergency Room because she doesn't have an idea, does she?

And then when we were about to go, the last doctor actually comforted the man by saying that he shouldn't cry YET and that they should have visited a doctor whilst the teenage girl is still okay and not when it's too late and all that stuff.

And then when we were already able to talk to the doctor, our patient was actually not in the Emergency Room anymore and so we left. The thing is the doctor who said that the child will die was actually kind of nice to us. Mmm...

So then when we were on the hallway, I said that the I find the doctors harsh and my co-intern agreed and she concluded that she's almost very sure that they're not from UST. But of course. Hopefully.

I mean, being in the profession that they are, they should be able to make someone feel better and not actually make things worse like they just did. It is indeed true though that there's only a little chance of survival when the lungs aren't mature enough but come on. Since you can't actually provide them with the incubator that they need, at least provide them with the moral support they need. Like, tell them to contact nearby hospitals or at least help them with that. And the thing is there were two more patients ready to give birth who were hearing about this child who is unlikely to live and stuff.

If they were on a private hospital and where people actually PAY for their "service", I don't think they would be able to act like the way they acted awhile ago. Certainly not. Talk about discrimination.

I actually had a similar experience in my first hospital rotation. The doctor kind of said that the patient would die and all that and after a short while, they were already filing an incident report and all that. NEAT.

It's kind of sad that the teenage girl and the guy wouldn't probably have the guts to complain because they don't have an idea and they would probably be too scared to go up against doctors. In my opinion.

To sum it all up,

I generally didn't like the way they sounded to the guy. Like, it's like giving an end to everything they hoped for. Although I am not exactly in favor of them because they obviously did the wrong thing there. SIXTEEN? Serious? It's like the borderline for me. But borderline for me isn't exactly acceptable. Whatever.

I don't know what happened to them but I hope the three of them are alright now.

So yeah. That's all I have to say.
