Why I got an iPhone X

Why I got an iPhone X

I have no idea. I’m actually pretty okay with it. I mean, it’s definitely something you have to get to used to but I don’t really have any bad blood with it whatsoever. I wish they created a plus version though. That would have been really nice.

Snap from the YouTube video that I uploaded. Not actually an unboxing but meh it was there lol. I’m not really sure why I got a new one when I definitely promised myself not to get anything new for a while. Oh well. The camera is good though! Or is it just me? Also, it’s an iPhone like no other so...I like the idea of it.

That’s all! I hope Face Recognition works better than it does RN to be honest but all in all, it’s an okay phone. I miss Touch ID though! I mean, it’s troublesome to actually put the phone in front of your face to unlock but whatever. Ciao! Did you get the iPhone X? What do you think of it?

First Snow of 2018

 First Snow of 2018

Better late than not at all. This happened January, 22, 2018 and ot snowed a couple of more times since then but hey! I guess it snowed more this year than last year. I’m not a fan of snow but hey, it’s pretty to take pictures with so there’s that. Unlucky me though, it poured whilst I was outside and working. Wrong timing.

Harajuku

Harajuku Station

Snow!

I decided to go to Shibuya afterwards because I didn’t really have any other places to go to.

I went to Shibuhide (my fave ramen place) because it was so darn cold and I could use some ramen. For some reason, I only like the Shibuhide Ramen though. For some reason, I don’t like their other ramens all that much.

Sagamihara

I decided to walk around and take pictures around 11pm because my phone camera died when I reached Sagamihara so yeah.

The men/women who made this pathway should have an award.

Shibuya Illumination 2017

Shibuya Illumination 2017

As usual, I didn't expect much from Shibuya because of what I witnessed last year. I don't know if I shared with you the photo but it was this sad green lights put on the tree same as above so yeah. This year showed a little improvement so let's give Shibuya that.

This year's team is HELLO KITTY. Okay first of all, I have absolutely no idea why the tourist information bus' character is Kitty because you know, Sanrio isn't anywhere near and stuff. ALSO! Why can't they just use Hachiko's face? It's SHIBUYA after all. Okay.

But you know, who am I to tell Shibuya what to do, aye? Anyways this Hello Kitty thing. I can't. You all know how I love Shibuya and its wonders but Shibuya is not ready for it yet.

Maybe because Shibuya doesn't have a lot of places to do this kind of displays but yeah. I'm not saying that this is not good. It's good! I just hope there's more of this. I think. The ribbon is cute! I think big ribbon ornaments like this would enlighten everyone of the theme they're doing.

SHIBUYA

This is what I'm talking about. Shibuya is big but it's soo not united when it comes to illumination so it somehow feels divided. If they want to do Kitty, then everywhere should be Kitty. But anyways. I'm sure it was already discussed upon and maybe something not everyone agreed on so yeah let's just pretend that's what happened.

Also, the right side. Somebody didn't get the notice, obviously. WHY THOUGH. Anyways, I still love SHIBUYA.

Shibuya Mornings

Shibuya Mornings

So my friend for 21 years visited Japan from Australia and she wanted to meet up so hell yeah! Our mothers are chismis mates way back Ericka and I were younger so...basically sisters.

Anyways, the train was hella late! We were supposed to meet at 9 but then I missed the train prior so I messaged her I’ll be 10 mins. late and then the train thing happened. Always! Anyways!

Shibuya

We didn’t go to many places. We just went to Omotesando, Harajuku, and back to Shibuya. Actually it was their last day in Japan when we met and as much as we want to, we couldn’t cram everything in because your girl has to go to work at night.

Harajuku

We were able to catch up though! I haven't seen this girl for almost 9 years and way back high school, we weren't really inside of each other's circle anymore but you know, I know that whatever happens, we still got each other's back and that I could always run to her and stuff. VOILA! Our meet-up didn't feel awkward or anything. IT WAS AWESOME.

Takeshita Street

Yas! Well of course we gotta have this picture with Hachiko! I think I took this type of photo with most of my friends who visited Japan.

Shibuya :)

Lunch time! We were so hungry that we just went to the first place that serves rice!! The Filipino in us tho!

My pasalubong from Australia! :) Thank you, sis!

Shibuya Nights

Shibuya Nights

I swear I didn’t look like this before the filter. Your girl was haggard as hell! I work in this street so I thought I’d venture a little bit.

It rained unexpectedly and you know, it sucks because I didn’t bring my umbrella. But oh wells.

Yas!!!! I feel like I outgrew the stuff that they sell here but I like the aura of the store. Very youthful very nice.

I like this! Sooo Burlesque!

One thing I don’t do a lot when I’m at Harajuku is to go to hidden places. I would definitely go to more hidden places in the future! So anyways, I found this sad looking tree with a snowman deco. But I mean, it’s still very nice! The shop that has this

is kind of vinatge-y so it’s matchy matchy.

Shibuya! Ramble Crossing.

On my way home, I went to one of my favorite ramen shop, Ramen Sakura! I was actually hesitant to go because it was raining and out of the way but I went anyways. In life, sometimes you really have to take a detour. Ciao!

Harajuku Line Shop

Marion's Crepe

This is so fail! I was telling my sisters that we're gonna go to a certain crepe shop because it's the oldest shop there and when I faced the other way, I saw this. Fail. But it's not like I just guessed or something, my co-worker actually mentioned it so yeah.

This is actually my favorite part of Harajuku. The ratchet Harajuku.

Calbee fries. I soooo recommend! If you ever go to Harajuku or like any Calbee shop, get some fries like this. It's sooo good.

Tokyu Plaza

My favorite place in Shinjuku. I'm so glad to be back. This is like Narnia's to me. Can find anything you don't probably need but want to buy anyways.

Like this template of crystals.

Tower Selfie

Why there are so many LINE shops in Japan, I would never know. But anyways, this one we took in Shinjuku Terrace City.

Famous Cat in Shibuya

We all know how I feel about Ichiran's Ramen but since my sisters like it there, I have no choice but to comply.

The only item in the menu that I really liked.

Shibuya. Always my favorite city. But for some personal reasons, I'm kinda having second thoughts about the city already. Kinda. Anyways, I'm not making any sense as always but who cares, right?
