Roppongi Illumination 2017

Roppongi. I went with my co-worker Shella to Roppongi brcause you know, it’s one of the places I don’t dare go alone. Kind of.  We were kind of lost at first but the thing about illumunation in Japan is that you can get lost and still find something beautiful to appreciate. This green and red tree for example. The transition.  Then this already transitioned tree which is equally as beautiful! But you know, it’s probably just me.  We actually targeted two illumination spots in Roppongi and this is the first one. They had this show of something I can’t fully understand but it was beautiful.  It’s like the one in Shiodome but less magical. I’m so sorry Roppongi. It’s probably just me.  It was still beautiful though.  Roppongi Candle and Amber is the theme of Keyakizaka-Dori. I didn’t understand Candle because it’s just blue but they had Candle and Amber tree which makes a little sense.  Christmas Tree My Blogger Friend Tokyo Tower as usual was so beautiful...

Tokyo Tower is Love

We finally did it. We went to Tokyo Tower because I told Bry that it's been ages since I last went so after we watched the Hunger Games, we went to TT. For some reason, I know I have been here but I definitely have no memory of it whatsoever.  I don't know if it's like an everyday thing but when we went, they were having this food bazaar that we fully enjoyed.  Beautiful. I told Bry that if I see The Eiffel Tower I might cry.  We weren't able to take pictures of all the food so bare with me. What I'm eating here is grilled saba which was awesome! I think it's like 350/piece and like 1000/3 pieces but the man selling was kind enough to give us 2 each for the price of one. Awesome sauce. We also had this dashi udon which was nice because it was chilly that day. They come with daicon sushi which we survived to eat. Not really our cup of tea. I had to force Bry to eat his sushi. We also had karaage, grilled chicken, and taiyaki. So as you may know, we had a full s...

A Quickie in Roppongi

And no! It's not what you think it is. Actually, I don't remember the last time I went to Roppongi. I actually went to Tokyo Tower back when I was so little that I actually couldn't even remember what's up. And then I don't have a business to do in Roppongi anymore. Not when I was a child at least. Now that I'm of legal age, maybe. Just maybe.      Anyways, we went to Roppongi because my auntie wanted to show his grandchildren to a friend so yeah we did that.   They own this restaurant place. I don't know if it's an everyday thing but they do serve loads of Filipino dishes at noon. Eat all you can! By the way, thanks for sponsoring the lunch! :) I actually didn't pay because my auntie told me not to because apparently, whenever they go there, they don't as well. I'm thinking they're probably really good friends. Probably.   It was kind of a rush rush visit because I had to go somewhere after this. They actually tried to stop me from goi...
