You need to calm down. Now!

T Swifts new music video is giving me life RN. I love Katy Perry but I guess my teenage heart still screams Taylor Swift. I’m glad their beef is over. At the end of the day, they’re both rich and powerful so I guess it’s better to live their own lives. The music video though! So colorful. Love it. I actually thought that this isn’t a thing I would do anymore but I can’t let this one go. It’s soo good! I like the lyrics too! So catchy. It’s nice and empowers everyone in a sense so...nice.  Trailer park though. I mean, it would be a good theme for a food park or something, don’t you think? Like airbnb style. Or like the Common Ground in Seoul. Anyway, I digress.  I think I haven’t gotten any music videos that I liked lately so having liked something like this is giving me the feels. That’s all! Must blog! I’m not a big fan of the hair though. But it’s very theme-y so still nice. It’s nice that music videos are coming out here and there because for a h...

Shikimikie Chicken Adobo Recipe

Image
Chicken Adobo! The picture above is filleted part usually used for karaage but I also used drumstick and I think cooking a chicken part with bone rather than the filleted one is much better when it comes to the overall experience of eating adobo.  First, I sauteed the garlic with the chicken and red chili. If you don't like chili, you can obviously just skip that part. Then, I added equal parts of soy sauce and vinegar. The scary part. I usually don't like my adobo salty so I tend to put more vinegar than soy sauce. My kapampangan friend told me that the kapampangan style of cooking is that they only use the soy sauce for color and that adobo is actually supposed to be cooked with vinegar hence the adobong puti concept. Added sugar because it was too salty. Japanese soy sauce is salty I guess.  let the vinegar cook Also added boiled egg because, why would you do adobo without? I'm just saying. Yummy!

Oh SM, you didn’t!

I mean, it's bad. We watched Aladdin last week at the SM near our place because we were also supposed to watch a band play (but didn't) so instead of going to Fisher Mall, SM. When my sister was about to pay, she was like, are we getting food and drinks? And I was like, nah we’ll just get something from somewhere else and my other sister was like, I don’t think they still allow that and showed me the poster. Oh they didn't.   See, my childhood cinema experience consist of us getting a 150-180 movie ticket and getting something to eat and drink from the supermarket. Usually it will costs us around a hundred or even less than that but we got varieties! When I saw the poster, I was like, shookt. I mean, how dare they! I looked at the menu and since I don't want anything from there, I decided we eat first before going to the cinema. Then I asked my sister how would they find out if I take something in? And she was like, they'd check your bag. THEY DID INDEED...

Diamond in the Rough

So...I watched Alladin the other day. It was soo nice. I mean, I actually watched the Disney Animation 3 days ago and saw a review that it’s the exact same so if you’re reading this right now, hear me out. Don’t. Or don’t like read online reviews at all. It usually almost always ruins everything. Anyways, the movie was sooo dreamy! If you have the means, do watch! My Disney heart was so happy! My only complaint is that it was too dark for me. Literally. The animated version was kind of dark for me too so yeah. I don’t know. If you’re gonna watch, I suggest you watch in 3D. I noticed they have a lot of scenes that would be awesome if in 3D. You’re welcome. I am sooo looking forward to all the Disney live movies upcoming. I heard they’re already casting for MULAN which is my favorite Disney movie ever. I’m so excited!! The Lion King which I already know would be epic! Frozen, which I am so curious about. Toy Story 4, mmmm. I know it would be great but uhm. I don’t know. I kind of set my ...

Season Endings

Salamat, Kapitana I can’t be any sadder that my university lost the championship this year. UAAP Season 81, you’ve been so good. Thank you very much. I’ve started supporting the UST growling tigresses just a year before I entered the university. I’m just so proud. So proud. It was during the times of Aiza Maizo, Ortiz, and Rhea Dimaculangan. I continued watching until about graduation, I guess. I started watching the girls again shortly after I came back from Japan. Lucky because that’s about the start of the season. I effin watched every game. Every. Game. And everyone was aware that they can’t reach me when I’m watching my games.  The other day was the last game of the season. Last game of Sisi Rondina, which I’m very fond of. And the libero Riviera, my sister’s friend’s girlfriend I think. I have to admit though. It could have been a lot better. The girls weren’t playing confidently I guess. Probably NERVES. Which I understand. I mean, Ateneo is a more experienced team when it c...

Ping's Christening!

Image
I wasn’t able to take a solo picture with Ping the day of the Christening so I’m just gonna recycle this one.  The Family Let me tell you a funny story. So...my mom, who is in Japan actually told us to leave our place at 9 so that we could be able to accomodate traffic. So we did. We arrived there 10. Great. The celebration’s at 12:30 but that’s alright!  We started eating before the hosts even came. Barbaric, I know.  Food I ate so much. I had like two full plates of the SNAIL. It was sooo good! Also enjoyed their kare-kare and everything else. I had so much vegetables as well!  Family The Giveaway That’s it! Congratulations tita and tito! And well done, Ping!

I voted. That’s right. I wasn’t prepared at all. I decided I would vote just 2 days prior the national election but that doesn’t mean I know less than most of you who was prepared for it. I can tell who’s got a clear intention of serving the people! My goodness mas mukhang pinag isipan ko pa nga yung mga boto ko kaysa sa mga bumoboto talaga.  I voted 2 national elections ago so I thought they wouldn’t have my name on the list but voila! I was so lucky to be able go check my name online, in the comfort of my own home rather than to go there and not find my name and be disappointed, you know what I mean? I feel so sorry for the older people who can’t find their precincts. Can I just say? My goodness, the school I was assigned to is not  very tita friendly. The stairs are too steep for my liking. Also, my lolo almost slipped near the stairs because of the wax they’re putting there, I guess.  NOT COOL! But the voting process was actually very quick and I don't think cheating ...
