Seoul Day 2 | Hanbok/Tongin Market

Image
I don’t think I’d ever wear Kimono outside. Wouldn’t I though? LOL so anyways went these girls that I am on this trip with but just met that day. Basically, one of them I went to the same university and one is her friend. Didn’t feel strange at all! Is that weird? It’s as if we knew each other all along. We had breakfast in this normal bakery cafe before renting because we were kind of hungry. Went to the renting place next. Man, the variety blew my mind!! I went for the classic looking. Yas! We rented it for 2 hours I think. Or 3? I can’t remember. We then went to the palace. If you’re wearing hanbok, they actually wave the fee to enter the place. We took so many pictures!! Josie and me Palace I like how we all have different color combination going on. Will definitely try the pastel one next time!  I have no idea but I think this is where the king used to sit.  After that, we went to this place and ate lunch. Okay so we were supposed to eat breakfast here but it was closed. ...

Seoul Day 1 | Museum/Bukchon

Image
Hello, Korea! It was hella cold. Okay, thank Sue Ramirez for the weather update and all that but Seoul in winter is cold as hell. Not that I would know but...you get the point. I actually packed a lot of warm clothes because I’m prepared like that. Haha! My first day in Seoul was wonderful! I got to explore the city like I did with my friend Pring before. It was as if I never left.  I first went to the hotel and rested there for a bit. Unpacked my stuff, settled, and may have napped a little bit. I actually booked the same hotel as before too!  Palace After resting, I decided this is it. Time to explore! And I did. Oh me and my high heels girl! But whatever, you know! I planned to go to Bukchon Village first but on my way there, dropped by The National Folk Museum as well. It was awesome!  It was not as pretty as it was on Spring though. No flowers. But it gives it character. The emptiness. Museum I don’t even know. Found this one while I’m finding my way to the village. ...

Archie Is Dead

Image
Oh you found me. Now, let me tell you something about this. I don’t know. But would they kill Archie? I don’t actually think he is dead but hey.  I know he lost a lot of blood and stuff but you know...TV magic. If he’s really dead though, I can live with it. I mean, I don’t think Archie’s role is important nowadays. I mean, Hiram is after him, sure. Then what else? Hiram will probably get him killed anyways so...I’m just saying. That’s all!

I got SCAMMED in Seoul!

Image
So, please don’t panic guys. I’m not a hater or something. I am still a fan of South Korea. So...one thing I’ve noticed is that...they take advantage of your innocence. That wouldn’t happen in Japan. Or so I think of course. I’m sure there are some unfortunate  souls out there who have experienced the horror of this world (in Japan).  As you would know, I went to South Korea with some friends and yeah, it’s unfortunate that this kind of thing happened. Coz I really like Korea.  First, we went to this market where you can exchange your old coins to goodies and yeah well there was this ONLY ONE stall that asked for the coin twice. Well, to be fair to that lady, I actually gave the coin, asked for the food, and then she asked for the coin. It would be common sense not to ask for the coin again madaam. Then! This! So we were 4 people splitting the bill, yeah? Each of us gave the exact amount needed for the meal but when the counter lady counted it, it’s missing 10,000 won. No...

Xmas/New Year’s Party

Image
I went to Hidemi’s place to celebrate and it was a blast. On Christmas day, it’s just the 4 of us but we were still happy. I also spent the night there and went home the day after. Soo fun that I was able to celebrate my probably last Christmas in Japan for a while. Hatchimal thingy. It was fun watching them chant some inspirational words for the egg to crack open.  Merry Christmas, everyone! New Year’s Sukiyaki Party It was sooo delicious! And soooo filling! Man, I will miss eating food like this when I get off here.  Tora! Will probably be a proper teenager when I see him again. Oh my my. Bless you boy!  That’s all! I have quite a few posts left. Like, 8. Will do my best to finish it all! Happy New Year, guys! May this year be a fruitful one! No more hate. Me, I will try my best to let go of everything I think is not good for me in the long run. No more decisions that are selfish, unsure, and out of the blue. I will be more careful this year. I will try harder this year...

Yebisu Illumination 2018

Image
Yebisu. I actually thought of going because it’s conveniently near and somehow on the way. I usually enjoy going here because there’s usually a Christmas Carol thingy going on but without it, it’s pretty much just like the last time. No new vibe or something.  Ebisu Now that I don’t work in Tokyo anymore, it’s kind of new for me to travel from home to here and not having a mid place. Oh well. I miss Harajuku.  This one tells us that there’s a new bulb hanging around because like last year’s blog, one additional bulb or whatever it is this year. My first illumination this year. Kind of the case for most of my illuminations, I think. Kind of. Well like I said, just for the convenience of it. I should have went when they’re doing the carols. This one is beautiful. I should get something like this at home. Hahaha and do the same concept! Oh my. I’m a genius.  Selfie The Giant Tree Happy Holidays!
