Day 3.1 | Nami Island and Lunch!

November 24, 2019 0
Day 3.1 | Nami Island and Lunch!

I was soo excited for this trip because it’s the first time I’ve been and it was soo beautiful. It wasn’t in its full autumn glory though but the whole vibes is definitely there, you know.

In order to reach the main island, one must ride a ferry for like 5 minutes or so. It was a rather smooth ride and yeah it's a very effective sell of the island. Also! Can I just say that Nami Island is supposed to be looked at as its own country because 1, you have to have a passport (not your own) to get in the island and 2, they have their own currency which I didn't see and 3, they have their own flag.

The trees are not that pretty anymore. Already have a lot of fall and it's almost prettier up than down.

I definitely love the colors of nature!

The maple trees are soo beautiful though! It makes up for the not so good color of other trees!

Snack Time!

The Picturesque spot at the middle of the island!

We only spent like two hours here which is not enough considering we have to find a perfect tree for pictures. Also, so many people which is part of the struggle but overall it was fun! I just wish we have like an extra hour to really maximize the use of the island.

Goodbye, Nami! I’ll have to see you again when I see yah!

After Nami Island, time for lunch! The lunch was awesome! I like it!

Add the rice and cheese on top and voila! Deliciousness! That's all for the Nami ISLAND post guys!

Day 2 | Everland

November 21, 2019 0
Day 2 | Everland

Our second day is dedicated to Everland. Because why not. Both my previous Korea trips only consisted either one of these two. It’s the first time I tackled both. It was fun but exhausting.

Snack Time First As Always!

Here’s what we had for lunch! It was delicious.

Because of the long queue we weren't able to visit the zoo/Safari so maybe next time!

Anyways, we weren’t able to ride as much as we like to because it was sooo crowded!! We were kind of unlucky on that part. BUT! We were able to ride the T-EXPRESS! Which I swear we were already ready to let go but thank goodness we didn’t because it was hell of a ride! I like it! It may be one of my favorite rides ever!

BLOODEH

They had a mini zombie escape thingy at a secluded area and my goodness it was crazy. They don’t even care about your privacy you know! They’d be pulling your bag and stuff.

Also one of the places I like is this. The tunnel of something. So interesting because the bulbs are either filled with flowers or like a letter so yeah. So nice.

My favorite snack ever! EVERLAND CORN IS JUST THE BEYST. I can’t even explain it you know.

More snacks!

Oden!

They had the castle lit up that time. I don't actually remember seeing this last time.

The parade was fantastic of course. One thing I wish they did was the fireworks. I remember it being the highlight of my Everland trip before. They also closed that four seasons thing for some reason so we weren't able to take cute pictures! Not that we have time to spare though but you know! That’s all!

Day 1 | I Seoul You

November 18, 2019 0
Day 1 | I Seoul You
This is the most hectic day of our 5 day stay in South Korea. Also, this is where I kinda squeezed in all the places I’ve already been to before! But! It’s true what they say! Being with a different person to the same place brings you a different perspective. The first day was Hanbok, Seoul Tower, and Hongdae day. We lived in Myeongdong area so I already know that we can just walk our way to Cheonggyecheon and the Palaces so that’s what we did. It was sooo far! I didn’t put into consideration that we were 10 minutes away from the extreme end of Myeongdong. Which we survived by the way. I can’t say the same for my shoes.

So we stopped at the stream which I will always have a soft spot for. We didn’t take much pictures though or stopped for more than 20 minutes because it’s that kind of place. You just pass by it for some reason.

We walked our way to the palace, ate our breakfast/lunch at the 7/11 cafe which was so nice and rented Hanbok. We actually didn’t go to Bukchon Hanok Village anymore because we’re on strict schedule and we woke up late because of our very late arrival at the guest house the evening prior. Anyways, we found the Hanbok rental shop we were looking for, chose our dresses, and went to the palace! It was refreshing.

We took loads of photos of course and then we went to Myeongdong! This time near the meeting place for our Seoul Tower trip and had bibimbap!

It's a Small World!

MIKIE AND MIKA

Seoul Tower was fantastic. I like it. Maybe the same level as how I like the Tokyo Tower even. I don’t know. Something like that. We took loads of photos and headed back down. Went home to put on a proper coat and headed to Hongdae! I might actually just stay in Hongdae on my next Seoul trip! Now! I know I already told you I’m not coming back to Korea before but maybe. Just maybe. I would probably want to utilize my Everland visit next time. Fireworks and all! Or maybe Lotte World too! That’ll be cool.

As I was saying, Hongdae. We weren’t able to have chicken like I originally planned to but we had the best Korean barbecue! Me likey. We were also able to watch street performances which was cool. So yeah.

We had this chicken which ACSLIFE recommended! It was good! Can I just say that Hongdae is sooo lit! I like it! Although I remember it much prettier in WINTER with all the lights and stuff! That’s all!

What I Got For Myself in Seoul

November 14, 2019 0
What I Got For Myself in Seoul

Okay this might come as a shocker to everyone (including myself) but I didn’t buy much for myself in Seoul. For realz. I only got myself 5 footsocks, 2 hand moisturizer, 2 single use shampoos, 2 single use leave in conidtioners, and 2 packs of pimple stickers. It works, man! I think why I didn’t buy as much is I already know I won’t be using them. I know because I’ve hoarded skin care stuff from my previous Korean trips before only to find the skin care unused for a long time. So I’m saving myself this time! Also, I feel like now that I’m getting older, Korean skin care is not as effective for me than it did from my first trip. My skin be thirsty! PS! Also didn’t buy a lot of stuff for others! I think I bought my sister Mari the most stuff!

Also, I have bought myself a cute coin purse that I already opened up so there’s that! That’s all!
