Despedida Party by the Bay

Despedida Party by the Bay
Hi guys! I just want to share what happened yesterday because it is so memorable in its own way that I can't not share it. Yesterday, I sort of celebrated my departure and yeah.

beautiful sunny day
my loves
We went to Mall of Asia because hey, it's my last chance to watch the sun set up close and by now, I'm sure we've already established my love for sunset and so yeah perfect!! But first, we went to church to say our little prayers. I prayed for my and my family's safety.

mahangin

We strolled and we were thinking whether or not to ride the Dream Twister and indeed we decided to ride the monster!

Okay so the story is that the three of us were supposed to ride the thing because for the record! It was my bestfriend who asked us all to ride this but she backed out last minute! It was so frustrating but I was like, if not now, when? HA!

I do not recommend this if you're scared or even not scared of rides. I mean, I actually don't have a problem with rides and man this ride is a killer! But if you're up for it, I guess just go for it. The highlight of the ride was definitely the priceless view of the sunset. Like, it was magical! Even though I felt like I was gonna fall and die, I think the sunset made the ride worth my 100 pesos.

Then we dined in. As recommended by my best friend, we went to a place where we haven't been before.

forever friends

The last thing we did was we went to Timezone (this crazy thing happened) and called it a night. It was such a wonderful feeling to be with friends. I wouldn't know what to do if I had to face it alone. Thank you friends! Until we see each other again.

February So Far

February 13, 2014 0
February So Far
Hola guys! I just want to share/take note of how my February have been. This is so far a very chillax month but at the same time it's kind of eventful as well. Ang gulo lang. Anyways. Uhm chillax events nalang.

First, at the very first day of the month, I saw this. It's kind of sad to say goodbye to a friend but things really have to happen the way it happened. I'm happy because I know it's for the better. Let me just tell you about her. We came in to work together and we really clicked so I don't know I will really miss her. I was moved when I saw the note because I kind of saw her writing that but I didn't think she would write my name because we were on duty on her last day of duty and the thing is we never really said goodbye probably. Pulled a Life of Pi tiger moment there huh? But yeah I would have probably be emotional and stuff so yeah. Oh well.

Second picture happened on a Sunday. Well I don't really believe in luck alone but I was pretty impressed with these horses so I had to take a picture. This is also the time where I had to buy stuff to bring with me to Japan. Can I just talk about Horoscopes? There were so many boards there with horoscopes and stuff and my cousin was really interested in reading, right? I was like, wait a second! I noticed they said nice things to all horoscope and I was like, really now? But you know, those are nice guides for people but if you're just gonna let that happen on its own, na-uh!

the sun is setting

Lastly, pictures of the sky. I don't remember how to the sky looks is Japan but I will surely miss my view here. Sad. Hopefully it's better there though.  Just a side note, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW. Anyways, just like most of my Birthdays, I don't really get too excited. I think of it as a special day but no need for a huge celebration or anything like that. Will blog about my feelings if I feel like it tomorrow. Ciao! :)

December Dramuh slash Life Update

December Dramuh slash Life Update
Hola guys I just want to share some stuff with you. December is almost coming to an end. And I guess it's correct because come on we're like done with the half of it so yeah. I'm actually pretty impressed that I somehow accomplished to do things that I want to do so far. Well except quite a lot still but that's like besides the point.

With my remaining months in the country, I feel like I want to spend it with friends and family more than other things. But making time for it is kind of a problem because I intend to work up my last day here so let's just hope that it would be my off. As if.

So yeah nothing really special and oh by the way, I feel the need to share that we didn't light up our Christmas Lights at home. I don't know what the deal is but yeah I'm kind of sad but at the same time okay with it in a sense that we're saving and that we're helping Mother Earth. Whatevs.

I got the most painful cut of my life. I mean quite literally but a little bit of exaggeration as well. It's the most painful cut I got for a long time I guess. And I'm not really looking forward to experience this again because you know I remember acquiring this and I literally probably stained half the paper that did this damage. And I was like, what the heck happened?

This month, I finished a Doritos in one sitting. I don't know if it's wrong or anything but I like rewarding myself with food. No regrets.

I'm just happy to see things this December. Like this icy festive serum tubes. Part of the job is that after duty we have to dispose the serum tubes from last week out of the freezer and it's not usually like this so I thought it would be nice to take a picture because it's like a mini wonderland. Yeah.

Also, I want to share you this latest group picture with my lab mates. There's one more of us but he's out of the frame so yeah.

Lastly, I think the sky is most beautiful this December because people around me might have noticed this but I'm always looking up the sky quite a lot and I just think that the formation of the clouds this year is just lovely. I don't have anything against December at all so far and yeah talk to you again soon! :))

Transition of Colors

Transition of Colors
I just noticed that I'm rather so fond of looking at the sky nowadays. It takes my thought out of things. You know! Like a clean state. As a regular worker, I usually have a regular schedule and would go out of work at sunset. I would say I go out of work tired as usual and just seeing the sky above makes me calm down a little bit.

Here's what I usually see. I love it! It's like a masterpiece. The rest of the pictures below are random shots that I took because I thought it's beautiful.

I guess it's nice that our house is kind of near the bay so somehow we can have a glimpse of the beautiful things happening there. I can't wait to like go there again and watch the sunset closely but please oh please, clean the water. I mean even if it would be a 10 year process, they should start doing it.

I love looking at the sky because it's not always the same. I mean, it's very much like life. There's always something new to appreciate.

I'm kind of thinking to take a sunset picture to each country and like be it my collection or something because I've been thinking of starting a collection of something so I would have stuff to look at to when I grow old or when times like those come. You know. Just being sentimental as usual.

Victory and Friends.

Victory and Friends.
FRIENDS <3
Hi guys! When I passed the board exam, I knew I have to celebrate it with these awesome people. You may know my cousin (black top) from the many blog post I have featured her to. I have also featured my best friend (pink top) in maybe a blog post or two and the new girl in the picture (green top) is Diana! A high school super close friend of mine.

Nothing fancy. Just a dinner out to celebrate my victory and just to catch up with things. I am blessed with awesome friends and I am really thankful to have them in my life.

It rained so hard that time and my cousin and I were there an hour earlier than the call time and then yeah we were worried that my friends would actually go on with this dinner but then they did! So rare. LOL.

BEAUTY
NOT SO TASTY
Ordered two servings of this fries which I kind of regret doing because personally, it's really not that tasty for me. It's like too powdery because of like the artificial flavor which is not really that tasty as well so it's like eating talcum powder lang. But anyways.

FIREWORKS
Diana told us that they do fireworks on Saturdays so we stayed a little bit longer to watch the show. It's a super short show but since it's free, we really can't complain about it. It's not too shabby! :)

Goodbye Maring! See you never.

August 23, 2013 1
Goodbye Maring! See you never.
Two years ago, with this kind of weather, I would probably still be thanking the weather because that would mean that the good ol' UST wouldn't have any classes. But the situation is different now. But internship and review classes made me think otherwise. Don't get me wrong though! I still love the rain. But not like what have just happened. That's like five times of what I actually love and that doesn't go hand in hand. Anyways.

This flower is probably the most beautiful thing about this typhoon Maring. Such a survivor! :)

For some reason, my new digital camera decided to focus on the leaves instead of the flower itself. Way to go!

I really hate the flood! With all the diseases and other disgusting stuff it carries, it really freaks me out that kids like to actually swim and play like it's a pool or something. Please don't!

Little Mari wants to play
Luckily, it didn't actually rain that much today. Well actually, I was in the review center for quite a long time today so I actually don't know if it rained at all but for most of the time that I was out, Mr.Sun was very visible. And guess what people would complain about this time? HOT WEATHER. Life.

Mama's Birthday Celebration

June 11, 2013 0
Mama's Birthday Celebration
Hi guys! I just want to share what happened to my mum's birthday. Okay so my mum's birthday is on the 8th of June and we went to Bataan to celebrate. I have only been to Bataan twice, I guess. The first was when we went to Montemar and then the later is what I'm gonna tell you know.

Can I just say that I feel kind of free being able to join events nowadays. Although I must admit that I actually skipped a day in my review class but I'm gonna make up for it! I'll do my best to cope up. Okay enough of that. Okay so let's get into it! :) I must give you a little warning though. This post is bombarded with pictures so yeah. The resort that we went to is called Bataan White Corals. What separates them from other resorts is that they allow pets inside the resort so upon hearing this, mum decided to bring with us two of our beloved pets. Hashi and her mum Mocha. Can I just say that it's no easy job bringing pets. Especially when we were in the car. Mocha was kind of alright but Hashi is dang wild.

PETS IN FRONT OF THE RUNWAY
This is when we stopped for a while to give the pets a bathroom break. I was kind of amused because Mocha was eating the grass which she doesn't do on a normal basis so I don't know. Maybe she was dizzy from the trip or something.

FRONT VIEW OF THE RESORT
ME WITH MOCHA
Now the outside or the front part of the resort didn't really impress me. Nothing so special. It would actually give you an idea that the resort is small. And this is also one reason why we shouldn't judge something by its cover.

MOCHA
MAMA
I was actually impressed by the resort itself. The ambiance is beautiful and peaceful looking. Can I just say that I hate that the resort beside our resort have this videoke machine and they're effing noisy as hell. I mean, I don't sing very good but at least I am not bothering people when I do. They were like singing 24/7. How can that be not annoying? Oh anyways.

I don't really like the room as well. It does the job but mum told me that it is more expensive here than in Montemar and the rooms are actually more beautiful in Montemar so that's sort of my comparison and justification. Also, there's no free shampoos, soaps, and other stuff to steal. But anyways. LOL. Good thing my mum is always prepared with these stuff whenever we check-in somewhere. Good thinking, mum! <3

FRESH WATER POOL

SALT WATER POOL
To make up for that, I was very impressed with their pools. There are two of them (as you may have seen already) one is the Fresh Water and the later is the Salt Water. They're not playing when they say SALT WATER because for some reason, I have accidentally tasted it and it's legit salt water. I personally prefer the Fresh Water though.

THE BEACH! <3
OMBRE BEACH

MIKA AND HASHI
When I first saw it, I fell in love. I was actually not expecting that the beach would look like the pictures above because you know, I think I told you before that Subic Bay disappoints me a little bit. But this is like, perf! I don't know if it's two different things or how things work but I don't care. Basta me likey. :D Also, can I just say that I'm so proud of my little sister for actually not injuring herself? Just a little back story for ya'll, she was stung by a jellyfish in Dakak, Cebu and was punctured by a sea urchin in Montemar, Bataan and some other minor cases in between so I'm really proud that even though there's like a warning that there are many sea urchins, she survived! :D  HOORAY!

Some more photos from the event! I decided to put the pets and some sunset photos in a different post because it deserves to be in a separate post because it's like perfection 2.0. But I won't be cutting you off of course. I'm gonna show you a sample photo in a while.

MAH FACE
This one I cropped (obviously) because when the guy who took this photo is taking our photo, I noticed that his finger is covering the lens and I was like, okay maybe not. And then when we already finished posing and stuff, he was like, OKAY! :) And then I was like, so maybe his finger is not really covering. And then we viewed the pictures at the restaurant, his finger is also in the frame. As you may have still noticed on the right side of the picture. So that's the story of it. Thank you though! :)

AT THE RESTAURANT
Not a fan of their restaurant. It's a little pricey in my opinion. The food is not that great as well. Oh well. We had lunch here but the other day, we like "trespassed" in another resort just to access their restaurant. LOL. Which is a little bit cheaper. A LITTLE BIT. But not that great either.

WHITE CORALS ON THE LOOSE
SUNSET  LOVE

Probably the most awesome sunset I've witnessed. SERIOUS STUFF. If I can, I would totally buy a house somewhere here because it's just perfection.

Hi guys! I've told you that the resort we went to on my mum's birthday allow pets to actually go in so we did bring two of our dogs with us. They were such a delight and made the experience kind of different than the usual. In a fun way.

DE HASHI!

Can I just make kwento a little bit? I didn't document it but Hashi bathed in the bay! Like, she hates shower so we were kind of hesitant if she would go in and the deal is we wouldn't force her to go in but then when we reach the shore or whatever, she went in the water by herself and swimming like a national team swimmer there. We're all looking like her like a proud momma. Except my mum who thought that Hashi would die right away. But it's all good now!

MOCHA IS LOVE
Mocha also bathed but when she came in the room with dad, she was covered with sand particles so mum wasn't happy about that but I bet Mocha really enjoyed that experience as well. Too bad we didn't able to witness it though.

I don't have much things to tell you guys anymore but I hope y'all enjoy the pictures :). Can I just reiterate that this is probably the most gorgeous sunset I've witnessed. I went out of the room because I wanted to see the sunset and took pictures by myself and when I returned to the room, I saw Mika and asked her to go back with me so that I would have pictures with it and then whilst we're taking pictures, the rest went out as well so I asked my other sister to take pictures with me and Mika  in it as well. And vice versa.

LOVE

ME :)
It's actually kind of odd because I can barely be recognized but you know, whatever! I must have this picture.

PERFECTION
MIKA
Can I just say that when I saw this picture while reviewing the sunset batch, I was kind of proud and happy I took this because it's like unintentionally artsy.

LAST DAY :(

That's where this adventure ends guys I hope you had fun reading or like, seeing the pictures because let's be honest, there are times when we're just all lazy to read shiz and we just want to see pictures. LOL. Have a good day y'all!
