Food Trip. Mr. Miyagi.

November 18, 2012 1
Food Trip. Mr. Miyagi.

Mom actually discovered the place because she kind of passed by it on her way to another restaurant that she asked me to search.

Here are some of the grillables that we got. Let me just say that they actually provide a "special sauce" for you to dip the grilled stuff. Nothing special. Quite alright. Tasty.

Grilling in action. :) It's really quite fun to grill stuff and all that. But the food itself, not really much to look forward to. I must say that the corn I grilled is love. LOL.

Lucky for us that we were the first to arrive and that we didn't actually have to queue and all that.

Here are the grillables. They kind of serve it in a small tray if you ask me. Should have been bigger if they want the clients to have that festive feel.

Sushi! But not really so much. Taste wise. But quite alright.

Desert! Gotta be my favorite. Of course. I think I had like 6 scoops of ice cream overall. Love! Gotta love the Leche Flan of course.

I also like their almond jelly thingy. And then salad. They also had some fruits but didn't feel like eating it. And then they also had Ube Cake which I swear looks unappetizing.

That's all! :D

Food Trip. Santorini.

Food Trip. Santorini.
We actually go a lot here. Like, when we have sufficient amount of time to get out of our way and eat some real food. Well, okay okay. Mcdonald's, KFC, and Jollibee are real too. SOMETIMES. LOL. Nah, not really. The thing about this restaurant is it's kind of far from our building.

The story is I actually borrowed a book from the library, like, a week plus days ago and I was supposed to return the book last Tuesday because that's the only time I have for uni stuff. And then last Tuesday, I thought I put it in my bag, but NAH. So yeah. Returned to UST yesterday (091912) after I had an exam in the hospital and actually I was from night duty before the exam. But whatever. Sometimes food is more important than sleep. Okay, no sense.

If you're planning to visit this restaurant, you just have to take the P.Noval EXIT, locate Mini Stop, and you just have to find the salon. It's beside that salon. Okay. NOT HELPFUL.

What I like about this restaurant is you'll not get bred while waiting for your food. Even though it is a very small restaurant to actually call it a restaurant, there's just so many things to look at.

They also have this magical teli that airs Korean stuff so yeah. I wish they'd invest in bigger screen though. But yeah, kind of nice to watch EVERY TIME.

Say hello to my cousin's LIPSTICK first. LOL.

So yeah. Here's what we had.

I was actually not sure what Zzapaghetti would taste like because I don't know. IT'S UNCOMMON? The first time I ate here at this place, a friend of mine ordered it and yeah. GOT CURIOUS since then. I wanted to try it but I don't know. MY CRAVINGS FOR BIBIMBAP was probably more dominant or whatevs.

It was DELISH. Like, I had a Korean curry the last time I ate here and I noticed that the sauce is the same. But then it's actually far better with noodles. Like, I didn't enjoy the curry thing but this one is real goodness. I can't find the logic there but whatever. LOL.

Next is their Vegetable Pancake. Also good.

The last thing we ate. Like, for some reason, the pictures I've shown is in the same order as we had it. Brilliant! LOL.

We also had two servings of this free radish goodness. GOOD! :) So yeah and then we went to SM to pay some bill and went home and yeah. :)

At least it's delicious. LOL.

At least it's delicious. LOL.
When I came home (090312), I saw this at the table. Oh boy. Diet ruined. To be honest, I actually had cheeseburger from Burger Machine and then had some dinner and then this. What diet am I talking about again? LOL.

GUILTY PLEASURE! For reals! It's a potato snack and it's dang good. It's actually a Calbee product and anything from Calbee is expected to be delish. Confirmed! And FATTY of course.

I noticed that whenever I am in Japan, just because I eat potato chips from Calbee too much, I gain pounds and pounds just like that.

So this one is from Hokkaido, yeah? I don't know much about their potatoes but whatever. Anything from Hokaiddo must be something legit. I just know. LOL.

It's like double fried and deep deep fried french fries. And when you take a bite of it, you know you're gonna gain a pound or two in an instant. It's really very crunchy and stuff. Really fattening I suppose. But at least it's delicious. LOL.

Food Trip. BonChon Chicken

September 03, 2012 0
Food Trip. BonChon Chicken
Like hours after I came home (090212), mom asked me if I want to eat at BonChon and stuff and I said yeah. So then we went to SM North EDSA because aside from the UST branch, I believe it's the nearest branch that there is from our place. The thing is only my sisters and I ate here and that they ate at some Hainanese I don't remember. So yeah.

I don't know what everyone's raving about actually. It's just that...For me, it's kind of ordinary. Don't get me wrong though. Ordinary is good. It's just that, it's not actually very good. But good. Get it?

Somebody explain! LOL. I love that they have matching clothes though. When I noticed it right? I told my mom so and she said that I shouldn't tell them because they don't like wearing the same stuff or whatever. Anyways. Back to the topic.

Here's what I got. Crispy Chicken Bulgogi. Pretty good. Really crispy I must say.

Food! And for some reason I look extremely tired. But whatevs.

This is probably my favourite part of the meal. It's really good. The combination of the ingredients is interesting and stuff so yeah. It's actually called something like "Ko-Yo" or something like Korean Yogurt but whatever. It's just FroYo.

That's about it. :)

Food I munched.

July 25, 2012 0
Food I munched.
And for some reason, I'm doing it in order! LOL. I don't know. I know I'm on diet and I must lose weight but you know. Hash tag excuses once again.

The story behind this photo is that I was actually sleeping when my cousin knocked my door and said that they bought Vitamilk and that I should go down and drink with them. I was looking forward to taste it, honestly. Like, they sell it in 7/11 near the hospital I am in but trouble is, I don't have a can opener somewhere and stuff. I actually like the "milk" or plain is it? Than the chocolate one. Maybe because the taste of soy is stronger in that white thingy. The chocolate colored one taste more like of a chocolate. And for me, that defeats the purpose. For some health reasons, it may be acceptable though.

Donuts! I know I just had donuts recently but yeah, free food is love. We actually got another box of donuts from my sister's boyfriend or whatever. She said they're not together but I doubt. Thanks for the donuts though. My fats appreciated it.

Mocha cake! Not that great. But I ate it all anyways. Thanks mom for bringing me home this. The cake is kind of dry so without the cream, it would be a mess. Like, I think so. My cousin actually got one too and she said that she doesn't like cream much so yeah.

It may not look very appealing and you might not be able to recognize it without looking at the cover but... CREPES! This particular stall was suggested to me by my friend Kim and she said she likes that particular stall because the crepes there aren't too sweet and stuff like that so after quite a while (July 24 2012), I decided to give it a try. Got one for my cousin too! I also managed to snap some photos on how they made it.

By the way I got Peaches and my cousin got Mangoes. :) Love how they put in white chocolate chips whichever you choose.

It was pretty good. Maybe they should change the way they serve the crepes though. It can really get messy. Or maybe it's just us. LOL.

Lastly... cheese flavoured BINATOG. If you don't know what that is, it's like boiled corn kernels that they serve with coconut gratings and some salt. I actually am not sure if they only serve it here in the Philippines. But anyways.

This is not even the weird thing about it. Mom actually got the milk flavoured one. Can you imagine that? But actually, not bad. It's just that I prefer the original way of serving it.That's all! :)

Madagascar White Chocolate. Review.

June 01, 2012 1
Madagascar White Chocolate. Review.

Just a little background about me, I'm not really a fan of WHITE CHOCOLATES. I always feel like, they taste kind of greasy and fatty and buttery and all that. People are different, some people like it, and I have nothing against that.

This particular brand though, is awesome. You can really taste the chocolate and not just some sweet something something. Or maybe because I just haven't had something like this good of a white chocolate before. Well, that's a possibility. Well, I still don't like white chocolates in general. But I really really like this one.

I'm actually wondering why there's 21 pieces in it. It's just so unusual. I even looked through Morinaga's website to kind of trace whether the number 21 is significant but no luck. Mmmm....anyone?

This is what each pocket looks like. Nothing too fancy.

And the inside kind of have some cookies? I don't know. Like, something like that.  It's not very prominent though. Just a nice balance :)
