Taking Over Yamashita Koen. 5.11.15

Lots of pictures!!! I went to Yamashita Koen as recommended by an auntie and it was awesome!

I was informed that the roses were in full bloom so I was like, since I don't really have anything to do, why not go?

Mind you I actually walked from Sakuragicho Station to Yamashita koen and I tell you it is not near. I actually thought they were just side by side. Meh. Most of the buildings on the way to the park are vintage looking though so it was kind of nice to look at.  My kind of view.

The port

Awesome flower

Pink Roses

The fountain

I don't know but this I think is the main attraction of the park already. Like, if it's not rose season, I think this is the only nice part of the park.

Can I just share something? I therefore conclude that I don't really have much luck with cameras. Like, I brought my DSLR with me, right? Before I actually leave the house, I grabbed my DigiCam from the counter out of I don't know, reflex. Then when I arrived at the park, I saw that there's no memory card in my DSLR. Then I realized that my DigiCam has memory card. Ha! I outsmarted my bad luck. Hahaha

Awesome vines.

Red and White Roses

Okay so let's just continue with my bad luck on cameras. After taking some shots with my DSLR, no more power. Meh! Then I have to return the memory card to its original owner. Oh well!

The flowers were so pretty! :)

Flowers and Yokohama Marine Tower

Huge Pink Roses

Crimson Red Roses to die for.

The ship is sailing!

In love with the view

Already leaving :(

Then I stopped by Jonathan's to eat dinner and I had this Mexican Chicken Rice kind of thing.

I was actually supposed to stop by Sakuragicho to eat crepe but it was too windy/chilly and I totally regretted not bringing some scarf/jacket but anyways, I went straight home instead.

Celebrating Nature at Sagamihara Park

Celebrating Nature at Sagamihara Park

Okay so this is what happened. I think it was my second day or like my third day in Japan when I decided to visit my favorite place in my city. The PARK. If you're from my previous blog, you may have noticed that I have talked about this place quite a lot. Anyways.

I only stayed at our house for quite a few days so even though it rained, I still went! Sacrifices! It's just that from where I stayed that time, I really have no idea how to go to the park and stuff. Also, can  I just remind you that at this point in time, dad already scrapped my old bike and so I walked. I swear I sensed people looking at me with my umbrella on. Oh well.

GOTTA DO THAT SELFIE

Should have seated and got my picture taken. Oh well living the forever alone life for quite a while I guess. DIY until you can make it.

Obsessed with the flowers! Going to this place calms my spirit. I guess you have to be in a good mood when you go here because if you're feeling down, I can see this place to actually make you feel more down for a reason because it's like very quiet and peaceful and stuff but it's actually very beautiful so I think that beautiful scenery may counteract everything I have just said. I don't know where my point is going. More flower spam!

You have to see this in person y'all. I kind of felt like a rich girl walking on her garden for a second LOL, Aladdin reference. Now where's thy tiger?

who can say no to this?

Usually there would be ducks swimming here but then they were chilling somewhere else. There are other mini ponds and I saw some there. Even ducks don't want to be mainstream.

Sometimes you don't really have to spend that much to be entertained and sometimes you don't have to pay for that expensive coffee to have that peace of mind. We just have to have more of this and this world would be a better place.

The park is huge and there are some other places to visit such as the mini zoo and that field where dogs can play and train.

There's a very limited animals in there but one can sure enjoy the sight of them. They do have guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, sheep, birds, cows, horses, wallabies, monkeys, squirrels, and maybe one or two that I can't recall.

ENTRANCE OF THE ZOO

I miss this place and if I can make my way there on my bike, I surely will! And spam more pictures! That's all about this post. Goodbye.

Asamizo Park, Japan. A Look Back.

Asamizo Park, Japan. A Look Back.
So I don't know if I already told you about this but this is like my go-to-place when I was young-er. LOL. So yeah we usually go here once or twice a week and stuff so yeah this place is really memorable for me so I'm glad I found some pictures and that I get to share some of the moments to y'all.

I seriously love the flowers in this place. Or generally the flowers in Japan. I don't know. It's just that I don't get to see as much here. I kind of like flowers. Because some flowers are kind of fragile so seeing them bloom makes me think that there's someone taking care of it and that someone is doing a great job. Getting sentimental all of a sudden, huh? LOL.

Tulips! :) Oh! Can you see the playground? My sisters and I used to play there and stuff! LOL. I wish I was a kid again. Si kids! Stop trying to grow up or something. Enjoy your childhood while it lasts.

There's even a mini zoo inside the park and stuff and yeah and it's mostly an interactive zoo where you can feed the guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats, and other animals. You can also just pet them and all that. There's even a place where you can ride a pony and stuff so yeah. Quite fun.

How cute! :D

I don't know what the guy outside is up to so yeah. LOL. On the other part of the park, there's actually a jungle. Well, people call it jungle but it's actually a woody place (woody place?) and there are some stuff in there which you have to complete and stuff. Something like, zip lining, wall climbing, rock climbing, and all other fun stuff. It's kind of hard to explain but yeah. Whatever. Near the jungle is actually a tower and yeah not actually very high but high enough to have a good view of the city.

Sagamihara Koen is really a big park because on the even other side of the park, there's a flower garden/museum that you can enjoy. Yeah there's just a lot to enjoy in this place. There's also a fountain in which kids usually shower naked and stuff. Like, even when it's too cold, they would still run around there.

So yeah! Oh there's also a pool and a spa/onsen there :) You just have to find it though because if I tell, you might still get lost anyways. I heard that they're renovating the building where the pool is at though. Mmm... So yeah! That's all. :)
