I got SCAMMED in Seoul!

I got SCAMMED in Seoul!

So, please don’t panic guys. I’m not a hater or something. I am still a fan of South Korea. So...one thing I’ve noticed is that...they take advantage of your innocence. That wouldn’t happen in Japan. Or so I think of course. I’m sure there are some unfortunate  souls out there who have experienced the horror of this world (in Japan). As you would know, I went to South Korea with some friends and yeah, it’s unfortunate that this kind of thing happened. Coz I really like Korea.

First, we went to this market where you can exchange your old coins to goodies and yeah well there was this ONLY ONE stall that asked for the coin twice. Well, to be fair to that lady, I actually gave the coin, asked for the food, and then she asked for the coin. It would be common sense not to ask for the coin again madaam.

Then! This! So we were 4 people splitting the bill, yeah? Each of us gave the exact amount needed for the meal but when the counter lady counted it, it’s missing 10,000 won. Not cool!! Again, we should have probably counted before reaching the counter but in our defense, we were supposed to pay bu credit card but since they don’t accept cards, we had to pull out cash all of a sudden. Oh my goodness. See, not cool, Seoul. Anyways, the cool part I’m about to share! I plan to do a day by day post so since I was there 5 days, expect 5 post about it. Yay!

Cheonggyecheon Stream | When in Seoul

Cheonggyecheon Stream | When in Seoul

Secretly really wanted to see this. Before, I was like, gotta see what I should see but now that I know that it took them millions of dollars to reconstruct, I'm kind of curious. Kind of.

I didn't even know we were there already it's funny. Basically, when we were strolling near our hotel, I saw this tower and I was like, what's up? Didn't mind it much.

Rainbow After every Hardship

Before the trip, I kind of already searched for places and how to get there from our hotel and this stream is supposed to be 30 minutes away but yeah.

Now I know why it was darn expensive. It's long. There were children with their little boats that time. They were probably gonna release it or something. No idea.

Cheonggyecheon Stream

Also, they did have people wearning traditional costumes and stuff. Also some camera guys so maybe they were having a shooting or something.

Would love to hang out here at night though. Probably pretty with the breeze and the lights. Ciao!

My Soul Wants SEOUL.

My Soul Wants SEOUL.

So last May 2011,  I blogged about this on my WordPress blog account which I am not updating by the way. So I figured I want to blog about the top 5 things I would want to do in South Korea. Soon, I hope.

1. Just be in Seoul.

http://aajaasia.wordpress.com
It may sound weird but I just want to feel how it feels to be in Seoul. Do you feel me? Like, you know how different it is to kind of watch a concert on TV and to actually watch it live, right? That kind of hunger. I want to feel Seoul.

Take pictures and stuff like that!

Namsan Tower, Teddy Bear Museum, Hello Kitty Cafe, Seoul Zoo, Han River, and all that stuff.

2. Visit Lotte World.

Since South Korea doesn't have a Disney Land, well, North Korea too I think but yeah. I guess Lotte World is actually the way to do it. Or EVERLAND, is it? But whatever. I think I want to go to Lotte World more.

3. Visit Bukchon Hanok Village.

Like, I've seen this village in movies, series, and all that stuff so I really want to see it myself.

4. Walk along Chonggyecheon Stream.

Like, it's so common of a place but whatever. I still want to go

5. Eat STREET FOODS.

Life, for reals. Everything. I want to try a little bit of everything and go back for more. Like, eating at some fancy restaurant wouldn't probably give me that Seoul vibes as much as eating along the streets of Seoul, right?

Random Ramblings. Wanderlust.

Random Ramblings. Wanderlust.

Can I just say that I really want to travel and see the world first hand? For real. I just hope it'd be soon! I just want to experience life in another country, like, not as a foreigner and stuff but to actually be with its people and kind of learn from them. I just thought that being a foreigner is actually not the best thing to be, because most likely, you'll be treated as one. Unlike if you're a native and stuff, you'll get more. For sure. Culture, language, tradition, and stuff.

Countries I want to live to bucket list:

South Korea
France
England
United States of America
Australia

That's all!

And so it fails.

And so it fails.

Dear North Korea, you're doing it wrong. So as you all know, the launch of the rocket failed. IN YOUR FACE North Korea! Guys who made the rocket and everyone involved, I wonder what your punishments would be. Better run your arses to South Korea and ask for help. I thought North Koreans are expert in this matter but WOW. What a surprise that they can't even launch a rocket properly. But you know, thinking about it, if it indeed launched properly, then wouldn't it be landing to the South of Korea? Just wondering. And also! The trajectory thingy said that the rocket should have parts somewhere in Australia which obviously failed because it seems to me that the North Koreans still have all the broken parts of the rockets by themselves.

Too bad that Japan and South Korea had to spend money by preparing though. But I commend that! Good job, still. But I wish we're not gonna be all complacent though. North Korea might or might not have a follow up. You know.

NoKor is shitty.

April 12, 2012 0
NoKor is shitty.
Way back 2008, I was having a vacation in Japan when some fvckery happened. There were helicopters and shit all over Japan and it was just so crazy. No peace of mind at all and all that stuff.

What's wrong with North Koreans? And I happened to live near an American Navy Base so that was double the fun.

Apparently, they want to do it all over again. It's because of a celebration of who? Kim Il Sung. The grandfather of the current leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. Or Kim Un Jong. Whichever is right. And he said that the missile thingy that they'll launch anytime now is a gift for his late grandfather. Yeah, if I were dead, I want a missile as a gift too, of course. That's what all normal people should think of as a "gift" to their grandfathers. Please take note.

Just so you'll get something from this blog post, they names the missile thingy "UNHA". Ugly name.

Now, Japan, including South Korea this time, are willing to counteract the missile thingy if ever the North Korean missile wouldn't follow the trajectory or if they "accidentally" do some crazy stuff to it and all that thing. I'm not so worried actually. But I'm not in Japan nor South Korea this time. The Philippine Government admitted that they are not ready. At all. However, they announced it to the public and that the people should be aware. Most especially those who are near the expected place of landing. I beg to disagree. If they were indeed informed, a natural and normal reaction would be of horror. But most of the local travellers would insist to cross the sea like it's 100% safe. Which I believe is not. You know, North Koreans are some bunch of ... people. Oh~ yes I said it. I said it. I said 'coz I can. Or because I don't know anyone from there. But really! Who's so sure about the path that they will be taking? Might be the other way around. By the way, is Taiwan worried at all? I haven't heard anything from them. Or I don't know.

So yeah, please don't be so sure and save yourself. Before it's too late.
