Memory Corner | Flashback Friday 5

Image
Hi guys! This is Flashback Friday # 5 A.K.A "I LOVE MYSELF" LOL. 1. This is me with an ice cream cart. Not real of course. When my cousin and I went to Manila Ocean Park , we saw this at the second floor of the establishment and what else would we do? Take pictures of course! I love how Filipino themed the displays are. There's also a jeepney and some other stuff there. Will share that soon! Anyways, this cart is very popular in the Philippines. Like, someone would just push the cart anytime of the day and ring the bell and like inform you that there's a cart outside and stuff. Much like an ice cream truck but way too simpler. Actually, for some reason, they call it "dirty ice cream" I hope they're not dirty though. I think they're not dirty. As to why it's call dirty ice cream, I have no idea. Usual flavors are Queso, Ube, and Chocolate. 2. This. LOL. When we went to Starbucks , my cousin asked my bestie and I to make her a fan sign...

1. I wouldn't forget this because this is like taken during our first day in our second internship. I am with my good friend which I was with during the first internship as well. What happened is that our first post (hematology) is kind of being renovated that very time so our head staff is busy directing his people on where to place things so he explained that he can't orient us that day and we actually had to stay outside while the rest of our co-interns were being oriented on their respective posts so we  just took pictures of ourselves and yeah these are the outcome. 2. This is a friend's photo that I grabbed moments before our retreat and we  (thesis leader and I) weren't actually supposed to be in the frame but that happened. Basically, this very day, we were supposed to present the first part of our thesis but then again, I think 4/5 of our members are actually going out for retreat so the leader and I had to come up with good vibes scenarios and that we ...

Caleruega Photos! A Look Back (Sort of)

Image
Most of the pictures are pictures from my friends who are in the pictures as well. Thank you guys! For making me feel sentimental a little bit. These just have to be in my blog. LOL. I just miss everything. This is during one of our stop overs. I don't understand this picture very much but I look happy. Which is always nice.  My friend and I was taking pictures of people who were apparently taking pictures of us too. I don't own this photo but I'm glad this exists. You know, I know a person that takes a lot of pictures like, non-stop and he mentioned once that it's kind of not nice to take pictures of people who are prepared to have their picture taken all the time because what would they do? SMILE? Yup! But only for the camera. It's nice to take pictures of moments like this too. CANDID. And now the not so candid photo: LOL. FRIENDS! People I met during my internship and people I won't forget for like, forever. They're just awesome. T...

Retreat story. Tell it all! :)

As promised, here's my RETREAT STORY.  I actually had fun. I feel like I'm somehow a little bit better of a person than I used to be. Not because they forced me to or anything like that of course. Oh wells. So ergo! The fun starts here of course. OR NOT. I actually had a hard time packing stuff. Thing is I don't have a bag that's big enough for all of the stuff I brought. I didn't bring too much with me to be honest. So yeah. It's not that it was my fault or anything. We were told to bring clothes, some stuff, and all that. Except for food, I actually didn't bring anything so big at all. Like, yeah. But it's alright. I ended up carrying a BIG SHOULDER bag with me and a back pack. I actually changed bags at least three times and tried to get back to the previous and got back to the recent bag again. Paranoid much, I know. And it's not exactly light. But not actually heavy. Just enough. But still! Some people were looking at me...

Closer to nature.

Hi! I have been to a 3 days retreat in Caleruega, Batangas. Just a little something something. There are only two Caleruegas in the world. One here in the Philippines and the other one in Spain. The view is just fantastic. Like, so much fresh air going on. No phone signal though. Poor reception on most spots. I kind of felt bad for my mom because I wasn't able to reply to her messages on time and that I wasn't able to answer her call at some point. We actually had three speakers I believe but I'd be refering them three as "him" or "speaker" or whatever so don't be confused. There are quite a lot of things that I've learned from this retreat. I think I've said this before but like, to tell you the truth, I'm not really a religious-religious person. I don't think it's a good thing. I don't think it's bad. I don't think it's anything. It's just as simple as that. I don't know. I  just want t...
