Hachioji, Selfie, and Summer.

May 05, 2014 0
Hachioji, Selfie, and Summer.

A selfie I took yesterday. I don't really have an explanation for this picture so I suggest we move on. LOL.

We went to Hachioji to meet someone and as much as I thought of sharing the beautiful city with you, I wasn't able to take pictures because it's kinda like mini Shibuya where everything is fast paced so yeah. I will take pictures next time!

Demi buying medals to play with. We weren't very lucky and I think she spent 2500 yen at least so sorry! The guy beside us though! He won the jackpot and then won so many medals that Demi was like, give us some! LOL. This girl is for real! Hahaha but she didn't let the guy hear of course.

It's really getting hot in Japan. Like it started to get hot and then it started to get cold again. Make up your mind, Japan.

I went to a 100 Yen shop and bought some interesting things and will share it so please wait for that :) Sooooon!! This is so near our place that I can't even. Although I probably don't need everything from it so yeah. たまに!

There are still beautiful flowers everywhere so that's nice! Even though how extreme the weather is, when I see flowers, everything seems better. That's it! See yah!

Japan is a little bit Dangerous

April 18, 2014 0
Japan is a little bit Dangerous

Surprised? Yeah me too. After 18 days of living alone, I have known many things that I did not want to know but thankfully, I have. Because the knowledge might save me.

As much as I love Japan and it's beauty. Well the people too. Sometimes. Just like any other place, it can be dangerous.

Suicide is one thing very common here. I don't know. And it's crazy how people can kill their own relative just for health insurance and stuff. Also, usually, widowed woman, who is dating another man would kill their own child to be free and have more time for the man. Crazy crazy crazy.

I don't know why it is easy for them to kill people. Very minimal but it happens. The situation is usually like this. A guy holding a knife would just attack anyone and kill it. I'm pretty sure that the guy is out of his mind but you know, that's what they're showing on the news and it scares the heck out of me. I guess there's a reported case in my area. If you remember the preschool I was talking about, there! And it's effing near my place. I used to have no problem walking or cycling that lane but when I knew, I'm like a ninja and would just speed up! And look at my back as if someone's after me. Kahit wala naman. Life.

Also, on a more personal note, people I know would get followed by people on a bike. You know, rapists. I guess since quite a lot of old guys are single, they would just attack girls. Creepy!! I was told that my friend and her mom were on a bike together, right? They were on different lanes and maybe the guy didn't know they were together and the target was actually Demi and the mom kind of noticed it and spoke to her in Filipino and basically what she said is to stop by the convenience store and not their home and yeah the culprit disappeared. The mom also experienced the same thing and she stopped by somewhere and yeah.

On other note, I don't know whether it is legal to abort a child here but for some reason, I didn't imagine this place to have so many cases of that. Anyways, that's my update! See yah!

Random Thoughts with Pictures

Random Thoughts with Pictures

Selfie! Never mind. I think I should take more selfies! Not for sharing though just for keep.

My everyday like (almost)(so far) is consist of me going to my bestfriend's place and stealing wi-fi signal from the neighbor still. Also, eating unhealthy snacks all the time. I don't smoke! Nor did I drink.

Random food photo. This was made together with a home made pizza that Demi made that we devoured too early for me to be able to take a picture so I'm leaving you with the Tamagoyaki.

Also, I have been so pleased with Japan's way to prevent Trichomonas. I mean, it's so convenient compared to squatting or bringing out your own alcohol spray and stuff! So yeah. Lovely~

After a long time, I was able to enter a Pachinko center to fetch someone. It was so loud inside that I think I had a headache when we went out. I don't think I would ever engage in this game but I do understand those who do. So go! See yah!!

Despedida Party by the Bay

Despedida Party by the Bay
Hi guys! I just want to share what happened yesterday because it is so memorable in its own way that I can't not share it. Yesterday, I sort of celebrated my departure and yeah.

beautiful sunny day
my loves
We went to Mall of Asia because hey, it's my last chance to watch the sun set up close and by now, I'm sure we've already established my love for sunset and so yeah perfect!! But first, we went to church to say our little prayers. I prayed for my and my family's safety.

mahangin

We strolled and we were thinking whether or not to ride the Dream Twister and indeed we decided to ride the monster!

Okay so the story is that the three of us were supposed to ride the thing because for the record! It was my bestfriend who asked us all to ride this but she backed out last minute! It was so frustrating but I was like, if not now, when? HA!

nervous

I do not recommend this if you're scared or even not scared of rides. I mean, I actually don't have a problem with rides and man this ride is a killer! But if you're up for it, I guess just go for it. The highlight of the ride was definitely the priceless view of the sunset. Like, it was magical! Even though I felt like I was gonna fall and die, I think the sunset made the ride worth my 100 pesos.

Then we dined in. As recommended by my best friend, we went to a place where we haven't been before.

forever friends

The last thing we did was we went to Timezone (this crazy thing happened) and called it a night. It was such a wonderful feeling to be with friends. I wouldn't know what to do if I had to face it alone. Thank you friends! Until we see each other again.

So Much Life Happening Right Now

March 23, 2014 1
So Much Life Happening Right Now

Or actually, I can. These are just bits of what sort of happened this month. Stories in general.

You know, I work very nearby and I went to a nearby high school too and so the chance of me meeting people from school is just soaring high. Anyways that's not it.

Recently, I bumped into a high school friend of mine and she was pregnant. She asked me things I didn't know such as the price of the ultrasound thingy. And then they left the place having been told by the receptionist that the doctor's not gonna come in the clinic that day.

Few days later, she came back. And then after she went thru ultrasound and stuff like that, she went outside the laboratory's door, called me, and said "IT'S A BOY!" I mean, how awesome was that? She's friend but she's not really like a super friend of mine. I was so happy for her. Like, I can't even explain my happiness for her. I don't know her story and all that but yeah.

A friend broke up with her boyfriend. More like, he broke up with her. Douche. Well that's not important now. I got a text from her and she was apologizing for the times she weren't able to come with us because her boyfriend didn't allow her to and stuff like that and she felt she betrayed us but I don't really see it that way. No need to feel guilty. I guess that's really how it is with friends and boyfriends.

Not so long ago, I played catch up with my friends that I met during my internship and it was awesome!! Me loves them! I mean, if you would put us together, we would just talk and talk and laugh.

Five days to go before I resign off of work. I feel so sad kind of. It's like I don't want things to end but I'm kind of excited as well.

I will be going to Japan in over a week to go and voila, starting life there I suppose. Anyways that's all I got for this update guys. Thanks! Also, I am very sick right now.

Sky is the Limit? | Sky Ranch

March 16, 2014 1
Sky is the Limit? | Sky Ranch
Hola guys! As promised, I want to show you what I have been up to sort of. I finally went to Tagaytay's Sky Ranch with fam! I have always wanted to see what's up and yeah even though it was a relatively short visit, we were able to do it anyways. Oh well. I have a fail still because I wasn't able to see the lights and all that stuff. Next time.

BALINSASAYAW

Okay but first we went to a cool restaurant that like have this cool gazebos and pretty cool ambiance and yeah it was quite a nice place to eat in general. Can't wait to be back! Oh can I just say that it was so hot I can't even. Like, Tagaytay is actually supposed to be chilly since it's a highland or something but it was damn hot! Oh wells. Good thing they have few stalls that sell drinks.

GRUMPY CAT
OMG I have something to tell you! So we all got a drink, right? I got Melon and cousin got Strawberry and man, her drink was soooooo bad! She let me taste it and I told her to return it! But I think she had a hard time deciding whether she likes it or not so she consumed quite enough so yeah she didn't return the drink but yeah it was bad!

the blue guy
There were actually quite a lot of painted guys like this and yeah this one actually posed readily with a little boy which I find very nice.

DRINKIN'
SUPER VIKING

So yeah it is a very small place to hang out. Like, I won't even last a long time there without getting bored. Well since we went in the afternoon, that might be a factor since it was so freaking hot and stuff so it might be different during the night time when it's chilly in there. Plus! The colors of the Sky Eye ride I heard is gorgeous.

We only rode two rides and that includes the Sky Eye and their Super Viking. Can I just say that the rides are relatively expensive because you know! I just think it's expensive.

Can I just say that the view at the top is amazing that it kinda makes the ride worth its price. Well yeah. Let's just all think positive here. But really! The view is breathtaking. Just an info, the maximum people that can ride I think is 4 but the 6 of us managed to get in so yeah! And we're not exactly skinny people!

As a finale, my two sisters, cousin and uncle rode horses. Which I think is kind of expensive too but yeah I'm glad that my sisters had fun.

LOVELY SISTERS
off they go

On our way out, we saw this horse noming on this branch. I had fun though! :) So that's it guys. See yah! I can't wait to be back here. Hopefully when the sun is not that up or when the Sky Eye's lights are already on so yeah! I also must try the Zip Line thing they got going on and yeah

Ever Bilena Advance Whitening BB Cream

March 10, 2014 2
Ever Bilena Advance Whitening BB Cream
Hi guys! I believe I have told you about my search for a BB cream. Or did I? Well anyways. I have yet to consume another one from another brand. And this is probably the most affordable of the bunch.

I might actually have bought a shade darker than my shade because you know, I just grabbed it and didn't notice that there is actually a difference between the boxes there. Silly me. I don't know but recently, my face have actually gotten darker because of acne treatment that is making it burn for some reason. Not really burn as in burn but yeah it's making it kind of red so I think this might work.

So this is from a brand called Ever Bilena which I haven't used any other products from but a brand that I am very familiar of. It's basically kind of everywhere here in the Philippines. Mostly supermarkets and drugstores. So yeah.

Swatches! I simply must do them every effing time. No reason. LOL.

They do have two variants of their BB Cream and obvi I got the Whitening but the other one is actually an Anti-Wrinkle formula which I believe I don't need yet. So I got this one instead. I don't actually know if it really whitens and stuff but yeah.

This retails for 220 pesos which is very cheap! I actually wanted to try it basically because it's cheap. I hope it does work though. Even though it's cheap, I wouldn't want my money to go to waste just like that. Anyways.

As you may have witnessed, it kinda blends in with my color but not really. I have a strong feeling that since I have such an oily skin, this would probably oxidize and just boom! Darker face! But yeah hopefully not. I have lots of hopes for this product.

The only thing I kind of don't like about it so far is that it doesn't state to have an SPF which sucks but then at the back, it says it has something to protect the skin from the harmful rays of sun. That's good enough I guess?

This is what it looks like with flash photography. Not much of difference but yeah hopefully (yet another hope), it's not because of the lack of SPF.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that it has a somehow unpleasant smell. It's like bearable but yeah I'm just not accustomed to the smell. But the smell of Maybelline's BB Stick is more offensive so yeah. See yah guys next time!

Getting Wild at Ark Avilon

February 27, 2014 0
Getting Wild at Ark Avilon

It's my second time here and I don't really know what I was thinking and stuff but for some reason, I decided to go and see it again. Well to be fair, the first time I saw it, or like I went to this place, I was probably like, 15 or even younger I can't really remember.

It was a delight when we walk in the place and oh! Can I just say that they have a pet shop before the pet shop and they have like a parrot? or some talking bird that was ruuuuddddeeee! Like at first we were friends with that bird and then called us ugly right before we leave and get tickets. FRIENDSHIP OVER. And then when we left, the bird was like calling people sexy or something. ruuuudddeeee! LOL. They should teach the bird to greet people at least. Anyways.

So when we walked in, there were even more  birds and it's lovely to see them flying around and not on their cages. Like, if you're lucky, they would just shit on your head like nobody's business. I didn't see any poop though. I don't know what they do with that.

This bird was making pa-cute all the time and I was just like amused and actually never left that spot for a good amount of time.

Can I just say that this place is not the best place to take photos because they have this glass covering the animals and then it would reflect back and stuff. Also! They do have a very dim lighting which kinda sucks but yeah. There's that.

One thing I have noticed is that they allow you to feed some pets there. Just like some other recreational parks, you have to buy feeds. Which I find weird because it's their pets not ours. And shouldn't they pay us for feeding their pets? LOGIC. Said no one ever.

I have noticed that my picture poses makes me look like I have Elephantiasis. Anyways. So yeah I also noticed that they charge you to take photos with their celebrities. Celebs such as the snake, the orangutan, and a parrot. One ticket costs 50 bucks and it's good for 3 people which is not bad but I remember that being already part of the entrance fee before. I don't like parks or anything that charges more money for certain things.

Also, they have huge birds on display and I'm guessing they're dangerous because they are chained but I guess it would be better if they would be able to fly at least but then I would probably rant about not seeing them because they're flying around. Life.

Although boring, this is kind of my favorite place because it's like outdoor-sy and nice I think but yeah nothing really much in here.

By the way I don't think I've mentioned that I went with my partner in crime. My cousin of course! She's just so like me so this kind of trips are her thing as well so no problem setting things for this. Also, if you would notice, she likes wearing flip flops like nobody's business. Just saying.

This is probably my favorite shot like. MOMENT! Do they usually look like this or should I really be amazed?

Can I just share that I might get a snake for a pet. I don't know but I think it's kind of nice. Just one and tiny like this and not really those enormous snakes. I know they're deadly but I just think the idea of it attracts me a little bit. I will make sure to get the least dangerous/deadly snake of course.

pony
So this park is actually a two floor park and on the second floor, they have farm animals and some more birds on display. They have a donkey, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, peacocks, and some other cocks (no pun intended).

Cute! THE FEELS!

This was very confusing but we did not hesitate and took photos with this set-up. I think they had it for Valentine's Day but some other things there confused me as well because they still have their Christmas lights on. IDK.

Snake! I don't have a fear of it or whatever but it was dang heavy! And cold. LOL. I have a poor eyesight and I was like seeing the snake (in person) yellow and my cousin was like, that's totally white! And I was like, how come? And then the person originally holding the snake was holding a yellow snake (literally) and I told my cousin to look at it because it's definitely yellow and she was like, totally WHITE! And then the guy confirmed that they have two snakes. The one being white (the one we took pictures with) and the one he's holding that moment. Weird. My cousin told me it might be the lighting because at one moment she thought it was yellow too until she got hold of it.

Anyways, I did have fun. Although I got really disappointed with some stuff but let's just not discuss that for good vibes so yeah. See yah!
