Wrath of Hell

June 19, 2013 0
Wrath of Hell

I always liked the rain. But in times like this, it can get really annoying. Yesterday, I went to probably the most craziest journey on my own. So our class ended at like 7:10 pm or longer instead of 7:00 pm because our instructor told us to stay and that we could take advantage of the time and continue on with the topic instead of just waiting downstairs and wait for the rain to stop and doing nothing. So yeah. Anyways, I went to the place where I usually ride, right? Then after probably 30 minutes of waiting in the rain, I finally thought I would just take a different route and would just walk to the train station (not very far anyways) but VERY DANGEROUS! Imma tell you something at the end. So when I reached the Train Station, the lines are mega  long and worst is since there are what look like 3 lines, there are quite a lot of people who got in earlier than those who actually fell in line. Nakakahiya naman sa kanila. So can I just say that setting that aside, I'm quite proud of the progress of the LRT protocol because they cut off people from entering now and would just allow a certain number amount of people in so that there would be "enough" (still not quite) space for people to enter and the next station and the station next to that. I guess 10 trains passed by before I was actually able to go in which I didn't mind at all because that might be worse if they didn't imply that new policy. When I was able to enter, my umbrella fell and it's like Newton's Law of Motion was happening and that there's no chance for me to pick up the umbrella and the girl behind me was like, sorry I can't pick it too but fortunately, the girl waiting to get in was able to pick it up and give it to me. Mega thankful! Thank you again ate! Whoever you are. Call me sexist or whatever but I super hate it when boys call me ate when they're obviously older than I am. I forgive when it's 50-50 chance that it'd be the case but those 40 plus looking guys are unforgivable. I also forgive if it's somehow very sincere but those pervs! UGH. So whatever.  What happened inside the car was like, the funniest experience of the night, it's funnier yesterday but Imma tell it  still anyways. There's someone who brought an electric fan and normally, people would be annoyed and irritated but after a while, people were like, "open it na ate." because we're like super crowded and it's super hot inside and then I was just observing and laughing (when necessary) and one thing I have proved (from yesterday and internship) is that students from different school are way too sociable than people from my school. But anyways, that girl (bless her) is too funny man. She's actually a head taller than us. Well for me at least and she was like making jokes and being friends with the girl holding the electric fan and she even volunteered to hold the electric fan for a short while. Anyways. That happened.

And then awhile ago, our class is supposed to be at 1 pm and then probably at 1:30, the office people told the late comers that our instructor wouldn't make it (as always) and then those late comers shared it to us who are already in, right? And then what happened was at 2, the office made it official. But I'm really glad today happened. Because my schoolmate which I'm always with left earlier and decided not to attend the 5-7 class already but that's not the good point. And so when I was left alone, a girl approached me and we can say that I gained a friend. Just a little background, she's from Mindanao and her fate is kind of the reverse of mine because she actually took nursing for 2 years and shifted to medical technology and yeah. She's Muslim, friendly, and very funny! I am actually very excited to have a friend from other parts of The Philippines and yeah. Okay so the reason why that place is dangerous is that one of my high school friends already had an experience in that place and the other day, the schoolmate I was talking about experienced it. Totally different though because my high school friend got hurt but what happened to my school mate is that she felt like there's something on her backpack and when she turned her head, she saw that a girl is holding the zipper of her bag's small pocket and then she just pretended she didn't see anything and just left the scene. Which I personally think is the best thing to do. And then awhile ago, she said that the girl is still there and was following another person. Anyways. That's all I have to share guys. Good vibes.

On another note, as much as I loved Andrea Begley's One of Us performance better during The Voice UK's Live Shows, I'm still sad that Karl Michael had to leave the show.

The Voice UK Season 2. Yeah?

April 22, 2013 0
The Voice UK Season 2. Yeah?
So I am a little broken hearted because The Voice US's YouTube is limited to their countrymen and it's not available in my country so I didn't mind disregarding that shiz. Well, as much as I think Shakira's presence is such a lovely twist, and as much as I love Adam, well I think now is the perfect time and I would just appeal to whoever to please make it available outside your country please. Or not. Whatever. I hope The Voice Philippines (soon) and The Voice Japan (is there any?) wouldn't make its videos available to your country too! Just kidding. :))

The Voice UK Coaches
On other news, I think after watching The Script's Manchester Concert on YouTube, The Voice UK series 2 Episode 1 presented itself to me. The wand chooses the wizard, right? Okay. And so I watched it. What else? Not from their official YouTube though. I can't be so sure whether BBC made it available or what. Anyways, it doesn't matter. I have so far watched all the episodes that there is and what can I say? It kind of bothers me that they're working in unison sometimes in a sense that they're giving way for the other coaches to have an artist that they like. Which shouldn't be the case. You know, ADAM wouldn't let that happen. I understand that they just want the best for the singers there and that they just want them to be at the right person's but yeah I don't know how to feel about that but let's just leave them alone.

EXCUSE ME SELFIE! PEACE/THE VOICE/THE VOICE SEASON 2 - YOU CHOOSE! :)
I realized one thing why I like The Voice more than anything else. Or Audition wise at least. It's the family of the contestants. Say, American Idol, the family wouldn't know whether their relative got a ticket right away. I mean, they have to wait for them to come out the door, right? Whilst in The Voice, they would know right away. They would know while it's happening. It just makes me happy that I can see the family being supportive and all that. It makes me emotional a little bit. Family thing makes me emotional, I think. There's this particular contestant who hit me because she loves her grandma so much and her grandma is ill but was able to make it and was able to watch her audition and it's just nice that she dedicated her audition performance to her grandma. I love my grandma so I have a soft spot for that. Also, a lot of performances dedicated to someone they love so it's very nice.

LEAH MCFALL
As for my favorite contestant, I only have one in mind as of the moment. LEAH MCFALL! She reminds me so much of Melanie Martinez of The Voice US. I think this girl can sing better though. Or I don't know. She really nailed that Rita Ora song that I like (R.I.P.) so that adds up to it.

SISTER'S CHILDREN AND FRIENDS
GOOD VIBES! :)

I will go down with this ship.

I will go down with this ship.
Aren't they adorable together? You have to know that I fancy Danny so yeah and I support them. WTH am I saying here? LOL.

I'm just browsing random The Voice YouTube videos and I kept on playing their duet and yeah, I realized that I MUST HAVE THIS POST IN MY BLOG. As you may or may not know, I actually thought that BO (Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce) would win The Voice. But yeah, things happened.

Just a little background, I didn't know that she was a drug addict and was put into rehab. Wow. And then she was thankful  that she woke up and stuff like that. Well, good for her. Ugh, drugs. If she didn't recover from that disease of hers, then maybe there's no one to pair Danny to. And that's sad LOL.

For some reason, maybe because I am in the blood banking section of the laboratory now, I instantly saw her VEINS. WTF? LOLs. It's so prominent. I don't know if it's from drugs or whatnot.

Looking at Bo for the first time (during The Voice AUDITIONS), she doesn't really look healthy to me. Like, she's so skinny, her eyeliner is so dark, and stuff. But I like her. I don't know.

Okay. As I was saying, I SHIP them! Like, OTP!

They have this chemistry that electrifies me...whatevs LOL.

We should call them BO~NNY.

Bo Bruce!

June 09, 2012 0
Bo Bruce!
For some reason, I'm not really good at forecasting stuff. If you watched THE VOICE UK, great. If not, then just pretend you did. I actually guessed that BO BRUCE (woman in gray dress) from TEAM DANNY is THE VOICE. For some reason, I really really like her style of singing. It's just so...different. People often say that if you really have a good voice, then there's no need for you to do stuff that will make it even better. Let's get it straight though. I don't like people who do SO MUCH with their voice to the point where I feel like it's unnecessary. But for me, there are a lot of singers out there. And yes, a lot of good singers out there. Now, tell me how can an individual say that he/she likes a good singer an extra notch to another singer when they exactly sound the same? Get what I mean? So yeah.

If you don't know yet, LEANNE MITCHELL (woman in black dress) won the competition. I'm alright with that. I have nothing against her. She's actually good too. They're all good. It's just that WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN PREFERENCE.

And also! I realized that for some reason, my choices are those who are coached by a band member. I once predicted that Tony Lucca from Team Adam would be THE VOICE. And just recently, BO BRUCE from Team Danny. Coincidence or what? No idea. But thinking about it, I'd still pick BO whenever team she probably belonged. Thoughts?

The Voice UK vs USA. The Battle.

April 04, 2012 2
The Voice UK vs USA. The Battle.
Recently, I've been watching a show called THE VOICE. Like before, I've noticed YouTube stars promoting this and after one and another, I was like "AGAIN?" I was really annoyed, if you can't tell.

Then I don't know but recently, WOW I just got hooked like that. Oh why again? First of all, just the thought of Adam Levine , enough said. Then one time I searched for The Voice on YouTube and a UK version showed. And my whole world was like "WHAT'S HAPPENING?".

Let the battle begin!

I think the combination of the judges is just so fantastic in the US version. In the sense that, provided you're truly is a singer, there's a place for you.

Well, here in the UK version however, they sort of talk a lot when the blind audition is going on and I have this feeling that they kind of have an ideal singer. If that makes sense.  Like, they really do talk a lot (said that already) and I think in majority of the contestants, the judges feel the same, sort of.  In the US version, they sort of talk but not really to the extent of being that obvious. They rather stare at each other a lot.

Also, not that I am being racist or anything, I think I was just shocked when I saw Will.I.Am there. Isn't he American? But then I remembered Simon Cowell. ALL GOOD. What I like about the UK version is that they have a legend there (Sir Tom Jones). Well ,everyone's a legend. So never you mind.

Talent can't be judged so I won't be speaking about that but (yes, I will), I think as far as talent is concern, I like the blind audition performances of the US. Well, I can't tell because they're kind of showing off individually already in the US whilst still on the blind auditions in the UK.

LSS much.

April 03, 2012 0
LSS much.

I've been listening to Eminem's Lose Yourself pretty much all the time now. How come? It all started after I heard a guy named Max Milner did a mash-up of Come Together and Lose Yourself on The Voice UK. And my homeboy Danny of The Script kind of rapped on his seat. If that's not attractive to you, then I don't know what is.
