Day 2 | Everland

November 21, 2019 0
Day 2 | Everland

Our second day is dedicated to Everland. Because why not. Both my previous Korea trips only consisted either one of these two. It’s the first time I tackled both. It was fun but exhausting.

Snack Time First As Always!

Here’s what we had for lunch! It was delicious.

Because of the long queue we weren't able to visit the zoo/Safari so maybe next time!

Anyways, we weren’t able to ride as much as we like to because it was sooo crowded!! We were kind of unlucky on that part. BUT! We were able to ride the T-EXPRESS! Which I swear we were already ready to let go but thank goodness we didn’t because it was hell of a ride! I like it! It may be one of my favorite rides ever!

BLOODEH

They had a mini zombie escape thingy at a secluded area and my goodness it was crazy. They don’t even care about your privacy you know! They’d be pulling your bag and stuff.

Also one of the places I like is this. The tunnel of something. So interesting because the bulbs are either filled with flowers or like a letter so yeah. So nice.

My favorite snack ever! EVERLAND CORN IS JUST THE BEYST. I can’t even explain it you know.

More snacks!

Oden!

They had the castle lit up that time. I don't actually remember seeing this last time.

The parade was fantastic of course. One thing I wish they did was the fireworks. I remember it being the highlight of my Everland trip before. They also closed that four seasons thing for some reason so we weren't able to take cute pictures! Not that we have time to spare though but you know! That’s all!

Day 1 | I Seoul You

November 18, 2019 0
Day 1 | I Seoul You
This is the most hectic day of our 5 day stay in South Korea. Also, this is where I kinda squeezed in all the places I’ve already been to before! But! It’s true what they say! Being with a different person to the same place brings you a different perspective. The first day was Hanbok, Seoul Tower, and Hongdae day. We lived in Myeongdong area so I already know that we can just walk our way to Cheonggyecheon and the Palaces so that’s what we did. It was sooo far! I didn’t put into consideration that we were 10 minutes away from the extreme end of Myeongdong. Which we survived by the way. I can’t say the same for my shoes.

So we stopped at the stream which I will always have a soft spot for. We didn’t take much pictures though or stopped for more than 20 minutes because it’s that kind of place. You just pass by it for some reason.

We walked our way to the palace, ate our breakfast/lunch at the 7/11 cafe which was so nice and rented Hanbok. We actually didn’t go to Bukchon Hanok Village anymore because we’re on strict schedule and we woke up late because of our very late arrival at the guest house the evening prior. Anyways, we found the Hanbok rental shop we were looking for, chose our dresses, and went to the palace! It was refreshing.

We took loads of photos of course and then we went to Myeongdong! This time near the meeting place for our Seoul Tower trip and had bibimbap!

Namsan Tower

It's a Small World!

Gorgeous. I think it's my second time here and it's just as pretty as I remember it to be.

MIKIE AND MIKA

Seoul Tower was fantastic. I like it. Maybe the same level as how I like the Tokyo Tower even. I don’t know. Something like that. We took loads of photos and headed back down. Went home to put on a proper coat and headed to Hongdae! I might actually just stay in Hongdae on my next Seoul trip! Now! I know I already told you I’m not coming back to Korea before but maybe. Just maybe. I would probably want to utilize my Everland visit next time. Fireworks and all! Or maybe Lotte World too! That’ll be cool.

As I was saying, Hongdae. We weren’t able to have chicken like I originally planned to but we had the best Korean barbecue! Me likey. We were also able to watch street performances which was cool. So yeah.

We had this chicken which ACSLIFE recommended! It was good! Can I just say that Hongdae is sooo lit! I like it! Although I remember it much prettier in WINTER with all the lights and stuff! That’s all!

When in Seoul

May 04, 2016 0
When in Seoul

As we all know, I have been wanting to go to Seoul ever since I can remember. What was that? 2009? Yes! I've waited that long and I ain't backing up you know. We were actually supposed to go August but yeah we kind of went earlier than planned but it was very much needed so, yeah. Not complaining. Very timely for I am in a situation where everything's kind of a blur.

Narita Terminal 1

I have planned a 4-day trip to the city and here's my run down of the events. I will be posting a somehow in depth story of this though. But give me time, people! Hahaha

 Best Western Hotel

Migliore Mall

Anyways, Day 1 was okay. We left Narita at around 5 and arrived in Incheon National Airport at around 8. The bus guide dropped us to the hotel and we wasted no time and we went to this shopping place at Dongdaemun. After going up and down the shopping place, we then had dinner. It was okay. At this point, we were not really hungry but managed to eat anyways haha. Also, after some ikot-ikot there, totally out of the plan, we went straight to Ittaewon because we wanted to see the night life of people.

Bukchon Hanok Village Deck

This Might be of Importance

Day 2 was the busiest day for us. We went to the palaces, War Memorial, National Museum, Seoul Tower, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun again.

Lotte World

Day 3 we allotted to LOTTE WORLD. But somehow we managed to go to Dongdaemun again. I actually like Myeongdong more than Dongdaemun but you know, complications.

Cheonggyecheon Stream

Day 4 was our last day. It was sad. But we managed to check out the Cheonggye Plaza and Stream before bus picked us up and dropped us to the airport. So that happened. It was overall a good trip. I can't wait to be back! Soon, please! Ciao!
