Shibuya Nights

November 23, 2017 0
Shibuya Nights

I swear I didn’t look like this before the filter. Your girl was haggard as hell! I work in this street so I thought I’d venture a little bit.

It rained unexpectedly and you know, it sucks because I didn’t bring my umbrella. But oh wells.

Yas!!!! I feel like I outgrew the stuff that they sell here but I like the aura of the store. Very youthful very nice.

I like this! Sooo Burlesque!

One thing I don’t do a lot when I’m at Harajuku is to go to hidden places. I would definitely go to more hidden places in the future! So anyways, I found this sad looking tree with a snowman deco. But I mean, it’s still very nice! The shop that has this

is kind of vinatge-y so it’s matchy matchy.

Shibuya! Ramble Crossing.

On my way home, I went to one of my favorite ramen shop, Ramen Sakura! I was actually hesitant to go because it was raining and out of the way but I went anyways. In life, sometimes you really have to take a detour. Ciao!

Shinjuku Torinoichi

Shinjuku Torinoichi

I went with my co-worker Shella Mae! Okay so we actually didn’t have the idea that there’s a matsuri happening nearby our Shinjuku office (where we were assigned) until our store manager told me about it. According to her, it’s a festival where shop
owners pray for the prosperity of their businesses. But we were no business owners so we were just there for food.

Distorted Hello Kitty face is life! Sorry, Mika. I know.

Osaka feels!!! I can’t even express my excitement when I saw these! Yas! Yas.

Fancy!

Entrance

So many food, so little time!!

Tan!! (tongue) Seriously my go-to piece of meat whenever I go to festivals. Yas!

We regretted the castellas that we bought because it was soooo dry!!! I mean, it’s kind of cute but it was hella dry! That’s all! Ciao!

Zushikaigan Beach 2017

Zushikaigan Beach 2017

ombre skin tan or what?

That uneven tan is from Enoshima Beach. So I thought I'd be able to fix my tan by going to this beach but oh well. Let's see!

Shin-Zushi. Somehow I feel so uneasy going to this place. You know, someone I used to know lives here. Oh well. Goodness gracious. Bitter??? Hahaha

the beach

It was so early when I got there. The sun was not even out. Well actually, the sun was not out until about 10-ish and I got there around 8.

The water is/was hella clearer in Zushi than Enoshima. Though the only problem that I saw is that it was very rocky! I didn't swim or anything so it wasn't really a problem from me.

beauty

Also, because it's jellyfish season already, not a lot of people came. Bonus for me to be honest! But!! Lots of barking dogs so as much as I wanted to sleep whilst tanning, I wasn't able to.

And with that being said, the unevenness of my tan just got a little worst. Tan is almost gone by the way so don't ask. Ciao!

Enoshima Beach with Friends

Enoshima Beach with Friends

Made a fool out of myself with this hairstyle. Yup. I was so happy that this trip came to life as planned two years in a row already. We were all like, if we don't go now, we all know it wouldn't happen at all this year and so we went.

sunbathing

I came here to tan more than to swim but I can't seem to achieve such. That tan is actually just the tent's shadow. Also, I was babysitting most of the time. Don't ask.

Yas

This is actually the nearest beach from all of our places so we decided to go here. Also, we were with a child who might not like long hours of travel.

It was not very pretty. Water was hella muddy. View was chaotic. Sun was perfect though.

Enoshima

Yuki Chan

I have been here in my early years (according to my mother) but you know, I have no idea. It all looked new to me.

yas

This is us 5 hours later.

Yuki, Mikie, Sara, Ate Michelle

We didn't have much time because Sara has work and goodness gracious, she's just so magulo kausap. So we came to the beach and she didn't bring anything!  And she kinda blames me because she said she asked me if I'm gonna swim then she said that I answered with something like, nah, I'm just gonna sleep under the sun or something. Which I did, for the record! But that doesn't mean I wouldn't swim. And it doesn't end there! Before inviting her, I asked if her schedule's clear and she said yes but on the day itself, she said she had to work at night and that we should have told her earlier. Goodness, Sara! But it's okay. If anything, I'm so so so glad she came! :) Life saver!! Sara, if you're reading this, I'm not mad. This is just how it works here.

Before going home though, we were able to eat Hotate! My fave. It was hella expensive for 800/pc. It was 500 in Osaka!! Rip off!

the market (sort of)

That's all! I'm so glad I was able to spend time with friends. Ciao!

Tokyo Disneyland 2017

July 07, 2017 2
Tokyo Disneyland 2017

Tokyo Disneyland! It's been two years since I went here so it's really nice to be back. I mean, it's always nice to be back here I feel like. Yeah?

I went with my mom last time but this time, I went with my sisters.

A lot of things didn't go according to plan starting with the time we were supposed to leave our place going to Disneyland.

chillin' with the hommie

I think we were 2 hours late and because of that, we weren't able to maximize our fast pass limit. We were only able to get 1 FFS! It was around 12 when we got the fast pass for Thunder Mountain and it was already for 19:55. I can't. Also, we weren't able to ride Splash Mountain because the queue is just ridiculous! The Carousel, Space Mountain, It's a New World are closed so obvi, we couldn't ride which is a bummer given Disneyland only has few rides as it is so...yeah. Anyways, it's not all bad!

Cinderella's Castle

There was soooo many kids!!!! I'm not gonna be a hater though. You know how I feel about kids at theme parks.

I remember it's always around Easter when I went here as a child. Like, for reals! I only remember going here on Hollyween when I went with mom, the rest, Easter. I hope to be able to go winter though. Of course it would be Frozen themed because that's what it's been eversince that movie started. I'm not complaining though. I kinda like that movie.

Sisters

Mark Twain

Popsicles!

Waiting for the parade. I so regret not bringing a hat/something to sit on. So whilst waiting for the parade to start, we were like this holding Mika's jacket above our heads. No likey. I also burned my arms. I actually don't mind being soooo tan but the fact that it's uneven is freaking ugly. I would include picture but I have no space for ugly ones, I just don't.

Tink! I'm such a fan of this whole Tink thing.

To be honest, I've only seen one Pooh movie in my lifetime and I don't freaking remember the story. I should consider going to the Pooh ride first next.

so cute!

I actually thought we're meeting Cinderella and so I told my sisters and Mika got reaaally excited I can't even.

They have quite a lot of cute and princessy stuff though. This chair, the shoes, the everything.

Cinderella's Castle

Flowers in the Castle

So glad there was a lady that took this picture for us.

Fangirl moment! The ship has sailed ladies and gentlemen. I don't even know why I like Peter. I mean, in real life, I wouldn't like this guy because let's face it. He's a kid that doesn't want to grow up, has toddlers for followers, and he's stuck in a land where it's not allowed to grow up. But since it's Disney, it all works for me. PS: I wasn't able to ride Peter Pan's flight. Bummer.

yup this whole fairy thing works for me too!

Let's go back to the series of unfortunate events shall we? Mind you it was sooooo hot in the afternoon but it got really windy at night so they had to cancel the fireworks.

Sooo glad we watched the Once Upon a Time thing though. It was sooo precious. I'm glad we grew up watching Disney. I mean, it's just A Whole New World.

yas

I'm so glad we were able to catch up at night. We rode Haunted Mansion and Pirates before going home.
