Grand Duty!

Here it is! This is like, a preview on what happened awhile ago. I did block off the day but I wasn't sure whether or not to go until this morning. I was actually waiting for my friend's decision because I said that if she go, I go. I don't know but for some reason, I speak The Script at random moments. Anyways. She didn't go but I did.

With a friend and the friend I was talking about. The plan (evil) was actually to take sooooo many pictures to annoy and envy this friend of ours who weren't able to come because she said not to take too much pictures. Hahaha

We saw the effort of the organizers and all that so we helped with the stuff we will be using for the games.

Them doing the ever classic Calamansi Relay. By the way let me just say that I have a love and hate relationship with this iPhone camera feature called HDR. I don't know what it is but basically it kind of lightens the picture so basing from what's actually happening when it's on, it's probably that.

And food! And Madame President on the other side.

I know not all people want to see food photos. I actually sometimes don't want to see people taking pictures of it as well but let's just have it our own way and be happy :) What's that again? Haha

A picture with a friend who we left behind there. I actually planned to take pictures with everyone but some of them left ahead so I wasn't able to but yeah. I'll probably show you guys more photos if I see them up somewhere. Haha

I watched Xiaxue's Guide to Life's episode on such. Making coffee art and stuff and I don't think it's any easy so I really salute the person/s behind this. Good job! It's too pretty to drink though. Photo not mine by the way. I probably saw this either on Tumblr or Pinterest I can't remember. :))

This is a late post but whatever. Since I can still remember it, it's going here. :)) I was supposed to be off this day but I had to make-up for an absence so yeah. I, together with two more interns were actually the blood extractor in the main laboratory so we were like going up and down (repeat 10 times). We were so tired and we didn't even get to prepare for the picture taking and then we were like, we should just be together and people would identify that we are the extractors because we all look haggard.

I don't know how this works but I can barely recognize some people because you know, the thing is darn tiny. We're like AKB48 for a second. If you don't know what that is, that's actually a Japanese girl group with like, 88 members.

Also this. I'm gonna miss Internship. Actually, I kind of miss it already. People say that we only get to appreciate something when it's done. I attest to that. Somehow.

I present to you my group mates! I'm gonna miss them because you know, I was with this group during night duties and all that stuff so yeah.

We're actually not complete in this picture but I would not miss the other two any less.

I don't even remember someone taking this picture. But it exists. So whatever. Haha that's all I'm gonna share. I'll be going to the Grand Duty later so let's see what I can share from there. :) Good vibes!

Manila Ocean Park. A Look Back.

I don't know when exactly but I remember going here not so long before it was opened. And it's not a good idea at all. I didn't appreciate anything during that time because there were so many people crowding and you can't really stop and look at things because you know, the people behind were complaining and all that. I don't know but I really didn't see its beauty before.

Little sisters! Lurve. LOL. Look at Mika with the travel guide thingy. Hahaha

I actually like visiting places like this. I mean, it's good to kind of have time to appreciate nature. See, even my sister was interested. I guess there should be a lot of place like this. It's a good way to preserve what is left of us. It's a good place to learn stuff.

When we went there, I think the only place conducive for photos was this place. Not even too conducive since people are kind of still everywhere.

But thanks to this that my sisters and I were able to relax after that exhausting walk. Say hello to my pink nails! Hahaha. Whut? This was what I enjoyed most about this trip. I will actually revisit the place and kind of rediscover what I already did before and kind of experience the new things they have to offer. :) Peace!

Teresita's. Food Trip.

My mom told me I was on Duty when they first tried eating here. And she also said that the owner of this restaurant is related to the owner of Razon's, a place where we eat often. We even tried their branch in Gua Gua. Anyways.

Mom is love! I don't know what happened to her hair nor what she's doing but she's so awesome! :) Haha

My sisters are love! :)

Poor little sister. Her order actually came in last.

My mom actually recommended this and it was good but not for the health. I mean, it's alright to try once in a while but you know, I wish I could check our lipid profile or something.

And then her food arrived! Happy kid is happy.

Overall, I did enjoy my food. It's a lot like Razon's though so I wonder why my mom decided to eat there. I just don't know if Razon's serves Chicharon Bulaklak. Maybe not. Oh well. It was a fun night. I am happy. :)

The U.P. Experience.

Good news guys! Thesis done! :)) Happy kid! Okay so I promise myself not to blog about this until we've submitted all our requirements so I'm free to do so now.

We held our thesis experiment proper at the University of the Philippines, Manila mainly because University of Santo Tomas doesn't rear mosquitoes that we can use for the experiment. Our Thesis Adviser recommended us there and so yeah.

We made use of the Parasitology laboratory which is like, cool. It's not the usual air-conditioned UST type of laboratory and it's like very vintage looking so I like it. After our Thesis Oral Defense, le friend and I were talking about how we encompassed everything and we were talking about how we liked the U.P. experience and stuff and we were also thankful on how nice our U.P. mentors were during our stay there.

Just to refresh you a little bit, under this category, I actually post Tumblr pictures that I like but don't feel like posting on my Tumblr page. IDK. Sometimes, I post anything under the sun but sometimes, I just like stuff but don't post it at all so I'm thankful that I kind of found a gateway for that. Thanks, Blogger! :)

I used to want to live in a castle like Disney's but now, it's just something nice to look at and appreciate. Oh I know! Instead of living in a place like this, I hope one of my friends would have a house like this so I could visit. :) Good luck, friends.

Maybe. I mean, we can't take off disappointments off people though. People do have different perspectives and ways on how to deal with things but yeah, sometimes it's not the ending that matters. Sometimes, you just have to enjoy the whole journey and learn from it.

I guess it was my on V-day when a co-intern brought a box of chocolates like this and shared it to everyone. I'm actually not a fan of chocolate boxes but it's so pretty so I liked this picture anyways.

This is so awesome. Like, the whole idea of it. Don't you think? And also! I agree what it says. And yeah I'm actually considering getting a white tattoo but you know, still thinking about it.

Morning.

Good morning world!! :)

I saw this picture on Facebook and actually saved it on my phone. And then after awhile, I saw it on Instagram and yeah, I was like, wow. If all the people would be like that, then I guess we won't be having a problem and be successful and all that.

Can you see how close the guy is in getting all those diamonds? If he didn't give up, he's probably enjoying by now.

There's really a thin line between success and giving up. I just want to relate that to our thesis which is like, almost there na! I mean, we only need a few more signatures and we're done like that. No more. It's been quite a while since we suffered from that thesis stuff so I guess we were just too patient and didn't give up so we were able to achieve what we achieved and that we finished it with pride! Hahaha you know, not bragging or anything but our thesis is actually quite hard to accomplish. It's not like we can do it whatever time we want. We had to make adjustments.

Yeah just a reminder that we should all be patient and we'll get there! Wherever it is. :)

Army Navy. UST.

Army Navy in UST is kind of new so it's always jump packed and all that but since we were so happy and we were really in the mood to celebrate the success of our Thesis Oral Defense, we didn't mind waiting. The thing is we were actually supposed to take-out the food and eat inside the uni but I guess we were lucky to be able to find a place inside so we stayed.

That guy in a plaid shirt is my friend as well :)) Just saying.

Thesis group mates minus 1. Oh well.

I had Burger there but actually, I was thinking of getting Chicken Burrito but since I already had Chicken Sandwich at Pancake House earlier, so I kind of changed up my mind.
