Yokohama Illumination 2016

Yokohama Illumination 2016

Lips as dark as my soul

I went there and took pictures. Man, I can't even with this place. I don't know if I should already be bitter or whatnot. JK! Been there done that. Twice.

I'll never get tired adoring this. So much beauty to even acknowledge the hate.

One regret that I had is that I didn't try their food whilst I was there. Well I was gonna eat somewhere else so I had to control myself lol. The smell of the surroundings is so tempting though. I have to be back next time! They also have the ice skating rink set-up but also didn't try that one. Next time!

The Bell

Also went to Motomachi but none of the shops were still open when I went so that's less the fun I guess so I have to somehow be back next time. I think.

Beautiful

It was freaking cold that there's barely anyone walking just for fun.

OMG this. This might be my favorite display. Also, I'm playing Coldplay whilst on the trip and man, for some reason, it was so relevant.

The display got exciting actually. It's like already 3D and stuff.

I also caught a flu after this. Not good, my friend. Ciao!

Ebisu Illumination 2016

Ebisu Illumination 2016

It was quite a quick trip but I really enjoyed that time. I didn't know that I actually went on the last day of the illumination. Like, what? Talk about luck. It's very near work too so yay. It's not your typical walk in the park place though. It's Tokyo-ish. Busy. Crowded. Meh.

Chandelier! The bulbs represent how many years the chandelier is and I believe it's more or less 250. Don't take my word for it though.

This place is a short path that's quite irrelevant but lit up in blue anyways.

Not the Christmas Tree I'm referring to

Also missed the Christmas Tree! Meh. I will get back to it soon. If I remember. Also, am I the only sad person here because I didn't take a selfie? Mmmm. It's just not quite my blogging style if there's no selfie. Anyways. I'm starting to type non-sense. So bye!

 Ciao!

Conveniently just 15 minutes away from work, I decided to go after my shift and was left in surprise with what I saw. Well nothing there yet when I arrived because it's quite early but you get the point. When the clock chimed at 5pm, everything suddenly turned pink. It was magical.

Meguro Gawa Minna no Illumination

Pink Lights

Supposed to look like Sakura trees and it did not fail. Loved its water reflection even.

I'm sure professional photographers would just laugh at the shot above but I was quite impressed with this little failure to focus shot as I would like to call it.

I felt like a princess walking around her own garden for a sec.

I actually wonder if they're Sakura trees.  I bet it's just as beautiful during Spring. I should be back!

Fairy tale-ish trail. I was impressed with this place because you know, very quiet because for some reason, one little thing I hate about Tokyo is that it's kind of touristy and I find it really hard to breathe sometimes and maybe I don't make sense (just because) but yeah this place is really subtle and peaceful and not crowded at all! Ciao!

Omotesando Illumination 2016

Omotesando Illumination 2016

I don't really have much business to do in Omotesando except for MAC but since it's close to Harajuku, I went anyways.

The Beverly Hills of Japan (or so they say)

Simple as it may seem, it was actually very pretty!

Everything was magical

It's a very pretty place to visit. Too bad it ended already as of this writing but I'm really glad I was able to go! That's all! Ciao!

Yoyogi Park Illumination 2016

Yoyogi Park Illumination 2016

Sea of Blue

Last 2 years, I promised I'd go to illuminations. I actually thought I wouldn't be able to but with a little more determination, I managed to somehow sneak in! Last year was kind of fail (in general that is) but anyways, this year and early next year will be nothing but memorable.

I mean, just look at that beauty. Can I just say that as much as I'm almost running out of time with these events, because I forgot to bring my camera the first time, I had to go back the next week to take proper pictures. Waste of time but you know, this kind of place is not something you'll get tired of apparently. And it's near work.

Also, iPhone 7 Plus' camera is not as near as good as a DSLR. Whoever tell you otherwise is clearly lying. Pft!

Crowded!!! It's a fairytale venue with lots of prince and princesses so it's hard to feel like the only jewel in this one.

Yoyogi Park in Shibuya

This was actually the easiest place to go to since it's like a 10 minute walk from work.

Ao no Dokutsu

It's rather a short track but nonetheless beautiful. Kind of hard to take selfie though. The lights make you look like Avatar or something.

That's all! Ciao!

Tama Center Illumination 2016

Tama Center Illumination 2016

Christmas in our hearts!

Yokoso!

Sea full of stars? I was wondering what this is at first given my poor eyesight but then with the noise and all, I realized it's supposed to look like the ocean with all the creatures and stuff.

Selfie!

Also, I've been going to Sanrio Puroland every effing up until I was 13-14 but I didn't realize that it was in Tama Center.

Kitty Chan

Reindeers

It was beautiful! It was wide! Not like in Tokyo where it's so compact in a sense that in Tokyo, you almost only have a place to walk. But then again we went earlier this month so illuminations are not really that relevant yet.

First illumination of the year. Well it's up until February so I still have a lot of time to go here and there. Not bad for starters. Ciao!
