Let it Rain, July :)

Let it Rain, July :)

I kind of don't want the rain. But you know, there's nothing we can do. So I say, let's just take pictures and get it over with. Also, at some point, someone's been waiting for this moment so let's not spoil it for them.

Nakayama Station

Drunk People on board

I kind of like the weather because it's not too hot. And I like the sound. But I don't like that it's wet. Gracious goodness. Anyways. I may have said that a million times already.

Gloomy Sagamihara

It's the rainy season and it's not fun to be outside but yeah let's make the most out of it anyways. Stay dry. Also, it's July. Who saw this coming? Ciao!

Pig out at Yakiniku King

April 12, 2016 0
Pig out at Yakiniku King

Yakiniku King. There are lots of Yakiniku Tabehodai (all-you-can-eat) around here and this is just one of the chains. The ultimate goal is to actually taste all the Yakiniku chains around Japan.

I have been here twice with Bry. The first time was in Takasaki and the second time was in Maebashi. Both in Gunma. There's one here in Machida but I haven't got the chance to go there yet.

Our favorite meat!

Too much fat. I like it. The difference of Takasaki and Maebashi is that in Takasaki, the meat they gave us is this massive (the picture) and then in Maebashi, it's about half the size. We ordered it about three times and then the third time, they gave us the massive one. Why are we so matakaw? Hahaha

Cow tongue and pork sausage. In general, I like King's meat better than Takarajima's. I don't know. It's probably just me.

Meat

More meat

Desert

That's my conclusion. I like it! It's a little bit more expensive than Takarajima's but I think it's worth it. Also, the time limit here is kind of shorter than Takarajima's so all in all, it's a little bit more expensive. Ciao!

Old Navy Clearance Sale Haul

Old Navy Clearance Sale Haul

Bought this stuff at Grandberry Mall because you know, outlet store. You know, BIG SALE. And when we got there, goodness gracious they have things on clearance.

This is only like 500 plus. It's a high wasted short kind of thing and totally got this because I don't have one. Can't wait for summer!!

Also, can I just say that this skirt is 97 yen? I got 3 skirts and you know, when it's 97 yen, you don't care about what's up. But you know, it was all pretty.

Also, I got this very plain T-shirt to pair with the shorts or like the skirt.

Even though not on sale, I bought this anyway because it was cute. Also, MADE IN PHILIPPINES. Ciao!

American Park in Yokohama

American Park in Yokohama

Eating face

Not even a tourist spot. Haha anyways, when I accompanied my friend get her Korean Visa, we passed by a rather interesting spot and yeah it was this little American Park or so they are called.

It was rather creepy because you have to pass by this American/Foreign Cemetery and you know, imagine if you have to pass by that place at night.

The center thing though was pretty!

And yeah this one was pretty too! We actually met up with my Canadian friend Dan who works like a block away from the Korean Embassy and gladly he thought us the proper way to get home without passing by the cemetery. Further away but kind of alright. Although the second time we went, we still passed by the cemetery. Ciao!

McDonald's Spring Set

March 29, 2016 1
McDonald's Spring Set

Camembert Spring Set. This is actually just one item from the bunch and I think is the most appealing and so I tried. The burger was good! Not to die for good but good anyways. The cheese tastes very subtle that my friend didn't even notice. WTF! Yun pa naman ang pangalan. It's basically Teriyaki Burger w/egg and camembert cheese. FYI, it's just yesterday that I knew what camembert is. LOL.

I like ume flavoured stuff. I've tried lotsa ume Flavoured potato chips and so far I liked them all. Even before I tried, I watched Kinoshita Yuka from YouTube try this and she actually said that this kind of taste like those chips and I was like, Yas. It did taste like that but you know, nothing beats ketchup, I guess. But once in a while it's good to taste new things.

This I don't really know but it's pretty! I won't bother check this one but I guess it's cherry because you know, Spring. It was actually really good! It kind of taste like the Pink Red Bull that I've tried. Or even the Pink Pepsi. Ciao!

鳥忠さがみの亭 Chicken!

March 29, 2016 0
鳥忠さがみの亭 Chicken!

Lunch time. I was actually craving for this because you know, I remember liking their chicken before and so you know, must come back.

Went with my food buddy/gala buddy and devoured! No mercy.

It was so Chinese! Like, I never really got into a Chinese restaurant that looks quite Chinese. Most of the places are subtle. This one is all out! Like there are some feng sui-ish stuff there and lotsa mirrors!

Basically ordered Chicken because that's what they are known for anyways. For take out at least. Or so I think. I don't really know. I guess they have sushi as specialty actually.

Chicken Combo

Karaage and chicken skin. The skin was good! The chicken was so-so but you know, kinda good. I'll just give them that.

Tebasaki Karaage

This one is the winner. Like, you have to consume the chicken right away though. Also, they don't have lunch set menus which is a thing here in Japan so instead they give you a 20% hook-up until 2pm. Great deal! Ciao!

Peyong VS Peyoung Yakisoba?

March 20, 2016 0
Peyong VS Peyoung Yakisoba?

Peyong vs Peyoung. Actually, it's kind of the same. I really can't tell the difference but you know, if I really have to choose, I'd choose the classic Peyoung. Just because I'm used to the taste.

They do look kind of the same. All the little things and all. The classic Peyoung being more expensive than this new Peyong. Interesting because it's under the same company. Look at them trying to make lotsa money.

The main difference is that the KAYAKU doesn't have little pork bits. Also, its sauce is milder compared to the other.

It looks like this. Same thing basically. Minus the pork bits. Ciao!

Nissin Cup Noodlesss!

March 12, 2016 2
Nissin Cup Noodlesss!

My favorite snack when I was in the Philippines and surprisingly, I kind of not crave for it as much now that I live here in Japan. Weird.

There are a lot more flavors than these because every now and then, they come up with limited editions and stuff. Interesting stuff actually. One time they came up with a spaghetti type thing which was kind of weird but you know, they gotta do what they gotta do, right?

MY TOP 3
Curry

Good ol' basic curry because I sometimes think that Cheese Curry is too much for me. Still a favorite though!

Chili Tomato

Not particulary spicy. I can't explain how it taste like but I like how subtle the flavor is.

Cheese Curry

Good! But you know, different kind of good. This is not like a better version of the Curry as you would expect. It's like it has its own thing.

There's actually a museum of these cup noodles very near my place. I should visit soon!! :) Ciao!

HinaMatsuri.ひな祭り

HinaMatsuri.ひな祭り
March 3 is the day we celebrate little Girl's Day. Usually, you take them to a studio and take pretty pictures of them wearing traditional dresses or something. I'm not sure. Anyways, I celebrated by eating these themed food.

Sweetness overload

I loved the Strawberry! The green one was not that good though. At least for me.

Winner sushi

Then this sushi box. I don't know for sure what it has to do with sushi, seafood, or anything for that matter but I did eat this too.

CASE ON POINT!

Then I think people do display their Japanese Dolls and then there's this saying that it should be taken off after HINA MATSURI because then the girl would get married late. Actually, in our house, the dolls are in display 24/7 so yeah, hahaha. So alam na.

Take me Home <3

December 27, 2015 0
Take me Home <3
Selfie.

It was actually my first time to go to the airport alone. Let alone going to another country alone. But for some reason, I wasn't nervous. Anyways, my itinerary that time was Sagamihara-Machida-Narita. All about 2 hours and 30 minutes away from home. I planned to take the first train but I was like, too early. So I took the next train. Then when I was down the entrance of my mansion, I felt like my face was too hot (it's winter) so I thought I wasn't able to turn off the heater so I went back up again. At this point I really don't have any time to spare so I rushed my way to the station. I was able to make it on time but then when I tapped my SUICA CARD, it  turned out I don't have enough credits remaining so quickly, I asked the lady to load the card and she said I have to do it alone. Clearly, no time left for me. I missed the train so I really have to do everything quickly when I arrive at MACHIDA. Or else, I'll miss my bus. It was a very tiring moment because of time limits and stuff but everything else was peaceful.

I still arrived at Narita International Airport an hour early so still no problem. I checked-in online so no problem really but I wanted to like do everything quickly for me to able to roam around and eat and do last minute shopping. The lady at the station was really nice because you know, when I checked-in online, I wasn't able to select a seat and she was really nice enough to offer and said there are window and aisle seats still available. So I chose window.

I thought I'd eat a light meal but other restaurants are kind of full that time so I went to eat chicken curry set meal instead.

Chicken Katsu Curry

After eating, I went to the passport control, bought some stuff, then I still have like 45 minutes to spare so I went to the charging station and charged my phone. Slowly walked to my boarding window then waited a little more. My arrival time is like 3:55 in the arbo. I slept the whole flight and will occasionally wake up and check the time, right? I woke up at around 4:10 and we're still up in the air. It was very windy that time and we were warned that we'll be landing but the captain decided to delay the landing or something I don't know. I think we landed at around 5:00 pm.

With the family! The flight was actually an hour late but you know as long as you get along with your family at the end of the day, it's alright I guess.

I didn't tell anyone but a friend but I actually really planned to eat at Jollibee first when I arrive but I guess momma really knows best. So yeah, ciao! :)
