Maybelline BB Watergel

Maybelline BB Watergel
Recently, I have been not so happy with the condition of my skin when going out. I mean, as much as I thank goodness for clearing it up and saving it from little monsters, it's just still not the way I wish it looked. Anyways. There are so many Drugstore Brands available in the market but since my skin is a sensitive mess, I thought I should just stick to what I know will not hurt much. For now.

I got Maybelline Pure BB Mineral Watergel. I don't know if it's the official name for it but whatever, right? Anyways. It retails here for 1200 yen (tax excluded) which I find kind of expensive. But everything is expensive here so whatever. I find that it doesn't have the scent I hate on my Maybelline BB stick which is nice!! I'm just so happy I don't have to deal with that.

They do have 2 shades available being #1 Natural Beige and #2 Medium Beige. I got #1 because I'm assuming that this product will oxidize. Plus! It's summer. I don't know why that matters. LOL. I actually swatched both of them when I was deciding what to pick and they're not actually that different so yeah. Actually, when blended, they look pretty the same to me so on to what I think would work better. Assuming as always!

It doesn't give much coverage but I guess it will make my skin look more presentable than just being on its own. Also, I think since it's summer, I could use some SPF. I don't actually know what watergel is for. Maybe for soothing the skin or probably for easy application or actually whatever but yeah this product claims to do the same thing as the BB Stick so hopefully it won't break me out as well.

Thoughts on Pond's BB Cream

Thoughts on Pond's BB Cream

I wasn't actually going to buy Pond's because of a certain reaction it does to my skin but then again I was I think a little bit attracted to the packaging. Not the nicest packaging but somehow head-turning. And that's applicable only if you like pink.

Having finished my other BB product, I'm not expecting much from this and what it promises. Right now I'm just holding on to the 'fact' that it has SPF. Which is always a good thing.

It promises to whiten the skin and stuff and luckily I'm already happy with my color but yeah. Hopefully it brightens up my dark spots because they're just so in love with me that they don't want to go away. Annoying much.

The formula is thick and it's fairly easy to apply and also easy to blend. I also like its scent. Like, it smells like your typical Pond's product but at this point, I'm just happy that it's not offensive like the BB Stick from Maybelline.

The coverage is so light though. I literally need two squeezes to see a difference on the coverage. As for the application on my face, I can see that it somehow evens out my skin tone which is like the thing I need most due to some acne discoloration and stuff but it does't really give a flawless finish or something but it's definitely better than having nothing on at all. Maybe with 3 to 4 layers, you'll be able to achieve a flawless canvass but I don't think I'd recommend that. Go with a foundation instead if your desire is to like cover up. If you're a fan of the saying "go big or go home" this product might not be for you.

Maybelline BB Stick First Impressions

Maybelline BB Stick First Impressions

Hi guys! I feel like it's been quite a while since I bought something for my face so awhile ago, I did. Okay so what happened was I think it was last Monday, I saw this but they didn't have it in my shade. Okay basically, they only have two shades there so that's not very good because I feel like I'm in the middle but since they only have somehow the light and the dark, I chose the lighter shade. Lightest shade if you may. Ha! Better safe than sorreh. Actually, I have a problem with this color matching thing because I have a weird skin and for some reason, I can't find my match. Uuuyy kunwari sa skin lang. Hahaha

I believe the middle shade is called Natural and the darkest I think is called Radiance. The Natural sounds so appealing, yeah? Anyhows. Oh by the way the reason I haven't bought new face product until now is because my skin is like bishing so I'm really trying my best to give it a break but since this thing promises a lot of things, I think it might do it good somehow. Read what it says at the back below.
Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skincare, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and mineral clay that helps control shine all day.

As you can see, that's like the color difference but then again don't be ridiculous! I didn't actually blend it or anything. I wonder why I didn't though. Let's not talk about that.

THE APPLICATION
It's kind of funny how there is an instruction at the back. I probably applied quite more than what I should but then again that's life.

I'M TERRIBLE AT  BLENDING LOL
As far as the application goes, it's quite easy to apply but since it's not like in liquid form, be cautious because it can dry up a little and it would be harder to blend. Verdict? Mmm...I don't know how I feel about it yet but then I think it does its job. Probably not for this shade but I think it can be a full coverage BB product. As you can see from the after photo, with two layer on, the pimple scars are still quite obvious and since I got the lightest shade, I don't think I could go out with another layer of that because I would probably look like a White Lady of some sort and we don't want that to happen! Also, it's gonna consume a lot of product so what I would do is that I would probably just conceal them or something. Oh I hope that the mineral clay works because you know, I'm an oily mess! Anyway, that's my first impression. I hope it somehow helped you or nah I don't think so. LOL. Have a good day, y'all!
