Umi no Koen. A Look Back.

Umi no Koen. A Look Back.
Located near Sea Paradise, this place is a good place to catch sea shells and if lucky, some other stuff.  I actually remember people collecting sea weeds as well. We usually add our gathered shells to our miso soup at night. Which would rather give us a sandy soup but since we're all proud that we were the one who caught it, we don't mind eating it. At all. It's fresh so it's really different than your any other miso soup but yeah, you just have to be careful not to ingest the sandy residue.

Can we just altogether appreciate's my sister's effort because she thought my mom was taking her picture? Okay, thanks! :D Also, let's just look at my other sister on the right side of the picture because not a single eff was given.

Also, can we altogether appreciate how my sister over here screened the pile of dirt and look for sea shells? Also, me holding a rake is just awesome.

Can I just say that everytime we go here, I actually secretly wish we would go straight to SEA PARADISE. That didn't happen. EVER. Pero carry lang. Sanayan lang yan eh. LOL.

Can I just share a story? Yup. I think it was my youngest sister but it's not necessarily this trip but we place our gathered shells in that basin looking thing, right? She said she saw something and so I gave the basin to her and it's kind of already filled in and she accidentally freed the sea shells in the water and so we had to start over. Oh well.

We usually just change our shorts because mom would always remind us not to wet our T-shirts but I  can't remember who among the two pushed me so yeah. Mom actually didn't bring a shirt for me because you know! So since it was still cold during that time, dad removed his undershirt and offered it to me. Yun lang. Oh and we usually bring snacks because mom and dad actually just sit and don't help us at all so they have to have somewhere to sit on plus! They have to have something to eat. :D

Favorite Ramen Places.

Favorite Ramen Places.

This is actually my favorite place to order ramen. This is where I've tasted the most ramen~ish ramen that there is. I mean, some ramen places shouldn't even exist. There are like 3 places in Japan that I legitly like and stuff but this is far my favorite. The picture above is a place called Osakura ramen. They serve really delish ramen and yeah, delish. We used to eat there twice a week I believe. The other place is the one near Sanwa. I don't know what it's called and I don't have a picture of it either. It's actually a larger place and stuff which is nice. Also, the service crews there are just as hot as their ramen. Just saying.

The other ramen place that I like is in Yokohama.

Like, super near my auntie's apartment. Like, across the street. I'm gonna show you the place though. I mean, the view. Just so you'll have a idea where to look for it. Just in case you're interested.

So yeah. Ramen in Japan is not all the same actually. You must be eager to find for good places to eat to really find the real deal. It's pretty much like life. There will be bad ones, but yeah. Just keep moving. You'll get to the good ones eventually. Although I'm not really picky when it comes to food. Food is food. Those that aren't delish are "okay" for me. Till next time!

Random Japan Pictures Part 4. A Look Back.

I know I brought it up before but I'm getting more and more convinced that I own mostly PAJAMAS in Japan. With my uncle, his wifey, and mum at Sakuragicho.

I don't know where this was but IT'S FANCY! And I like it. PJs again? Or not?

I don't know where we were in this one neither. But it looks like it's some sort of a historical place and stuff. Might be a temple or whatever. That's all!

LOST. A Look Back.

LOST. A Look Back.

Can I just share a childhood story? I mean, this sort of thing is not something I can easily forget. Well, it actually happened 16 years ago and I still remember what happened to me. The picture above is not exactly the point of the story but it's kind of the same thing. You'll know why. So...

Sixteen years ago, when my dad, mom, and I were shopping for things. Well, it's kind of a marketplace so I'm not so positive if you can actually call that shopping. But anyways. What happened was they left me in front of a pharmacy and there's actually a kiddie ride outside and so they entered the pharmacy, right? I was left playing and riding that kiddie ride outside for a while and my mom actually said that I should stay there and they'll be back to get me.

After a while, I got bored and got worried. Probably got scared too. I tried to remember the path we crossed to get to that market and luckily, I remembered it. I specifically remembered that we passed by a GREEN PAYPHONE and dad parked our car nearby. It was kind of a long walk from the pharmacy to the car but then again, I was so thankful.

So I finally found our car and I remember I went up to its roof and tried to look for its key by looking down from the sunroof (silly of me). I was crying. I actually went up the roof to actually be visible to my parents' eyes. Like, I was pretty short that time so whatever.

So just because I was crying, the lady in front of where our car was parked opened the window and asked why I was crying. And another WTF moment of my life happened. I told my story and asked her if she have the KEY TO OUR CAR. LOL. WTF was I thinking that time?

And then luckily, mom and dad were able to find me and they said that they were about to find me using the car and stuff. I think I got scolded that time too. Or not? So yeah. :))

Sakura pixes.

Sakura pixes.
These are some pictures I took some years ago. I'm just so missing Japan. Like, every time there are so much stuff to be done in the laboratory, I would always say stuff like "I want to go back to Japan." LOL. My co-intern actually copied that line of mine and said it to me.

Thank goodness for phone cameras. They really come handy. It wasn't even like a smart phone or so but yeah pictures in general never fails to bring back good memories. Or even bad memories.

Since I don't really have anything to do, I usually ride my bike and stuff. And so I took these pictures of Sakura. I believe I was with my sister Mika this time. My looks haven't changed much, yeah?

So much love! This was taken few years back as well and it was in some province where my dad's closest friend lives. So yeah, we usually go there to visit and give them gifts from the Philippines. I actually love that there's that mix colored SAKURA. I believe the tree is owned by someone though. Sorry for trespassing.

From this on, pictures are from my "so called decent" camera.  Actually, not much difference. LOL.

Or maybe it's because of the focusing and stuff like that.

Maybe I NEED a new camera. Maybe not. Maybe. Oh wells. Oh, and in case you're wondering, I actually used a filter on these photos. It's called "DUSK" and it's from an online editing app whatsoever.

The photo below is unedited however.

Yokohama love.

Manyo Club. A look back.

June 24, 2012 0
Manyo Club. A look back.

I was too young when I visited this place. I think it was around May. The place is so POSH. It's like a hotel or some sort of. Manyo club is located in Minato Mirai which have lots of facilities to offer. Look at my sisters! :) Aren't they the cutest? And look at us wearing onsen robes? LOL. And Look at my youngest sister, she still cannot follow instructions during that time so if you would compare her robes to ours, it's wet. I remember she sat on the path where people should walk so her stuff is kind of wet. WHAT A KID! INDEED.

Can I just go back and savor the moments? AGAIN? The thing about me is when we traveled and all that before, I always tend to forget that I should enjoy and spend the day like it's the last time. I should change that attitude of mine and live my life everyday as if it's my last.

It's very near COSMO WORLD. OMG! I want to go to Cosmo World so bad! I remember asking dad to kind of drop us off the park but it just didn't happen. My sisters went there on their last trip I believe. For some reason, I really am a sucker for amusement parks! From my position, you can actually see stuff that's happening on the park and if you don't plan on going to COSMO after MANYO. DO NOT ATTEMPT! You will just die of envy.

I can't forget the screams and all that machine-sounding noise that can be heard from our position.

Here's me with mom. :) The thing we were sitting on is actually a "walk-onsen" I don't really know what it's called. I totally made that up, you know. It's a water filled path and there are like different sizes of stones in it.

We had a private/family bath which is uber awesome! I mean, I enjoy public bath but there's nothing wrong with keeping everything private. My sisters!!! They kind of treated the tub as pool, believe me. They're just pretty behave on the picture.

I love this shot! You know what? Before, I kind of stood there in front of the glass window and kind of looked at the view. From the window, you can see little boats and ships and stuff. I kind of stayed out of the water long enough and when I looked up, I saw a sign that goes something like "do not stand in front of the window naked" And something like 'they can see you' and stuff.

They do have a game center somewhere, a massage center, restaurant, and other stuff as well. My mom actually went to the public bath just to look around. I should have done that too! REGRETS! As from what I can still remember, the food was awesome! And I heard, expensive.

I want to come back!
