Old Friends

Image
Kid at heart Dad’s friend dropped us near here and because we were kind of early still, we went to the nearest 7/11 first, then Lawson, and kind of passed by this playground. I mean, nothing much. Just stopped by to take Insta photos.  I can’t explain how thankful I am of this fam. So it’s just right to pay them a visit, right? Also, my boy Tora is just so big now! I’m surprised he still remembers me. I mean, like he still remembers our closeness and stuff. He wasn’t a bit shy when he saw me.  I don’t really have much to say. It’s been more than a year since I saw them and stuff. Loads of catching up happened and yeah, this is my family away from family when I was in Japan. Forever grateful! Sagamiono Station We took some photos at the station and normally, I wouldn’t but yeah I don’t really know when I’ll be back again so I took some with the mother dear. That’s about how our day went. A day well spent if you ask me. Adios!

My Beloved Japan

Image
I admit. I thought I wouldn’t be back for a while but goodness gracious it was good to be back for a while. I was in Japan for 12 days and man, it was awesome! Couldn’t be any better. Actually it could! I wish my sisters were with us. I went with my mom to take care of errands and stuff and overall, I would say it was a very productive trip considering. Our first day was the busiest I guess. We went straight to the city pension office and got to finish what we needed to (in a way). I won’t really tell you what we did there because 1, it’s boring, and 2, I don’t really know how to translate it properly myself so better not say anything, right? But it has something to do with my dad passing away and the pension has to be transfererred to my mom. Yup. It was a lucky day for us because having told that the next available schedule is in 3 weeks, we were able to finish the whole thing in like 3 hourd I guess. Thank you, Japanese Peeps for being so helpful and efficient. Anyways, after the lo...

28!

Image
Halo! I’m 28 now. I mean, it’s all going too fast for everyone don’t you think? Well maybe especially for me. But anyways, I don’t want to focus on the bad now don’t I? Let’s just see how I celebrated my birthday.  yummy food surprise cake at work I first celebrated with my co-workers because I celebrated at my work place on the 13th. Given that I spend almost everyday of my life at work, it’s really nice that I have them to celebrate with. For some reason, I felt really great to have celebrated with each and everyone of them. family with Tess  Second day, I celebrated with the fam! I can have it delivered at home but I thought, when was the last time we all ate at a proper table? Like, when was the last time I spent time with my fam, right? With work being hella crazy, I thought this would be the perfect time. Straight fro duty  Ate way too many seafood! Third day we spent at Dad’s Buffet with one of my dad’s friend sponsoring the dinner. I overate and all but you only t...

First Case Confirmed

Image
Confirmed. Probably not the first case per se but first reported case anyway. It’s scary of course because on the way to the hospital, there are a lot of people that encountered this lady and so they might be a carrier of the virus too. Health Care workers, hospital employees, patients at the hallway, and the like was exposed to the virus and it’s just scary how fast the virus will spread. It’s just untimely because this virus cannot really survive intense heat but it’s currently colder here in the Philippines. I see a lot of comments about the Chinese tourist situation here in the Philippines. I mean, we can't blame them and I bet we would have done the same. I just hate that sometimes, people can be really selfish and harsh with their words well in fact, we could all be a little kinder with our words and just think how we could better express our thoughts. This is the first case but definitely not the only case in the Philippines. I mean, they have at least looking at 18 persons ...

20/20 Vision

Image
It’s been 2 years since I got my vision back to normal. It’s probably the best decision I’ve made in this life. Also, the rhinoplasty but yeah I might have it fixed again in the future but yeah two modifications that I did in my body is the best decision I’ve made in my life so far. I’m just happy that I get to see everything much clearly hassle free. I used to wear contacts and it’s not very nice. If you are inexperienced like me, you might feel like you’re scraping part of your eye each time but oh well. I will miss 2019 because it was a year of failure, adventure, lessons, love, and dreams. I hope 2020 will be better. Now before I say goodbye to it for real, let me just post this one last time. Also, it’s relevant because I went to this country with a 20/20 vision. Ha! STAR CITY, PHILIPPINES NARA, JAPAN HONG KONG DISNEYLAND NAMI ISLAND, SOUTH KOREA 2020, am I right? It’s scary to be honest. With all the news about World War III and stuff. I don’t know if it’s safe in the US or like ...

Starting 2020 With a Blog

Image
Would it be too much if I blog everyday for 2020? Yup. It’ll be too much. Anyways, we lit up some firecrackers and blow torotots to cast away bad spirits as the elders would say. It changed, you know. This way of celebration greatly differs from how we used to celebrate the new years. Most of our doings became illegal to start of but yeah we used to light up really dangerous fireworks and stuff which I was never a fan of to be honest. I just like the soft lights and stuff. Mass at Sto. Domingo church We attended Mass just like we used to but we didn’t watch a movie or something. We used to watch another movie during New Year but yeah I’m kinda okay we didn’t because there’s actually no more movie that I want to watch from the MMFF entries. Well Miracle in Cell No. 7 but we probably won’t because my mom doesn’t want to watch stuff like that. Would just want to watch comedy all the time.  After the mass, we ate at Peri-Peri. We had chicken and ribs. It was okay but not really extra o...

あけましておめでとう!

Image
2020. End of another decade. I mean, I know it’s all going too fast but man, this year passed by like a breeze. I have stayed in the Philippines for like 11 months now. I have been working for 6 months now and yeah, time just went by like that. I have so many things to be thankful for. I have been in 4 countries in one year. I mean, that’s the life, right? I can’t wait to be in 5 next year! I’m just kidding. Wait, am I? LOL. You know what though, I think I want to visit all the provinces in the Philippines because, I’m already here, right? Might as well! I’m gonna be 28 this year. Like, 28, ladies and gentlemen. OMG. Can I just share that it’s my first time tasting this and yeah not a fan. It’s too spongy for me. I feel like I can have something better at a cheaper price, you know what I mean? That’s all! I won’t be having resolutions because I always fail. One thing I would like to do is to drink lotsa water I think. My SGOT and SGPT levels are on the roof! Also my triglycerides! I ca...
