Friend's Birthday Dinner

Friend's Birthday Dinner

Since we don't really have much time out, times like this are usually cherished. Back home, we do usually give time for times like this. After school, after work, whatever. Now, we do make way to be able to have something done during our one hour break. It sucks. But fun.

The team!

The Birthday girl is actually my neighbor and I'm just glad that I was able to find a friend nearby my place. Also, someone who share the same idea than mine. Kind of. Anyways, Happy 25th Birthday!

Busy Bee-Day

Busy Bee-Day

Birthday cake of Tita Lea. It was delicious! I really like cakes here in Japan. I mean, it doesn't taste fake. Although I must admit that I'm also into that "nothing but sugar" taste of cakes in the Philippines. Variety! Gotta love 'em.

Groupie!

This actually happened a day before our celebration in our workplace. Double celeb, it is.

I had Mixed Fruit Yogurt Parfait which was good! I don't know if I should be consuming this for breakfast though but whatever!

Then I also had this Scrambled Egg Breakfast set. It was a good breakfast! Anyways, that's just what's up recently.

Simple Joys

Simple Joys
Not so long ago, my cousin turned 6. It was such a simple celebration but it was perfect. Sometimes simple things matter most. We went to Cavite to celebrate and below are the pictures that we took. :))

This is the oh so cute cake that my mom got for my cousin. As you can see from the picture above though, they kind of messed up with my cousin's name and placed "YASHI" instead and then my cousin pointed out their mistake and they kind of remedied nalang. Oh well. It's alright.

The pictures (above and below this text) are kind of a fail because I made an effort in like somehow squatting and then no one went behind me for us to fit in the frame. It's just that my grandma is literally behind the tall peeps so yeah. If only! If only!

I wish my little cousin all the happiness in life. I mean, he's probably too young to be problematic and all that. I think he's all good as for now but you know, it's actually tough to predict everything. Just rambling yeah? Yeah.

I like celebration like this. Like, even though it was such a simple celebration, we were together and happy. I still feel bad for those who weren't able to come and celebrate with us. Next time! :)

Time to Fly.

Time to Fly.

I am fascinated by butterflies. I don't know why. This post is not actually about butterflies, birds, or anything else. This is a post about me being 21. Pagbigyan na please. LOL. Not only being 21 though but some other random things that I want to say just because. ALWAYS.

I don't know what to do. I mean, it's not like the pressure is on or anything but the pressure is really on. I didn't see it coming this fast. I mean, I did when I was 20 but when I was like 18, which is just 3 years ago, I didn't think that I would be 21 soon. Time flies.

I want to thank all the people that helped me and accompanied me for the past 21 years of my life. My family, friends, everyone.

To those people who never left my side when I needed them, thank you! I promise I'll always be here with you as well. To my mom who always supported me, thank you. My sisters that look up on me, I know you could do better in the future. I would always be here for you two. Keep going!

I want to share one story that really touched me. During our last seminar in the hospital, one of our trainers left a quote that I wouldn't forget. STICK TO YOUR DREAMS. And then It made me wonder what my dreams are. TO BE HAPPY. Among many others. And I will stick to that. I mean, if you're happy, you're happy. Not all doctors are happy. Not all rich people are happy. But if you're HAPPY, and you're a doctor, then you're happy. Just like that. And then he said one more thing. "Not all those who worked hard succeeded. But all those who succeeded worked hard." And I agree with him. I mean, I don't like people who complains a lot about things (they can change). I hate people who feel so helpless well in fact, they can help themselves.

Okay enough of that. Good vibes! :)

21!

21!
Yup. My Birthday happens on a Valentine's Day. So I was never lonely haha. Or why should I? Anyways, I just want to tell you some of the happenings yesterday.

Google greeted me! Yay! I was so surprised because I was actually supposed to look at the two ferris wheel thingy and this showed up! Google is like the awesomest when it comes to this things.

Awesome friends are awesome! Thank you friends for this. I appreciate it. They surprised me with a cake from the Department of Health which we always eat at and I actually don't have an idea that they already bought one but they were sceptical because they thought I saw the cake but I swear I didn't. Sometimes I don't pay attention much.

Meanwhile, let's just appreciate my haggardness because it was quite a toxic day in the laboratory. I was actually supposed to absent from duty but since things are kind of complicated, I didn't and I'm so glad that I was able to celebrate it with them.

Yakimix. Food Trip!

Yakimix. Food Trip!
It was my sister's birthday last Sunday and thank goodness for my schedule. Like, I was from night duty so whatever but the point is I'M OFF. So we went to Robinson's Place Manila a short while after I came home. That would be around 9:00 am I guess? Yup. So we went kind of early to buy my sister stuff.

This is the first plate that I got. Thought I'd share it with you. :)) The best thing that I liked in this buffet is that they have sea foods! Which I like. Actually, there's like a reminder on the table that says we should have a separate plate for cooked and raw stuff but you know, I really wanted to taste their Lechon Kawali so I got a piece of that. Surprisingly good so I definitely recommend you try it whenever you decide to eat there or something.

Already cooking the stuff I got. I must say that the sea foods are really my fave. I also did enjoy everything else though.

Hello to my "FROM DUTY" face. Haha mess. Can I just say that I am the person in-charge of actually grilling stuff and putting it to people's plates so when we took most of the photos, I was like "yung niluluto ko masusunog na!" Haha wala lang.

The one with the mayonnaise on top was DELISH! Like, it's not entirely raw. Kind of steamed and it was perfection! The rest was okay. I also like the one with TUNA in it. They also have a wide selection of sweets! Like, heaven.

I think the Chocolate Cake was popular because there were only two slices left on the table.

They got cakes, fruits, ice creams, jellos, tarts, fruit salads, sweet nuts, sweet potato chips, crinkles, cupcakes, and more!

Can I just say that these little things are love? I only had the cheesecakes though because I was already full but others actually don't look as appealing as the cheesecakes. I had two Blueberry Cheesecakse and one Cheese Mousse Cake,

Awesome, right?

Can I just say that I've just noticed that there's like a formed heart there? Awesome. And the white cake is actually the Cheese Mousse I was talking about awhile ago.

Us sporting our sweets! :) And mom was quite proud because the one she's holding is the same color as her top. Haha. Yun lang.

InstaPix 1.
Today, just because I like the thought of it, Imma do it. Like, ain't it nice? LOL. Basically, I'm gonna take pictures directly from my phone, Instagram it, then post it here. The good thing about Instagram is they actually automatically save a picture that you applied filter to back to your picture file again. And this time edited already. Good thinking.

This particular picture is already pretty as it is but with some random filter, VOILA.

Hashi is just love! I mean, how can you even resist that charming cute face of hers? I don't even know.

Sisters at Star City. What the eff with our faces though? LOL.

My sister's cake! I actually don't know why but my mom really fancies this particular flavor. Whether it is the only available flavor or not that time, I don't know.
