Kagetsu Arashi Ramen Review

Kagetsu Arashi Ramen Review

チャシュ

Delicious. When I decided to do this Ramen Review, I swear I only intended to sample the チャシュ in every restaurant but my lack of imagination in describing things made me put up more items from the menu in hope that I'll be more credible. NOT.

This place is kind of a go-to place because it's very near my place and it got probably two more branches nearby so it's hard to miss. Also, I love the mildness of the ramen here.

After work.

Yokohama something something. I don't actually remember the name. The ramen was good! I'm just upset that there wasn't an egg.

Ramen. My favorite!

There was a point in my life when I liked eating fatty food or like, always craving for it and man, this was like a game changer. So fatty and so good!

This one was sooo good as well. I realize I'm not a fan of very spicy noodles but this one is bearable and delicious. Something about extremely spicy food is that it's hard to enjoy the food but no problem in this one!!

The Golden Miso something. Not that good to be honest.

 Nira

Three years ago, when I was new here in this area, tita mentioned this ramen place for the first time and she mentioned that they have delicious Nira so we should go.

Condiments

There are lots of branches of this place so I'm so sure it'd be easy to locate one near you. If you ever have a chance, try a bowl of ramen and yeah, ciao!

Day in a Life

Day in a Life

This is like a very random Tuesday when I know I have to rest in the morning because of work at night but I didn't. My life. Anyways. I went to the dentist for a cleaning session and it turned out alright. The dentist confirmed that my teeth are alright.

My next schedule would not be until October. That's awesome! Like, I'm happy I'd able to take care of my oral thing. I was actually supposed to go with a co-worker somewhere but she had to go somewhere all of a sudden. Anyways, I was like, might as well go somewhere on my own. You know I always do. I then went quickly to Don Quijote to buy some hair stuff. Then for some reason, I craved for ramen. Mind you at this point, might be 12 in the afternoon (not sure) I'm sweating!! Like, it was so hot outside and I was just riding my bike. Like, why? But then I did eat ramen.

It's actually Arashi. The same one they have in front of my mansion.

No regrets. Usually when it's like summer, they do blast their ACs so I was relieved inside the stall. But when I went outside, I was like, so burning.

I then decided to have some ice cream for relief. I actually went straight to Sports Depot to buy some stuff. It was a nice day.

Ramen in PH? | Taisho Ramen

Ramen in PH? | Taisho Ramen
So I have told you about me not being a fan of Japanese food here in the Philippines but hey! This is just a proof that we shouldn't generalize things. Dad's friends recommended this and it was really worth trying.

Can I just say that it's pretty affordable. I mean, Ramen in Japan is usually 580 and above so that would be like 240 pesos or something.

Family picture. I was wearing yellow to support the Salinggawi Dance Troupe but yah know! FAIL.

Mika! Nothing really special about this picture. I like to call this a filler. Hahaha peace Mika. Oh can I just say that I like the interior! It's not very Japanese but it can give you that feel. This is at Taisho Ramen if you're wondering.

Not the best ramen I've tasted but this one is hella better from the rest I've tasted here in the Philippines. This one is close. I like everything about this bowl of ramen. Except probably the way they offer you the garlic. Usually in Japan, they kind of blended the garlic already whilat here in this place, they serve it by clove and then they give you this device which is quite confusing and hard to operate. Anyways, will try more from that store. Almost everyone ordered the same except for my mom who is not a fan of ramen. Well except when we're in Japan. :)

Favorite Ramen Places.

Favorite Ramen Places.

This is actually my favorite place to order ramen. This is where I've tasted the most ramen~ish ramen that there is. I mean, some ramen places shouldn't even exist. There are like 3 places in Japan that I legitly like and stuff but this is far my favorite. The picture above is a place called Osakura ramen. They serve really delish ramen and yeah, delish. We used to eat there twice a week I believe. The other place is the one near Sanwa. I don't know what it's called and I don't have a picture of it either. It's actually a larger place and stuff which is nice. Also, the service crews there are just as hot as their ramen. Just saying.

The other ramen place that I like is in Yokohama.

Like, super near my auntie's apartment. Like, across the street. I'm gonna show you the place though. I mean, the view. Just so you'll have a idea where to look for it. Just in case you're interested.

So yeah. Ramen in Japan is not all the same actually. You must be eager to find for good places to eat to really find the real deal. It's pretty much like life. There will be bad ones, but yeah. Just keep moving. You'll get to the good ones eventually. Although I'm not really picky when it comes to food. Food is food. Those that aren't delish are "okay" for me. Till next time!
