It's Skin Face Masks | Korean

September 22, 2016 0
It's Skin Face Masks | Korean

Beauty masks from my Korean trip this year.

I bought these masks from a shop in Myeongdong for a very cheap price. I got an assorted package and there are 3 that I bought separately for 1000 won/piece. Cheapo!

Avocado

Just like the Japanese masks, I was confused with what essence means because the mask smells nothing like avocado. I appreciate the fact that it fits better on my face though. I guess I'm Korean after all. It feels sticky but not complaining kind of sticky. You know!

Rose

Nothing really special about the rose. If anything, it's kind of fake. But it moisturizes so not really complaining. Can I just say that it's probably rose. I think its overrated how people perceive rose as this good smelling flower well in fact, it smells fake. It's pretty to look at though. Classic.

Pomegranate

Man, this one though! This is like the first time it smells like what it is. It smells very fruity which I truly appreciate because you know, it's been purely chemical so far. So hooked!

Olive

This one is milky for some reason. All other masks are like clear but this one has a lotion like consistency. Not really complaining!

Carrots

Not a fan of this. I don't know if it's this product or if it's time for the little demons on my face to show up but either way, I kind of had 2 little pimples hours after I used this. Also, I noticed that the formula is very thin and it felt kind of dry almost so yeah.

Honey

Smells sweet! It reminds me of something sweet and edible. It smells like Pandan with Condensed Milk. Not honey though. Still! Makes me want to lick it.

Blueberry

I have a love and hate relationship with the fruit blueberry but this I'm neutral. Just another mask.

Bamboo

No idea that bamboo can moisturize. Like, who would have thought? Anyways, I'm kind of not a fan of this.

I think I'm not a fan of masks as I was at first. Some works but some of them are very gimmicky to me. But still works. I mean, with my thirsty skin, I have to step up my game so therefore I will not give up! And I will search for more masks that I like. Ciao!

Japanese Pure Smile Masks

Japanese Pure Smile Masks

Variety of masks

Honey Apple

- Smells yummy! I didn't really feel anything supreme after the mask treatment but it was good (I think). At least my skin gets to drink up something. It's dehydrated as F.

Pearl

- Smells clean. No difference still. But I still think it's my skin. Or am I just blinded by all of these?

Silk

- Smells white. Is that even a thing? Hahaha. I like the smell of this though.

Cherry Blossom

- Smells pink for some reason. Also, can I just say that I am actually listing this in order and at this point, I kinda feel that my skin is getting better. Or maybe that's just me.

Bee Venom

- Rebelious name huh? This felt really cold on my skin. I actually think that this is all but illusion but you know, it was cold and somehow it stings a little. Again, might be all but illusion.

Peach

- Smells very fruity. I liked the smell of this.

Green Tea

- Smells exactly like it. I don't know what to say. I guess I'm kind of puzzled because what kind of green tea extract did they use to come up with a clear extract? I would be more impressed if it was green.

Snake Venom

- So think this is gimmicky but glad I tried and nothing crazy happened to my face. I used it at the peak of my sickness so it's either it didn't smell like anything or it doesn't smell at all. I have no idea.

Aloe Vera

- Smells like Herb. And I noticed that this one actually contained the less product. Not that it's sticky or anything. Just less product. I don't know if it's just the pack I had or if my skin was so thirsty that it absorbed right away but yeah. Although I must say that it's soothing to the skin and it kind of made my skin supple and all that right after. No idea what's up.

Horse Oil

- I don't want to know.

Gold

- How can a gold have an essence again?

Royal Jelly

At this point, I'm actually getting the hang of it. Even though they might not be doing anything at all, I like to think that they do. They might actually be doing something though. Who knows? Ciao!

Belo BB Cream

April 20, 2016 0
Belo BB Cream

Shortly after I watched Coleen Garcia's commercial for Belo BB Cream, I was like, give me what my sister uses. Joke! And I kind of want to shrug it off nalang because I can't really do anything about it. But then my mom sent me a package thru dad and voila, didn't expect that really. Sometimes I think that my mom's brain cells are somehow connected to mine. PS: There's something appealing about its orange packaging. I didn't expect that either.

Being the "useful" blogger that I am, I searched what this is all about. Apparently, it's about treating hyper pigmentation and making skin lighter hence the promise of tone correction.

It's more liquidy than all other BBs that I used. Also, it has this very whippy/bouncy consistency that I can't explain.

It also has a very light/medium coverage. If you want to achieve a flawless look, you might have to use a lot. Or it's probably just me and my problematic skin. Who uses BB creams to achieve full coverage anyways? That's not its job description, right? Anyways, it's always good to have a product that promises things and doing the cover-up while it happens. I have used quite a lot of BB creams in my life though and I can't really see much of a difference. I don't know how this one would differ. Anyways, ciao!

Drug Store Haul 2

April 16, 2016 0
Drug Store Haul 2

This is what I got from the drugstores. It's conveniently very near from my place so whatever I need, it's within reach. More like things I think I need. But not really. Hahaha. Talk about impulsive buying. Hahaha anyways, these are the things I got.

This pink hair color. You know, I think that there are really things that should be done by people who knows how to do it. Because I think that the more I try to fix the color of my hair, the more it gets worse. IDK. I should book a salon trip soon!!

This Blistex lip balm. For some reason, I always lose my Burt's Bees and I thought I'd buy another. NOT. Now, I don't know which bag has my lip balms. Most likely the bag I'm not using as of the moment and when it's like time to change bags, I probably have transferred it to my current bag which I won't be using 5 minutes after. I'm weird. I probably should have one lip balm per bag but not ideal since I don't really change my bag that much. And! They'd probably end up all in the same bag anyways.

This though I use a lot. Like, A LOT LOT. Before, I kind of dread oil applied on my face because my face is naturally oily and I don't need any more of that but when I read somewhere that it doesn't really add up to the oiliness and actually have benefits added to it, girl give me some of that. I usually use this to remove make-up and girl, it made my skin supple kind of. I'm impressed. Also very recently, my girl Michelle Phan made a video about oils and yay. So that's about it guys! Did you get anything from the drugstore recently? Ciao!

MAYBELLINE Cosmetics Haul

April 07, 2016 0
MAYBELLINE Cosmetics Haul

Once in a while I haul beauty products all from the same brand just to see how good is the make-up line or whatever. This time, it's MAYBELLINE. This post is so late I am kind of confident to give you a short product review already.

It's amazing how popular BB Creams are now. Like, way back before, it used to be foundation, powder, and some coloring stuff but now there's BB, CC, and many more letters! Not hating though.

I kind of like this. Not the "SUPER COVER" kind of product but you know, for a BB Cream, it's alright. Not mad about this. Although I'm not super loving, it kind of does its job.

This whip foundation kind of sold me at first. I was very curious when I bought this but you know, not that good of a coverage. I kind of don't like this TBH. I just don't want to throw it away. Sayang.

I also got concealer. Also not very good. I think I might stick to the stick concealer. Pun intended.

And this one I am most excited about. It's so good! I don't know if it lasts that long as it claims though. 12H for real? It leaves a pretty stain though so yeah. Ciao!

Ruby Woo

February 01, 2016 0
Ruby Woo

There's too much red happening in this picture that I can't even.

I actually never owned a red lipstick. I don't know why but it just doesn't fit me. Or so I thought. Like, there's something so strange with me wearing red lipstick. Must be the shape of my lips.

But then with my mum's forever comment that I look pale in pictures, I decided to go bold. Like, it's probably all in the mind anyways.

I got Ruby Woo because why not?

My lipstick collection is mainly of pinks and corals so when I went to the store, even though I know I am supposed to get red, I was kind of struggling in choosing but then I figured this is not for everyday wear anyways. So I was like, okay then.

I think Ruby Woo is a very nice shade for red starters. I mean, I like their Russian Red as well but you know, with red lipsticks, I think the matte-r the better. Because glossy lipsticks tend to slide, right? So I think with matte, it's a little more manageable. Actually it's like a double ended sword because you know, if it gets anywhere, it's actually a little bit harder to wipe off. Ciao!

KATE TOKYO Cosmetics haul

September 27, 2015 1
KATE TOKYO Cosmetics haul

These are my recent beauty finds. First of all, they are affordable as it is, but what sold me these was the 20% off at the counter deal.

BB Cream!

What I liked about this brand is that they have a wider select of colors than what I am used to. I think they have 5 colors to choose from and I got OC-B which is like the second to the lightest color from the range. To be honest, the middle color matches me better but I remember that I used to have foundations oxidize on my skin so I was like, a tad lighter won't hurt. Still matches.

I don't usually buy/use foundation but bought this just in case I actually have to use one.

Also bought concealer because I thought that if I would wear foundation, might as well do a full coverage routine. Is that bad? Haha anyways, I didn't bought the finishing powder because I believe that the powder I have would be able to do the same thing. Also, too much. That's all!

100 Yen Shop Face Mask

August 18, 2015 0
100 Yen Shop Face Mask

I can't explain how much I like this product. For its price, it does something. I've known this product for quite a while now because my auntie sent me this once when I was still based in the Philippines. I actually forgot what my relationship with this product was. Gotta check out my old blog I guess ;)

It has charcoal so I'm guessing it can purify my skin or something like that. For a hundred yen, I'm not really after that purifying stuff anymore. The fact that it can effectively remove whiteheads is more than enough. Because you know, there are 500 yen products that doesn't even work, I mean, come on. Also, it's not like, one use and bam! You can actually use it for like 4-5 times depending on how big your face is. Ouch. Really though.

I don't know about the pores but it made my face smooth and soft after peeling so yay! Win-win. If you can, I recomment you get this product and try for yourself. Ciao!

Showin' my Hair sum Lovin'

January 09, 2015 0
Showin' my Hair sum Lovin'

Since my hair is kind of already dead, I'm now at the process of saving it. Hopefully I would be able to do so.

I brought this hair oil and cream thingy. I haven't really used the oil yet but the cream is kind of good in taming my hair. Like, after drying it, I would just put some on the ends. It doesn't do wonders though. It just makes my hair kind of put together.

Just the basic. Only prettier packaging. For some reason, I don't really stick to one brand when it comes to shampoo/rinse whatsoever. More often that not, I'll just but what's on sale. Hahaha cheap me. Maybe that's also why my hair's shocked everytime. I don't know. I remember this particular brand from childhood though. I remember it being good but I'm not sure. I didn't actually have a good hair even back when I was a child but yeah I have a recall that I liked this brand.

I so envy girls that if you ask them what they do to their hair, they'd be just like, nothing really. Like, after all my HOT OIL AND HAIR SPA TREATMENT, yun yung isasagot sa akin? Hahaha but anyways, it's all good. Actually, it can be that their hair looks fab because they're not doing something to it. Diba? Sometimes we all just have to leave things alone.
