Snow at Sanrio Puroland

Snow at Sanrio Puroland

Don't be fooled by the title folks. Sanrio Puroland in Tama Center is completely indoors. It just so happened that it snowed outside whilst were inside.

I went with my sister and these are the pictures that we took.

As this is our first time in a long time, we got several official photos like this one that was taken during the My Melody ride.

My melody chair.

I don't know if I have a favorite Sanrio character now but back then, I used to like Kitty's sister, Mimmy. JUST BECAUSE. Can I just share that my sister, used to love watching Hello Kitty and we probably have all the Hello Kitty videotapes that there is, right? And when we would go to Sanrio Puroland, you would probably think that it is paradise for her, right? NO! As a child, she would scream her lungs out crying.

Sanrio Puroland is just as I remember it to be. The thing is, I know we missed a couple shows so there's always something to go back for.

When we went way back, they had a Gudetama section. More like an arcade themed area. It was actually fun.

This is the card that they give you at the entrance. Without this, you couldn't really do anything inside the arcade room.

The trick art museum is also something I enjoyed doing.

The boat ride is as magical as ever. I will go to Sanrio just for that ride alone.

Snowing outside on our way home. All in all it was a magical experience made more magical by the snow on our way home.

Sumida Aquarium | Tokyo Sky tree

Sumida Aquarium | Tokyo Sky tree

I went to this with my sister. We were initially planning to skate because it was winter but decided to cancelled last minute because we didn't like the skating rink. It was crowded with little kids! And it's so small so yeah we thought we'd do the sky tree without the skate bundle but yeah that was also very crowded so in the middle of falling in line, we decided to escape! We found this place accidentally I would say.

SELF

The place is not crowded at all so yeah a little hidden place around the building so maybe not a lot of people know about the place?

Even though the place is small, it didn't disappoint.

I feel like Jelly Fish area is something that I look forward to when visiting aquariums.

I remember spending a lot of time just to take a good picture of this creature.

That is all I can share about this now. I don't know if I liked it very much. I guess I did?

Swimming with Fam

Swimming with Fam

So... we went to this resort because my mom wanted to? We were actually supposed to go on her birthday but they kind of had a special lockdown during that time so the resort closed down for some reason. But then when we went there, one of the workers admitted that they were in quarantine. Again, stop quarantine shaming my friends.

Yup, that's a plant I'm holding.  This is what happens when two sisters from different cities meet for the first time in a long time. Talking about my mom and my auntie.

I love reunions like this coz' I get to see my family.

Obsessed with this pool noodle.

Love it! For most of it, the weather was perfect.

There was a slight moment when the sun lit so bright and even up to this writing, the situation right now is that I am recovering from sunburn.

PING

I love it. That's it guys! We went to a place called V Farm in Bulacan and it's not much but it's clean and not so crowded. And I heard it's fairly new as well so if you have a chance or if you've been vaccinated and want a place to enjoy the pool and so...this might be a good place to do so.

The Rest of Japan

The Rest of Japan

Hola!

The main purpose of us going to Japan is to actually put in order some of the stuff my father used to own and is now being distributed and stuff. Also, to put my father to rest. Here’s us the day we put my dad to rest. It was an emotional time.

We went to Ebina after and ate at our favorite steak restaurant. Hungry Tiger. I remember the last time we ate there and it was still with dad. I will always remember this place because this is like our go to steak restaurant ever since I was a child. I may have over ate this visit but hey.

Can I just share that this is probably the best bento I’ve had this trip. I didn’t each much bento per se but yeah this is the best. It’s curry rice and namba chicken from 7/11.

We went to Daiso to finalize our pasalubongs for the whole barangay and my mom was like, let’s eat at a good ramen place.

We ended up here. My mom hated the restaurant but I used to eat here a lot with my co workers and I don’t hate it. The tantanmen was a-okay! But I admit that there are other better places we could have wrapped up our Japan trip. Oh well.

Few days later, we returned to replace the fresh flowers with artificial ones because my mom and I wouldn’t be back so soon. The fresh flowers were still fresh but you know, no one will really replace it once we’re out of Japan. So yeah there’s that.
