A Quickie in Roppongi

A Quickie in Roppongi

And no! It's not what you think it is. Actually, I don't remember the last time I went to Roppongi. I actually went to Tokyo Tower back when I was so little that I actually couldn't even remember what's up. And then I don't have a business to do in Roppongi anymore. Not when I was a child at least. Now that I'm of legal age, maybe. Just maybe.

Anyways, we went to Roppongi because my auntie wanted to show his grandchildren to a friend so yeah we did that.

They own this restaurant place. I don't know if it's an everyday thing but they do serve loads of Filipino dishes at noon. Eat all you can! By the way, thanks for sponsoring the lunch! :) I actually didn't pay because my auntie told me not to because apparently, whenever they go there, they don't as well. I'm thinking they're probably really good friends. Probably.

It was kind of a rush rush visit because I had to go somewhere after this. They actually tried to stop me from going because there would be I think a news coverage of the place maybe or IDK. Stuff. And my friend and I would be interviewed for something but I really needed to go. I actually don't know if my friend got interviewed right when I left but yeah there's that.

At night, I think they do have a live band or something. I personally liked the Kare-Kare! :) Mainly because I can't make it at home. I should learn how to though!

Tokyo Tower

I will be going soon! :)

It was a chill day in Roppongi. I mean, nothing to expect much because it's daytime I guess? I mean, it's very much like any place in Tokyo with shops and stuff around. Right before leaving for somewhere though, I still went to Donki to check some stuff out. Oh the Don Quijote there though! It's huge! Not only that it's huge but there's like a ride at the top of its building. Not operational, I guess. Sayang naman. I think it would have been sort of the unconventional yet fun way to view the Tokyo Tower. Anyways, that's all! Ciao! :)

Date Night at Odaiba

Date Night at Odaiba

Spur of the moment. We were actually about to go to Sakuragicho but decided to go to Odaiba instead. Kind of funny because last time, he told me he was supposed to go to Odaiba but ended up in Yokohama and Sakuragicho instead. Wala lang. Kawawa talaga yang Minato Mirai na yan.

Our view from the restaurant.

I like this kind of place. You know, you enjoy everything that there is. The view, food, and the person you're with. It's a nice feeling. Like, there's nothing to spare.

The food

Loads of food! How we finished everything, I don't know. But it was a filling and delicious meal.

It was a chicken kind of day. Always.

After the meal, we decided to stay and talk about life quite a bit and then there was this Filipina staff who gave us this cream filled strawberries as a desert sort of and yeah dinner complete.

Strawberry swing

Although raining, we still went for a walk, see stuff and all that. It was mesmerizing. I liked it. Anywhere with pretty lights, count me in! :)

Myself and him

Except when we (family) were on-the-go, crossing the bridge, or anything like that, I don't actually remember going to Odaiba to do what I did in this trip. Like, I never get to think of anything to do in Odaiba. Well, before, we did ride the gondola but you know, it was daytime and I kind of enjoyed the ride more than the view.

It was really gorgeous! :)

Odaiba Rainbrow Bridge

To more travels together!

We specifically searched for the Statue. From what I heard, I actually thought it would be in an island or something but to my surprise, it was within the area we were in.

So yeah, it was a very quick trip but I enjoyed it. <3

One Night Stand

One Night Stand

You ever felt like going to a place to sort of try to reminisce and stuff? That's what I tried to do not so long ago. And it was so peaceful. I'm glad.

went to Minato Mirai. Of all the places, my favorite place to hang out gave me sort of a bad memory to remember. Not whilst I was there though because for all I know, it was magical while it lasts. Anyways. I kind of went there to let it go. Yeah, the song. And you know, as much as I wanted to be angry and all that, I felt very calm.

I mean, do I still want to hang out in there, of course yes. Will I remember things, yes. Will it still matter? Meh. Not for long.

It was so beautiful that night. I was just mesmerized by the lights and everything. Always. Whenever I feel alone, I'd go here alone and it won't matter anymore. Ano daw? Hahaha

This place is close to Chinatown and somehow, this boat reminds me of a Chinese lantern.

Anyways, eyeliner on flick. Hahaha in fairness it didn't come from me. Sabi ng baby sister ko yun. I guess I'm getting better at it after all this time that I've been trying/failing and convincing myself that I don't need it naman.

Beautiful. Oh my and for some reason, even before, I noticed that the Gondola is always green. Like, of course I don't stare at it, right? But when I turn to look at it, it's always green. Why though?

Also, it was windy. Irrelevant.

I always wanted to ride these but you know, when I go out, I'm always like alone so maybe when the time comes, I'll get myself to ride alone. But for know, the idea of it kind of gets me off.

:)

Whenever I come to this place, I remember my sisters. Hello sisters! :) Wish you two were here.

It's always Christmas here.

After I walked and stuff, I felt hungry and I heard before that there's a good ramen place inside the World Portal. I actually didn't see a lot of ramen place in there so I guessed this is it. But you know, so-so.

I'm really clueless in operating my camera at night so what I do is that I turn it to sports mode and then take several photos and then I choose. My life. This one is good.

Can't wait to go back!

Taking Over Harajuku/Shibuya. 2.9.15

Taking Over Harajuku/Shibuya. 2.9.15

To be honest, this is like already one of the cutest stuff I've seen in Harajuku. I also didn't see much "gyaru". I've seen probably 6 of them. Sad.

There are quite a lot of stores in this place and if you just want to spend your money buying stuff, you'll enjoy your time here for sure.

First crepe store I've seen

Going to Takeshita street

It's actually quite near Harajuku Station so you'll never go amiss.

Takeshita Street

Just this street alone will feed you cute stuff! And your stomach too.

Takeshita street is actually kind of small but really full of cute finds. Like, shops after shops. Candy shops, dress shops, restaurants, like, not a single space wasted. And I like that they're all Indie-ish and cute.

Crepes!

Being totally bias, I bought my crepe at Marion Crepes. No idea which one to choose so I chose the one with the longest line. I think the one I got was called Banana Cheesecake or something. It was kind of cold that day so I didn't order the one with the ice cream version whichI bet would be awesome in summer.

Crepes display

Very curious what veggie crepe tastes like. Should I? Should I?

Angels Heart Crepe

Santa Monica crepes

I don't know what is it about Harajuku but there were lots of crepe shops. I'm not complaining. LOL. I think they have like at least 3 Santa Monica crepe store in the area so I'm looking forward to trying some from that shop.

Harajuku is not only a place for cute stuff but oh my gosh also a place for high end stuff. Chanel, D&G, Dior, and a lot more side by side and I was like, okay, going the other way now. LOL.

Harajuku Station

Selfie

Not that these selfies have anything to do with Harajuku. Like, it's difficult traveling alone I feel like. Kind of hard taking pictures of yourself with the stuff that matters. My face matters. Hahaha

It's kind of a vintage looking station and I'm actually really into it. It's not as fancy as Tokyo Station though. I think.

People crossing the street

Harajuku H&M and Forever 21

Lotteria

After a very long walk, I had this and went to Shibuya. At this point, my feet is really aching because of wrong decisions. Hahaha damn you heels!

Touchdown Shibuya

Shibuya lights

If it weren't for my aching feet, I would have stayed longer in Shibuya. It's so pretty there!! Like, lights everywhere and stuff.

Hachiko statue

I miss my dog Shiki. To my disappointment though, didn't take a selfie with it and it's underrated. Like not much people cared about it there, I feel. Lots took pictures though and boom, done.

Pretty!!!

Will definitely be back!! It's so festive. Me likey.
