Maybelline BB Stick First Impressions

Hi guys! I feel like it's been quite a while since I bought something for my face so awhile ago, I did. Okay so what happened was I think it was last Monday, I saw this but they didn't have it in my shade. Okay basically, they only have two shades there so that's not very good because I feel like I'm in the middle but since they only have somehow the light and the dark, I chose the lighter shade. Lightest shade if you may. Ha! Better safe than sorreh. Actually, I have a problem with this color matching thing because I have a weird skin and for some reason, I can't find my match. Uuuyy kunwari sa skin lang. Hahaha

I believe the middle shade is called Natural and the darkest I think is called Radiance. The Natural sounds so appealing, yeah? Anyhows. Oh by the way the reason I haven't bought new face product until now is because my skin is like bishing so I'm really trying my best to give it a break but since this thing promises a lot of things, I think it might do it good somehow. Read what it says at the back below.
Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skincare, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and mineral clay that helps control shine all day.

As you can see, that's like the color difference but then again don't be ridiculous! I didn't actually blend it or anything. I wonder why I didn't though. Let's not talk about that.

It's kind of funny how there is an instruction at the back. I probably applied quite more than what I should but then again that's life.

As far as the application goes, it's quite easy to apply but since it's not like in liquid form, be cautious because it can dry up a little and it would be harder to blend. Verdict? Mmm...I don't know how I feel about it yet but then I think it does its job. Probably not for this shade but I think it can be a full coverage BB product. As you can see from the after photo, with two layer on, the pimple scars are still quite obvious and since I got the lightest shade, I don't think I could go out with another layer of that because I would probably look like a White Lady of some sort and we don't want that to happen! Also, it's gonna consume a lot of product so what I would do is that I would probably just conceal them or something. Oh I hope that the mineral clay works because you know, I'm an oily mess! Anyway, that's my first impression. I hope it somehow helped you or nah I don't think so. LOL. Have a good day, y'all!

Oh-no You Didn't

Aloha guys! How are you? Me, you ask? Well hanging by a thread. But it's better than not hanging at all, aye? I just want to share to you guys an experience which might or might not be relevant to each other but whatever! Also, can I just share that yesterday, I was searching for the perfect picture to attach right?, and I didn't know what to put so I just searched "Just Keep Swimming" from Finding Nemo on We Heart It and saved it on my phone then on my way home, the guy in front of me, an athletic cute guy from University of the East if you may, have a tattoo on his wrist/arm and then from my position, all I could see was 'ard' so I was thinking maybe it's the last letters of his name so I settled for that but then after a while he kind of rested his arm on his lap and then I probably looked so weird and creepy that time but I really tried hard to read it with its weird font and stuff and then it turned out that it's "KEEP MOVING FORWARD" so I was pleased that the picture is meant to be here. No matter what. Anyways.

Oh can I just say that I want a tattoo so bad now. But then I promised myself that I wouldn't get one until I was able to donate at least 1 gallon of blood so yeah. I must keep that promise.

Okay so my kwento is about this. Yesterday, at about lunch time, I was at McDonald's right? Then beside me was an old guy and then I didn't notice him until 2 girls from Far Eastern University came in and then he offered his seat but the girls just ignored her. How mean of them (I thought). And I'm a little bit nosey so I thought that they're together and stuff and that the girls just didn't want to be with him on the same table. So then when he dropped his pen near my place, I took it, right? Because it's effin near my place and I thought he's already old and might not be able to pick it up on his own and anyway that's just what a normal person would do, yeah? I returned his pen to him and he was sooo thankful and asked me to transfer to his table. I did. WHAT WAS I THINKING? Like, seriously. He asked me where I came from and all that but don't worry guys! I didn't tell him the truth. I should be sorry about that but I was just protecting myself, you know. Okay so told me stuff like really random stuff like he told me he used to work for Mitsubishi and some random Japanese companies and then he said something about Shinzo Abe and that he told me that The Filipinos prefer the Japanese than the Chinese (no offense) because of that Spratly Islands issue and then just because I told him, he told me he studied journalism in UST and that it is his favorite alma mater and that he also studied in UP, University of Georgia and then somewhere else. He also told me he's a lawyer and just waiting for a client that is already late he added. He whispered "annulment". So after a while he told me he would go to Quiapo Church instead and then he was like "oh that reminds me of something" he then took his envelope full of stuff and then brought out an envelope. I SAW THAT COMING. He's actually an English speaking man so I didn't doubted right away but I somehow saw that coming. He told me that it's for donation and stuff and then told him I don't have extra money. He told me it doesn't have to be that big and I was like, even though. I told him I don't carry money around because it's dangerous and stuff which he bought so whatever. LOL. So then I hurried and left the crime scene. Because cheeseburgers. How have you been, guys?

So Going Back Here

Just a little bit of kwento. I went to SM Manila right after I accompanied my friend to buy a compiled reviewer for the board exam and then I didn't want to go home right away also because I was a little bit panicky yesterday. One thing I should remember is to never ask people how far they have gone with their review. It makes me want to cry so I'm better off alone. Anyway.

Well actually, I went to SM Manila thinking I would try French Bakery's Macaroons but unfortunately, they don't sell it there or they probably run out of it or something but that macaroon tasting didn't happen so I was like roaming around and then searching for a tea/coffee/yogurt place instead and voila! Saw this little tea place beside the cinema. I was like, so going there!! I'm a lucky soul.

So luckily, I brought my notes with me and I decided to study a little bit whilst I was there. And what I like about this place is that when I take a brake or whenever I would look up just to rest my neck, I would see this art piece and then I would feel the determination rushing through my veins. Like, no joke. Maybe  all I need is an art like this and post it on my wall as well. Mmm...

I got a Blueberry Yogurt which was awesome! But like any other yogurt drink, it doesn't taste right anymore after many sips so yeah. You know like when it's too bitter already like, on the tongue? No?

This is How We Do.

This is what happened during my short short visit to my Tita's house. I don't know what I'm doing with my life. I will review soon! :)) Well I tried to scan my notes though. I also made my notes a coloring book because I was coloring it with random colors without meaning anything. Anyways. Just gonna show you what happened on the second night of my stay.

Can I just say that this drinking session is actually unexpected so I didn't bother to change my clothes and stuff. I didn't even bother fix my hair. LOL. Like, quite a lot of people came but then most of them stayed outside because uhm we have a separate table for guys outside and we girls get to stay in. We're cool like that. LOL.

Although I wouldn't recommend doing it everyday, I recommend you guys throw up a small party like this too! It's fun celebrating nothing at all. I really had fun! Good vibes, you guys! :)

Religion? Meh!

1st, I have to say that this really pissed me off yesterday. Well I have been pissed off more than yesterday but let's just forget those right now. Okay so I am in Cavite right now but yesterday, on my way here, this is what happened. We actually don't go by car whenever we go to Cavite so we have to experience the busy streets of Baclaran to go to another terminal and so yeah.

Okay so my cousin told me or asked me to go to church with her on Sunday since that's time we're returning to Manila so yeah. I then agreed because I haven't really been there and I also wanted to check the place out and somehow say my prayers and so yeah.

So we were walking, right? I never liked Baclaran because it's so crowded and not to mention, dangerous. So I would like to walk as fast I can. And then I don't know what happened but I was walking kind of slower and then someone stopped me and he introduced himself as brother something. And I already told him I won't buy but then he was like, I'm not selling you anything. I'm giving it to you for free. And I was enlightened because come on! Who doesn't like free stuff? Even though I was a little bit skeptical, I took what he gave me. And then he also stopped my cousin who's walking a little ahead of me. So then yeah. He gave the same stuff to my cousin except he punched his line differently. He said something like, I'm not selling you these stuff. I would just ask some DONATION. I was like, okay. I then gave my cousin THAT LOOK and so she got some coins out of her purse but then something else happened. This "brother" said THE DONATION SHOULD BE 50 PESOS. Uh-huh. I then said and because I'm not sure whether it would offend the "brother" I said my line in somehow a nicer way than how I would normally say it. I asked him why is he asking for a certain amount and that shouldn't' be donation in kind or like unpriced? He said YES (the audacity!) But still! So we returned everything and then it seems like someone's HARD-SELLING the products and he said something like, okay maybe you would like to have even just the bracelet and so I thought that he would just give it because we gave him (well just my cousin) DONATION but then this guy asked for 5 PESOS more. And I was like, I can't take this anymore. My cousin gave her additional 5 pesos anyway and then yeah that happened. Anyways.

I want to share you guys my latest obsession/something that will turn my fan girl mode on. Ready? PETER PAN! Weird, I know. I don't even know how it started. Like, how on Earth? I remember seeing a YouTube Recommendation and then I don't even know why it was recommended but one thing is for sure! No regrets. I'm actually particularly obsessed with Disneyland's Peter Pans. Oh but for some reason, I can't seem to understand the book. I don't know. Is that really for kids? Because I'm having a hard time understanding it. I'm actually just on the second chapter but still. Things are hard for me. I just can't. Am I doing it wrong or something? I don't even know.

So yeah. I have watched both the cartoon and the  "real life" movie and I must say that I'm glad I watched the cartoon version because I'm not sure how I feel about the real life version. It's too simple in a sense that it's kind of not my type of movie anymore. Don't get me wrong though. I like simple movies. The cartoon made more sense to me. And it's nice in my opinion. I know some people would say that they're the same but let me stop you right there. Nope. For some reason, I also watch a lot of "Peter Pan on Disneyland" and I must say that so far, Peter Pans impress me. They're so in character which I like. Believe me, I have asked my relatives that I want to go to Disneyland for the nth time now. As of who my favorite Peter Pan is, I think Huggy Peter Pan is my favorite. I don't know but he seems really likable and just in character. I also like Spieling Pan I think he is sincere and never gets tired and it seems to me that he knows what he's doing more than the others. Well I don't know. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen everyone but whatevs.

Can I just say that I have been to Disneyland number of times now but I haven't seen even just the shadow of Peter Pan. Except during the parade of course but I haven't seen him wandering around and stuff. Talking about Disney Characters, I only remember seeing Alice. It counts even if I only saw her back, right? Yup. Anyways, that's just about my fandom. I hope you don't find me weird liking him at this age but if you do, no regrets. LOL. But really! Is this normal? Am I okay? LOL.

Oh also! Peter Pan Return to Never land really hit me. I think that Jane is actually my favorite character. She's just so brave and yeah. Lovely.

Tita's Treasure Chest Haul

So this is what I got from my Tita's boxes from Japan. I actually got them at my Tita's house who by the way will be staying here in The Philippines for good. For some reason. Anyways, I just want to blog it because I know it already. At some point, I wouldn't see them anymore. Leggo!

You can never have enough iPhone cases. I like this case because it's like 3-D sort of with cystals inside the Hello Kitty which amuse me for some reason but whatever. It's at least something I can see myself using. Oh by the way! I actually used this case a couple of times now. I don't know how I feel about it but at least I was able to use it na.

Tita gave one to my cousin too! This is actually a screen cleaner for smart phones and we all know that the screen can really get nasty! So I ship this kind of product.

This got to be my favorite! Like, it's probably nice for partying and stuff and yeah. Can't wear to actually wear them soon!

That's it guys! I also got some dresses but I can't seem to take a good photo of it so Imma put it in words instead. LOL. Good vibes! Have a nice day everyone. Or night.

This Makes Me Proud.

We all know that Ramadan already started. I am a Catholic and this is somehow my point of view. I studied in a Catholic high school and I grew up studying Christian Living so I don't really know much about other religions and their stuff. Except probably when we studied it a little bit on our History. But that didn't make it justice. I also don't know anyone who is not a Christian other than dad and his friends . But that's another story since dad is not really a Filipino.

I also studied in a Catholic university so that didn't help me learning about other religion or beliefs as well. Oh well. I am not actually the type who want to study all these things but I don't know. I seem to be curious nowadays.

To my story now. Yesterday, our class started at around 8 and the lecturer told us that we wouldn't have lunch and so my school mate, prepared as ever, brought out her cheese bread and offered it to the crowd. No one got a piece. Well except me and someone from OLFU. And then my class mate whispered, "Nagsimula na nga pala ang Ramadan". She realised when the girl seated beside her who's a Muslim told her something like, we can't really eat until 6. And at that moment, I was wowed. It's just something.  Their dedication to their beliefs is just something I wished we all carried. I know there are a lot of religious Catholic people but they are just unified. You know what I mean? Anyways, good vibes. I just want to share that. This is not to compare religions because that's just not right. Good job, Muslim friends. Keep it up!

Memory Corner | Flashback Friday 5

Hi guys! This is Flashback Friday # 5 A.K.A "I LOVE MYSELF" LOL.

1. This is me with an ice cream cart. Not real of course. When my cousin and I went to Manila Ocean Park, we saw this at the second floor of the establishment and what else would we do? Take pictures of course! I love how Filipino themed the displays are. There's also a jeepney and some other stuff there. Will share that soon! Anyways, this cart is very popular in the Philippines. Like, someone would just push the cart anytime of the day and ring the bell and like inform you that there's a cart outside and stuff. Much like an ice cream truck but way too simpler. Actually, for some reason, they call it "dirty ice cream" I hope they're not dirty though. I think they're not dirty. As to why it's call dirty ice cream, I have no idea. Usual flavors are Queso, Ube, and Chocolate.

2. This. LOL. When we went to Starbucks, my cousin asked my bestie and I to make her a fan sign and I was like, I'm not your fan. Hahaha. Anyways, she wrote her name and I asked her to take a picture of me barely holding the tissue as if disgusted by her name. But I love my cousin and I would always be her fan but then again I just thought that making a fan sign is a little bit unnecessary. My bestie actually have a proper fan sign picture but yeah. Whatever.

3. This is during our Caleruega Retreat and a friend took the photo. I think I was drafting a blog while listening to music and yeah. I miss that place so much! It's just perfect. Before the board exam, I think I need a retreat or something.

4. New Year 2011. Dad never failed to make us this. It's a simple Japanese Tradition and yeah. Nice. Oh MOCHI TOO.

Attending a Debut Party

Hola guys! It's been a while, huh? I want to show you a party I have attended last week because you know, I just want to. I haven't been doing a lot of things lately or like, significant things? But anyways, yeah. Enjoy!

Can I just say that I was actually a little bothered to wear black but then again I don't have much party dresses or like, formal dresses so I was like, fine. A day before the event, cousin texted me that she's gonna wear her black dress as well so I was like, okay so be it.

I did love the table set up because they have like fancy stuff there and like, chocolates that people can eat. I actually don't think that it's meant to be eaten but we did eat ours before the program even started.

I must say! That of all the debut parties I have attended, well, I haven't been to many but anyways. I must say that this is like the most gorgeous set I have ever seen.

Just a little bit of kwento now. She's actually a childhood friend but obviously, she's 3 years behind my age but yeah we used to play whatever before. But we don't talk to each other now. I mean, we talked for a while during her birthday but that was it. That was like our first talk in a long time. So it's really something I won't forget. People grow up. I kind of missed her.

Can I just say that the food was yums! I'm actually on my pretense diet but anyways. I probably had more than what I should have in 2 days or so. No regrets.

Can I just say that I liked their Blueberry Cheesecake the most? It was awesome! :) Well, I really like blueberry cheesecake in general but I think this one is delish. I say that all the time so never mind.

I didn't like it as much as my cousin did but it was actually good. I don't know but I was actually kind of already full so I was thinking I might as well have another blueberry cheesecake. Huh.

Just like what we did when we were on Yakimix, we got one of each kind and shared. Except cousin got a mango pudding on her own and I got blueberry cheesecake on my own as well.

I only liked the coffee and the melon flavored shots. The rest are like, meh! Me no likey. They kind of taste like cough syrup. The worst kind.

When we finished eating, we went straight to the shooters place whatever and had some drinks. It's always nice to drink with old friends.

It may have been quite a while since we last talked prior to this but I'm pretty sure that she was and still is a good dancer.

I think her cake is like, gorgeous! But then again, just like many things that are colorful and pretty, it doesn't taste as good as it looks. But then again. Whatever. It still looks pretty, yeah?

You can always tell me what you think by leaving a comment! :) And may the odds be ever in your favor.
