Disney Sea | Before Lockdown

Disney Sea | Before Lockdown
So...as you know, when I go to trips, I can’t not visit Theme Parks! This should have been my full time job! PS: Not even my part time job but maybe someday!

iPhone X

When we bought ticket, we were already discouraged by the lady at the counter because she said that the park was crowded. Oh well. My mom said we should have left the house at like 5am or something. We left around 7 I guess? And arrived around 10.  We were only able to avail 3 fast pass attractions I guess and we weren't able to use 1 because we were 5 minutes late for it. I love Japan.

Me and my girl Shella

Can we just take a moment and appreciate mom's red outfit? Just sayin'

Tower of Terror

My sister Shella went with us because my mom can’t really ride rides so she was a little bit worried I won’t enjoy as much. But! I’m so glad my mom came because it’s her first time, right? My philosophy in life is you have to do everything at least once. Obviously not everything but you know what I mean.

I think this is just the second time Shella and mama met and it's an easy day to be honest. No awkward moments, no bad vibes whatever so it was awesome. I mean, it's not like we're at the same age, I know. But still! If you don't click, you don't. You just don't. AND WE CLICK!

I'm no way a photographer, right? But with a DSLR camera, photos turn out to be a lot nicer, don't you agree?

DISNEY SEA is just nice

WHERE DREAMS DO COME TRUE INDEED

My mom ate turkey. She didn't eat last time because she said she didn't like it or something but when she ate this, she finished eating in like less than 5 minutes. Amazing. It was a lovely experience hanging out with my mother and also to have spent my day with my long time sis.

We were able to ride quite a lot in my opinion. Indiana Jones, Railways, 20,000 Leagues, Ship thing, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Tower of Terror. We were also able to watch the show. Nice! Also watched the night parade. That’s like ticking three things we missed last time.

My mom didn't ride as much and she didn't really enjoy the night parade as much too lol but yeah I think she was able to have a full grasp of the park and yeah that's the purpose of the trip for her I guess. I had fun though! I mean, I can't wait to be back here with the OG DISNEY babies and just have a different perspective than the last few times. No regrets! I would have loved for mom to ride the Venetian Gondola though and for Shella to ride the Toy Story ride but maybe that's for next time! Yay! Or you know, Fuji Q is always nice. WHO knows maybe there will be 4 of us there next time! Or 5. Hi mom!

Okay so Japan didn’t undergo lockdown of some sort but these mindful companies did close for the sake of many. Hello, Philippines. Anyaresayo? Anyways. That’s what happened. I’m sooo sooo glad I was able to go to DisneySea again! It’s been a wild while! Hope you enjoyed!

Disney Sea 2018 Baby

Disney Sea 2018 Baby

I know this is like the inexcusably late but then again, late is acceptable here. We do late here. I want to share with y’all my 2018 Disney experience. Leggo!

We went on a pretty bad weather because I didn’t have any other day available and I don’t really want to risk missing this one so off we went.

sisters!

marching band

I miss having brassy hair lol

Disney Sea being awesome

It will always be a pleasure to go back. I don’t think I would be going back for a while though. My sister said we should wait at least 5 years to return so that we would miss it. Okay, then.

Easter

First Parade

I have no idea what this is but took a picture anyways.

Mikie the Explorer. Can I just say?? When I was a lot younger, people would tease me Dora because of my hair. But I realize that I like it. Come on, like, can you do half the things Dora does? Nope. STFU.

I feel like taking picture in this area became mandatory. Oh well. It’s cute kaya! Dangerous though. Smells like gas in here.

Disney

Seeing Disney on a gloomy has its charms

Little Mermaid

What beauty

With Disney Sea’s European vibes again.

Our long lost mermaid sister. To be honest, we’re killing the terno theme we have going on.

This. Cute.

Tower of Terror though! Closed. This is like my favorite ride and I just came to know that this, and Journey to the Center of the Earth are closed the time we visited. How rude.

Under the Sea

It was our first time to try the Toy Story Mania attraction and goodness gracious! It was soooooo fun! We rode it 3 times. Competitiveness runs in the blood fo sure! My sister Mika is unstoppable. She was cussing 99% of the time.

Also, this might be my favorite view there ever. To be honest, the only reason I may want to visit Italy. Also the ruins but whatevs. Ciao!

Tokyo Disneyland VS Tokyo Disneysea

July 27, 2017 0
Tokyo Disneyland VS Tokyo Disneysea
Tough question, huh? Well that shouldn't be a problem for everyone else out of Japan but since we have to face that problem here, I'm here to somehow help you out. Or not. You know the drill.

So...which is really better among the two? Let's find out!

THE CASTLE

Disneysea

One thing that might be disappointing about Disneysea is that there is no castle. No Cinderella nor Sleeping Beauty's castle but they have Ariel's. It's still nice though! Probably one thing that makes it different from the rest of the Disneys.

Disneyland

Yas! Tokyo Disneyland has Cinderella's Castle. Me likey.

THE VIBE

Disneysea

I don't think I would ever be old for Disneyland per se but just in case you ever feel that way, Disneysea  is a great place to visit for those who feel like they're too old for Disney because man, it's nothing like Disneyland. Yup. It's that European/Carribean vibe that makes it very suitable for the not-so-kid at heart. It's so nice!

Disneyland

It's the vibe of the real Disneyland that makes me want to visit here. Or so I think. I mean, it's kind of old and it's not a lot but it reminds me so much of childhood and I think that's good enough!

* Although when I visited both parks with my sisters last May, I particularly noticed that the staffs over at Disneysea were much friendlier than that of Disneyland. And by friendlier I mean waving and smiling non-stop at us. Up your game, Disneyland.

THE RIDES

Disneysea

They nailed it! They have so many great rides that it aches my heart to even compare. When I visited with my sisters, we managed to ride 21/28 rides and they were all very nice.

Disneyland

Mostly for kids. I might be a little biased though because we weren't able to ride the rides for the big guys but still, there are only 3 of them and 1 is closed (how dare they) during the time we visit so naturally, adults would go to the other 2 rides instead and the queue is unbelievably long! We managed to tick 11/40 attractions out of the list if you're wondering.

THE FOOD

I don't really know if there's a major difference between the two parks except for the BEER that they serve at Disneysea. Both parks serve popcorns, turkey leg, churros, etc.

THE PARADE

Disneysea

They do it at the lake they have there and if you want to watch it, you have to go there of course. It was magical! It's like a semi-fountain show too so you know. I think it's the only show they have though.

Disneyland

Why, of course. I could actually just skip this trip because I've been here so many times already but there's nothing like a Disneyland parade! Soooo magical. My sister Mika cried even! I remember crying to this too when I was with mama! Anyways, we watched 3 parades that day and it was everything!

If you ask me which I would choose over the two, I can't really choose just one! I mean, come on! But if I really have to make myself useful here, I'd say DISNEYSEA. I think there's a lot more to do and experience in Disneysea. The rides are more enjoyable and the view is hella fantastic! But I wouldn't end this post without saying you shouldn't miss Disneyland's parades as well. The Electrical Parade is everything! Anyways, I just think you should at least visit both parks and then you can decide for yourself after! :)
