Lotte World VS Everland

December 19, 2019 0
Lotte World VS Everland
So if it's your first time in South Korea and you're on limited time, it's wise to actually just pick one because a trip to this place could take up a day of your travel. I mean, unless you don't really like rides and just want to check the place out but also, why bother visiting? I have been to these places twice. So I guess I can impart my knowledge to everyone. Question mark.

So here’s a short comparison of Lotte World and Everland.

LOTTE WORLD

EVERLAND

1. Location

Lotte World is way more accessible than Everland. In my understanding, you can either ride the train, bus, or taxi when you want to go to Lotte World. Everland, I’m not so sure because the two times I went there, we rode a tour/shuttle bus.

EVERLAND

2. Food

I find Everland better than Lotte World when it comes to food. I didn’t really see a lot of options in Everland and quite a lot of options in Lotte World but yeah. I think Everland has better and easier access to food. ALSO, can we not forget about the corn! THE BEST CORN I EVER HAD IN EVERLAND and probably the worst in LOTTE WORLD.

3. Rides

Everland has more exciting rides than Lotte World I think. But I actually used to like Lotte World than Everland but now, I like Everland better I think. T-Express for the win!! I mean, it’s worth the 100 minutes of waiting time. For Lotte World though, ATLANTIS ADVENTURE. But yeah, I liked T-Express. We actually almost missed it because I was like, meh let’s just skip this.

4. Parades

I don’t know anymore. I think I used to like Lotte World’s parade and programs but Everland’s concerts and short programs are leveled up and I like it better now. The light parade is better at Everland I think.

5. The Vibes

LOTTE WORLD

EVERLAND

I actually like the vibes of Lotte World better. It's more compact therefore you can see the action more closely than that of Everland. Also, can I just say that the uneven ground/mountainous setting of Everland makes it very hard for oldies like me to enjoy so yeah.

Day 3.1 | Nami Island and Lunch!

November 24, 2019 0
Day 3.1 | Nami Island and Lunch!

I was soo excited for this trip because it’s the first time I’ve been and it was soo beautiful. It wasn’t in its full autumn glory though but the whole vibes is definitely there, you know.

In order to reach the main island, one must ride a ferry for like 5 minutes or so. It was a rather smooth ride and yeah it's a very effective sell of the island. Also! Can I just say that Nami Island is supposed to be looked at as its own country because 1, you have to have a passport (not your own) to get in the island and 2, they have their own currency which I didn't see and 3, they have their own flag.

The trees are not that pretty anymore. Already have a lot of fall and it's almost prettier up than down.

sisters

I definitely love the colors of nature!

The maple trees are soo beautiful though! It makes up for the not so good color of other trees!

Snack Time!

The Picturesque spot at the middle of the island!

We only spent like two hours here which is not enough considering we have to find a perfect tree for pictures. Also, so many people which is part of the struggle but overall it was fun! I just wish we have like an extra hour to really maximize the use of the island.

Goodbye, Nami! I’ll have to see you again when I see yah!

After Nami Island, time for lunch! The lunch was awesome! I like it!

Add the rice and cheese on top and voila! Deliciousness! That's all for the Nami ISLAND post guys!

Seoul Day 6 | Myeongdong/Cheonggyecheon/Airport

February 02, 2019 0
Seoul Day 6 | Myeongdong/Cheonggyecheon/Airport

It’s the magic of the morning. I kinda look nice for an unedited pic. No? As always, it’s just me.

Not so magical anymore but whatever

Walked alone this stream coz I know this would be the last day and I can’t be slacking at my hotel. I was tempted to though.

They have illumination going on in broad daylight girl. I was like, what is this sorcery? But you know, they still don’t do much at night. Probably just testing things out still.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Cute

Again, missed the lit up version.

Walked my way to Myeongdong to find more skin care stuff and you know! Again! Did I spend more than I should? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. HAUL AFTER THIS.

Ordered SOONDAE! SO DELICIOUS!

Liver and lungs! Yas! SOOO GOOD!! The first two soondae that I had didn't have organs but this one is sooo lit! Also, they have takeaways so I just sat in the middle of Myeongdong and ate this. Didn't want to spend time inside the restaurant sitting.

I ate rice cake sausage here. Was actually supposed to eat the same food that I had in DDM but was given a different version but oh well. Not bad! I guess they have a different name for those two different food so whatevs. It was still delicious! Also, they have free oden soup!

Mari coz you know! My sister’s name

They were kind of good

The drink was heaven! EVERYONE SHOULD TRY IT!

Hello, Tokyo!

That's all guys! I think my next trip to Korea would probably be to Busan because I think I've seen a lot of Seoul already and that I am ready to move on so yay! Can't wait. Besides from having an auntie there, I actually don't know what to expect. Oh well! Thank you everyone!

Seoul Day 4 | Haneul Park/Shopping

January 30, 2019 0
Seoul Day 4 | Haneul Park/Shopping

Seolnongtang, Haneul Park, DDP, Dongdaemun, and Myeongdong. First, Haneul Park.

The place where we went to eat the food. We kind of waited for like 20 minutes to get in. I wonder why.

cool ambiance though

yas

This is what you see even before you get seated. Cool that they’re efficient.

The seolnongtang place that we went to is in Hongdae area. Not bad! Although not something I would want to have again because of it’s very plain flavor. It’s just me guys don’t panic.

Haneul Park

Interesting for photos but ya know, probably not somewhere I'd go to. It may seem like all I do is complain but trust me I am very thankful for the tour.

who would have thought?

Haneul Park. Talahib in tagalog. Yes bes. Talahib. I don’t know why we went but it was fun! Picture galore! Thank you Josie for being the most creative photographer/person ever. I will never forget you.

I haven’t been to DDP so it was kind of refreshing in a sense. I don’t remember what we did there actually. I just remember eating soondae and oden but can't see a picture of it on my files. So yeah. What I know about this is that the designer is kind of famous and the Hong Kong girls wanted to see the place. I also know that they designed a university in the Philippines. Can’t pinpoint which and I don’t want to Google because I’m not that fake of a Blogger. Also not helpful of a Blogger. Hahaha

But I sure remember this. Yummeh!

Dongdaemun was okay. I don’t really have anything that I like there much I think. Like, been there done that.

DDM

coffee in DDM

Myeongdong was fun though!! Likey. I like Myeongdong for some reason. Did I spend too much? Maybe? Is it worth it? Hell yes. Collective haul soon!

DINNER

FOOD

For what it's worth though I think the food is decent.

YUMMEH

If you would remember, this is where we got “scammed”.

MYEONGDONG night market

Heaven

Lobster tail

I had to. It was alright.

Coffee. Just perfect to end the day.

That’s all. For some reason, before blogging this, I thought I wouldn’t have much to share but it turns out I have a lot of things to share. I mean, even just pictures and small details. Ciao!
