Paskuhan Tips 101.

Image
I can't believe that it's like tomorrow already. I don't know know what its gonna be about but most likely Christmas, yeah? Hahaha but I know for sure that it's gonna be fun. Like, a whole lot of fun. For sure. But it can't always be magical and wonderful because you know. Things happen. Here are some tips/DOs/DON'Ts and just about whatever I could think of for this moment to be wonderful. If you're a Thomasian, you probably know what to expect. So these guides are probably for Freshmen/Outsiders. 1. Bring your I.D. - Like, seriously. It'll be like a FastPass to Disney Land or something. Because those who don't have someone to bring them inside the university or probably can't contact their Thomasian friend would like queue and actually block the gate so if you don't bring your Thomasian I.D., that's gonna be your luck. More or less. 2. Bring something to sit on. - Old newspapers, blankets, mats, whatever. It...

Give me a break. Rant.

The thing is I don't usually answer back to people. Not that I get complaints often but you know! I actually rarely answer back. It's either I'm sure that I am right or I think that I am mostly right. The point is! There are just some people I can't stand anymore. Let me just share some of my internship experiences. Can I just say that lately, I get really pissed off easily by stuff. And it's not just me. Ha! In Histopath section, we actually get to extract from our patients' and that means we actually have to deal with the relatives. Which I hate by the way. If you don't know already. I have three stories to tell you. Just so you would be able to figure out what I am trying to tell. First. This happened during the morning pick-up. If you don't know what that is, it's when we extract blood from the patients' every morning for their laboratory exams and all that stuff. Okay so let's start for real with the first case. ...

Like, really. More Singing.

Image
Excuse my feet but this I do as a tribute to THE VOICE. Which is ending very soon.  This is them with their classic duets. Like, they don't even have to sing together because you know, they don't have to. Hahaha but for some reason, they would like grab the mic and together and one of them wouldn't sing anyway and like, just drop the mic back the table. Ang labo lang. SelCa. If you don't know already, I actually had a hair cut so my hair is looking weird like that. Or I probably mentioned that to you already. Or not. Is my sister sleeping for reals or what? LOL. I don't know if I told you before but I actually slept a little bit the last time we went here. Then we availed the same package we availed before. Which I didn't expect by the way. Because like, we had dinner at McDonald's prior to this but never mind. We were still able to finish everything. Hahaha

Performance!

Image
So we had our hospital Christmas Party last Friday and part of the program was like, a performance from each laboratory section. Our theme was DANCE DANCE DANCE so I guess it wouldn't be hard to guess what we did. Because one criteria for winning is actually relevance to the theme. Whatever. LOL. Kim and I haha. We actually performed first so I really ate as fast I could just so you know. I don't know. Food was actually great. Like, we had LECHON, some pork, chicken, and rice. Too bad I wasn't able to eat deserts. Like, every group actually brought something for desert and I believe ours brought cupcakes but after our performance, we actually extracted blood from patients upstairs already so whatever. Thanks to a friend who actually took the pictures above. Like, he's not from our hospital but visited us anyways. And if you can recognize that guy on the first picture, yup! My previous post mate from my first internship. Not from my hospital now as wel...

More Community.

Image
These are just pictures from our latest community trip which I've learned a lot from. Like, not directly. But you know, sometimes, we have to really reflect and see things differently for us to actually learn. It's not always like in the uni or school or any learning institutes you know. We learn from our own experiences too. Unlike before, this community trip is actually sponsored and so we were able to rent buses and all that for the trip. If you can remember, we actually just rented a jeepney on our first field work. Another picture before actually setting off. This is how the community looks like. I guess we were lucky because it didn't rain and all that and with the existing condition of the community, I think we wouldn't actually like the rain very much. For some reason, we were really happy LOL. Say hi to my partner. A picture of me inside the maze like path that our preceptor was talking about prior to the deployment. It...

iPhone Pictures.

Me and a friend at the studio's lobby waiting for our turn to be called. Can I just say that this girl friend of mine waited like forever to have her picture taken and all that? Like what I said in my previous blog, I think it was really awesome to catch up and talk to her that time because I really haven't seen her in like, FOREVER. And there couldn't be more perfect time than this. This is before she had her glamour/creative shot taken. And guess what I noticed? If your answer has anything to do with her looking like Adele, we're at the same page.  I told her that and we were singing Rolling in the Deep whilst waiting and yeah, had fun. Haha ADELE! If you're familiar with RED IMAGES, you would know that the hair isn't actually supposed to be done the way it is in the picture. So I concluded that the stylist actually visualized Adele and stuff. Cousin and I. The picture above and below are actually taken way back our Kazam's and...

Nailed It. Flower Girl.

Image
My mom actually got me two of this kind. Like, different colors of course. LOL. This is how it comes off. Quite accurate. Thanks to my mom's flowers for this sort of matching effect. Awesome, aye? But then I didn't like it that much so I of course thought of topping it with glitters. Like, as always. This is how it looks like now. That's all! :)

Jeepney Rant.

Image
source I know jeepneys are convenient and all that but sometimes I don't really understand. Okay maybe not the jeepney itself. The people, the driver, everything else. It's just so annoying sometimes. Like, really. Let me just point out some of the things that I hate about riding a jeepney. 1. I hate it when the people would extend their arms and address it to the driver when it's obviously not feasible for the driver to get their fare directly. Ano ba naman yung sabihin mong paki-abot diba? It really annoys me when people would say "bayad mama" and then put their arms in my front and don't say anything after that. So ako na pala yung driver? I mean, as a normal human being, hindi po hahaba yang kamay mo. So say "pakiabot" naman. 2. This is kind of related to the first one is that when you obviously made an effort na iaabot yung bayad sa driver and then this person who asked for your help don't even say thank you. Like, are you seriou...
