Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle
My first time. I knew that I wouldn't be back here as soon as I want to so I went there. It was awesome. Awesome in a sense that it looks really good! Man, so much history going on there. I didn't stay long though because I went to Kobe! Post about it coming soon!

I remember back when I was younger, I saw this gold plated castle in our living room and I was like, I have to see that castle in person! So you know, I’m like living the dream, aye!

ICONIC

War

Osaka, everyone.

Being my carnivore self

Kind of tough. I mean, I've had more tender meat for less than 700 yen so I guess I was kind of disappointed? Not so much! But you know!

Reflection

So when I got home, I went to the gold plated display and I found out it wasn't the Osaka Castle. Oh well. Hahaha it was Kinkaku-Ji at Kyoto. Man, that's why it's gold plated. Coz Kinkaku-Ji is gold you know. Stups. I'm still glad I went though.

Girl, she early!

That's all!

Osaka V2.0

Osaka V2.0

Fail

Aori Ramen

Boss told me this would be a delicious place to eat ramen but it was just okay. Ichiran level actually.

the crew

It's awesome how you can have a boss around your age. I mean, I don't necessarily hate working with older people but you know, the vibe's definitely different when you're with people who see things somehow closer to how you do. Best of both worlds?

Dotonbori

When we arrived, we only had around an hour to spend before work so you know, we did the touristy stuff like walking around Dotonbori and taking pictures and stuff.

At night though, the big boss arrived and he treated us to Yakiniku!!! It was delish!

delish

No joke! Delicious yakiniku!

Seshika

Homegirl is dragging me with her to Australia. I'm not completely against it by the way. Who knows, right? Brave!

Big boss spent 20,000 plus yen for this specific Big Bang machine but sadly didn't get the prize so whatever. He was asking me to try but you know! Waste of money, if you ask me. Basically the staff kept adding and adding and adding an item to the prize and so yeah.

So you know, as per usual, I didn't have much time so I didn't really go very far from the office and for some reason, it's okay. Hell it would be a lot better if I'd be able to go to USJ already but it's all good! So after that drunk night, I surprisingly woke up at around 4, showered, and I thought I'd go for a walk because unlike my first work trip, I have to work on the second day as well so I don't really have much time unless I make some.

I therefore conclude that Osaka is a lot better without anyone. I mean, it's calm, quiet, and all that.

yas

So you know, I decided to walk, right? There were two different guys who went to me and they were iniviting me to their IZAKAYA whatever and you know I just told them I'm already drunk. One of them let me go quickly but one was pushy. Oh well. He was cute but goodness gracious.

So then I figured that they don't operate the Don Qui stuff but they're asking people out so what's causing the delay?

no joke matcha

After our second day of work, Seshi and I roamed around a bit and ate a lot!

yas!

Dragged Seshi to my favorite Takoyaki place.

why of course

 That's all!

24H in Osaka

24H in Osaka

When duty calls. I was sent by my company in Tokyo to Osaka because! I'm actually so thrilled by this because it's an all paid trip and stuff and also, I've been meaning to go to Osaka! Not for work though! For the Wizarding World of Harry Potter but
this will do! I mean, next time probably.

Glico

Clown

I don't actually know the exact relevance but I get the idea somehow. I won't say so you wouldn't have anything to say against me. Huh!

Kani

Too bad we weren't able to eat crab because when we were finish working, all the crab shops are already closed. Bummer! It's probably that famous that shops ran out of it quick. Next time!

I may have missed the rest but I wouldn't miss Takoyaki! I had too much of it too be honest. But! I'm not complaining! It's not my favorite food for nothing. And I was told that Takoyaki in Osaka is different and man it is. It was delicious!

Dotonbori at Night

Because we couldn't have crab, we ended up to a place where they serve fried stuff and it was sooo good! Apparently, it's a popular place for foreigners in Osaka.

After work and a little bit of sight-seeing  , we headed to the hotel and went to our rooms to rest because man I was from my night shift and went straight to Shinagawa for the Shinkansen transfer in the morning and I guess the only sleep I got was in between Nagoya and Kyoto.

Come morning, I had a little more time to spare and so I walked around the area from end to end. But of course it rained. Welcome to my life. It added drama to my stroll to be honest. You know, I was walking and just counting blessings.

The office is actually in Shinbashi, Osaka so I only had a chance to explore around the area but I might go further soon! I don't know. Ehem Universal Studios Japan.

This is where I walked being emo and shizz.

They do have this place that feels very much like Harajuku and so you know, we all know I can just skip this place.

Hotate! The only thing I regret is that I only ate one! I should have eaten 3 or 4 or 5! Sooo good!

Takoyaki with  baby octopus! Yas! Not octopus bits but baby octopus! Are these baby octopus? Am I asking a dumb question? Do you have anything against me now? LOL! Come at me!

I can eat this forever!

Belgian Chocolate Gelato

Wrapping my Osaka food trip is something from Kobe. And yes, they're raw beef! And yes, they are good! Fatty and good! Anyways, I am going back for another trip in the next 2 months or less so expect something like this from me again! See yah!
