Suzuki Beach Club (Subic Bay)

Image
stop over It has been a tradition of our family to go to the beach when it's dad's birthday. This time is no exception. We went to Olongapo. Actually, we don't really go very far from the city. Years and years, we've been alternating Bataan, Batangas, Subic, and Olongapo.  We went to a resort called Suzuki. I think the owner is dad's friend of some sort. I'm not sure. Anyways, the view when we arrived blew me away.  Just look at that. Very nice. Not the best beach but the view of the mountains will surely sweep you off your feet.  They only have one pool there and it's more of like for kids but it did it for us. Also, I have no idea why they opted for Shrek when it's irrelevant. For me at least. Mika and papa just chilling. The landscape isn't anything grand but it's well maintained so that's okay too.  The sunset was a show. I mean, I saw breath-taking sunsets somewhere and this is not near any of those but you know, sunset is sunset, can...

More Pictures From Subic. A Look Back.

Can we just look back for a little while? Great. Let me just start with this. We had this as a baon for our Subic trip like, years ago. And just because it's Dukbokki, it actually attracted me. But it wasn't that good. It's just have the shape of the rice cake and basically, sweet and a little bit spicy. Although that's really how Dukbokki should taste like, it really doesn't taste like Dukbokki. Weird. I know. Anyways. Can I just say that my nail is love?  I'm really random at putting dots. LOL. I can't believe my Nail Dot made it this far. Bravo! I hope this kind of thing will be preserved. I mean, a lot of the things left to us are kind of damaged already so yeah. I hope things like this will remain like this in the future. I don't actually know if it's legal but we crushed the chips I'm holding in the picture to a very small pieces to feed the fishes. Look at my face for a second though. The sun is ...

Vista Marina, Subic. Review.

I don't know why, but for some reason, I really looked happy. I loved the trip because it made me realize that the Philippines, at some point, is not yet "that" polluted. And if only we can do something about it, then who knows? It may still be revived to its best. Sister and I posing under the sun. WHEW! Nice landscape I must say. After applying sunblock and all that protective stuff. The pool is really not very impressive. It is kind of small. Which I think is a good thing. Mainly to invite people to just go to the beach. But actually, the water is not very nice and all that. I really prefer the pool sometimes. But nevertheless, I did enjoy walking in the most shallow part of the bay. Even though I don't look like it. Waves! So we showered and went back to the pool. WIN! The places was generally nice. The hotel room, lobby and stuff. It's quite posh. Sorry for blocking the nice chandelier. Also, there...

Subic Camayan Resort 2010. A look back.

Image
This is how the outside looks like. I must say that there's definitely a big improvement! It has this classy thing going on. Way back 2007-2008, it's very much nicer. It was very lame back then, if you ask me. I know it's like 2 years ago but behold! Because I'll be doing 2 more blog post that's way much behind 2010 hahaha. Who cares? Outside the reception area. Definitely an awesome landscape you have there. Also! You can view the mountain and the beach from the bench.  Just noming on a bag of Cheetos  haha. Fvck my life. Hahaha. When we went there, I don't know if there's a science behind it but the water is really uber very salty. Ah! Less water = more salt. Why less water? Because it's dang hot in the Philippines and all the water probably evaporated. Yeah. Perfect.  And yup! My family. The room is quite nice! But like, so many ants and all that. Just on the door of the room though but I suspect that there are like a few in...
