First Snow of 2018

February 22, 2018 0
 First Snow of 2018

Better late than not at all. This happened January, 22, 2018 and ot snowed a couple of more times since then but hey! I guess it snowed more this year than last year. I’m not a fan of snow but hey, it’s pretty to take pictures with so there’s that. Unlucky me though, it poured whilst I was outside and working. Wrong timing.

Harajuku

Harajuku Station

Snow!

I decided to go to Shibuya afterwards because I didn’t really have any other places to go to.

yas

I went to Shibuhide (my fave ramen place) because it was so darn cold and I could use some ramen. For some reason, I only like the Shibuhide Ramen though. For some reason, I don’t like their other ramens all that much.

Sagamihara

I decided to walk around and take pictures around 11pm because my phone camera died when I reached Sagamihara so yeah.

The men/women who made this pathway should have an award.

First Snow in 54 Years

First Snow in 54 Years

Snow Selfie

The first November snow in 54 years. It happened November 24th this year. Like, wait, calm down Snow Fairies.

Although anticipated, I didn't think it would snow full blast. I kind of thought it was just gonna rain like it does most of the time when my weather app tells me it's gonna snow.

Sagamihara Station

Murphy's Law

Like seriously though. When I bring my bike to the station, something would come up. Like, the other day, there was an accident at my station and we stopped one station before mine and on normal circumstances, it's okay because I kind of live in between stations so I can just walk from there but since I have my bike parked at Sagamihara, it's a bit of trouble walking from there to the station and back to my home. I was worried. Thank goodness problems were resolved shortly. So yeah other times it would rain and stuff and yeah last time, snow.

Finding Earphones

Here's the story. I was looking for my earphones because I'm positive I dropped it somewhere but couldn't find it how hard I try. Bad luck!!!! It's like 3 weeks old palang. Sayang. Anyways, I try not to think about it. But still! 3450 yen is no joke. Meh.

Look of Despair

Anyways, yeah that was it. 54 years in the making. It was actually an amazing experience minus the earphones of course. I didn't experience snow last year so I feel like it's a greeting of some sort. Ciao!

Bits of my Life

Bits of my Life

This is how I look as of the moment. Apparently, my hair can be tamed. With lotsa oil of course. Well I guess it's somehow beneficial for my hair so I shouldn't be complaining. I seriously expected my hair to be wild. Sometimes even when I forget to soak it with oil, it's still kind of okay which is very surprising. My hair is coping up!!

When shopping for food earlier this morning, I bought this. I was actually looking specifically for that Calbee chocolate covered potato chips which I used to eat everyday (then got sick of) but they're kind of hard to find these days so when I saw this, I thought I'd give it a try. The choco powder you have to add on your own. I believe I have tried something similar just to the ring itself and I didn't really enjoy it and I thought adding something to it would make me like it, but no. It's a complicated flavor so I don't really know if I like it.

Breakfast!

Cheeseburger from 7/11. I bought this because someone I watch on YouTube said it's her favorite bento and I was like, must try!! I mean, it's okay but it's not as great as I thought it would be. But it was delish! Expectations.

Tart lovin'

On my way to work yesterday, I bought pastries (as I always do)  and I was like putting random stuff on my tray and this was included and I was like, what is this sorcery? I thought all along that those are leaves on top of it until awhile ago, I was so ready to eat leaves only to find out that those are strawberries. I haven't cross-sectioned a strawberry yet so I don't really have an idea how it looks like so yeah. Maybe it was designed, maybe it's just how it is? Nevertheless, it was a delicious treat.

Whatta beauty

I took this earlier this year and I've been wanting to share this with you all but I guess I didn't have a proper blog post for it but I can't just not share. I believe I've told you how amazing sunrise looks like here and yeah I really appreciate it and believe me when I say that this won't be the last photo of it that you'll see. Sorry not sorry.

Another throwback shot. I think Winter is ending now. This is how the mountains look like weeks ago.

This is how the mountains look like now. Gone too soon! That's all! See you.

And it snowed again!

February 01, 2015 0
And it snowed again!

Probably the third time we've experienced snow this year. The snow was quite unexpected. Although they did say at work that it was broadcasted, I still didn't believe it because my weather app told me otherwise. Damn you weather app. Although it did catch up later in the morning.

The bicycle parking area already accumulated snow after a few minutes.

One thing I didn't like about it is it's really dangerous walking thru this path. I really anticipated slipping but oh so glad it didn't happen. Paranoid.

I thought this looks pretty. If my mom were here, I would have actually seated there for sure.

It actually snowed harder this time than the last time.

I was biking and was literally eating snow. Is that bad? Girl I was legit hydrated when I got home. LOL.

From afar, it looks like there's some Hanami going on and it was really really beautiful.

Obligatory selfie

Winter Wonderland

The snow in the afternoon. I anticipated to slip even more this time but thank goodness, really.

Snow everywhere

I don't know what really happened to this but it sure was unfortunate.

I therefore conclude that the only thing I like about snow is that it's white everywhere. Really peaceful to look at. The cold makes my body numb though. Like, I had to place my palm in front of the heater to be able to feel it again. I was even kind of struggling to open my door like, fact.

Fave shot

Selfie yet again

Vandalism

The aftermath. I didn't notice the beauty of the snow that much but the sunset though. Beautiful!

Let it Snow! Japan 2015.

January 06, 2015 4
Let it Snow! Japan 2015.

January 1st, at around 12 in the afternoon, it snowed. I know. You know with "rain" it's kind of a blessing and it's like welcoming 2015 with a bang. Anyways, it only rained for an hour and thought I'd share pictures with you guys. I basically took these because my family back in the Philippines were asking me in December whether it's already snowing so I thought I'd snap and send them these as well. Which I already did by the way.

It's actually not snowing everyday yet so it was more of like the first and last snow of the year so far. I mean, we're just a week ahead of 2014 aren't we? But anyways. You get the point.

Selfie! Why, of course. Those are not dandruffs though. Snow. LOL. I love how my top matches what's happening.

The day after, it kind of left a trace but then again the day after that, it all melted down. See you soonest, snow.

Happy New Year!! As if I haven't greeted you guys tons already. Yay.
