YouTuber’s I’m Watching 2020

YouTuber’s I’m Watching 2020

 HEY MIKIE

Shameless self promotion. Anyways, I don’t really think I give any useful contents yet but I kind of try to capture beautiful sceneries so if you like that sort of stuff, you might enjoy the videos I’ve already put up. ANYWAYS! Given this quarantine thing going on, I’m watching sooo many YouTube videos you guys. I’ll share you my new discoveries. They’re not really new. Just new for me duh. I’m watching so many others of course. But yeah I see myself watching these people more nowadays.

Dale Philip

He may be too much for some but I love to watch him and listen to him talk. To be honest, I put him on the background while I’m doing something else and I feel like I can still see what he’s doing.

Harald Baldr

I’ve been watching this guy for a while. I like his style of vlogging to be honest. Very simple, complete, and very laid back. Also, he helps people once in a while which is always interesting to watch. Me likey. Can I just say that I ship these two! Yas!

The Best Ever Food Review Show

My favorite! Very well produced and generally more informative than other vlogs I’ve watched. I also like Sonny’s personality. His videos are very easy to watch. B.E.F.R.S indeed!

BNT Production

I’ve seen these fellas when they were just little. It’s kind of nice to see them bloom in a way. I like them as group and I like them individually. My top 3 is probably Aye, Limuel, and Jessica.

Riverdale’s Green-Eyed Monster

Riverdale’s Green-Eyed Monster

Sorry na. Anyways, I have a lot of stories to tell so leggo! First of all, Netflix’s Riverdale Season 2 Episode 1 is out (as of this writing) and it’s sooo nice!!  I mean, it’s soo good! Cheryl is sooo evil but I like it! I mean I wouldn’t do (IRL) half
the things she’ve done but I like her. I used to like Hermione Lodge but you know, she’s starting to get shady (NOT SO INNOCENT OF A PAWN) and I don’t like that darkness whatevs. Now the GREEN-EYED MONSTER. Seriously, that’s Mr.Cooper.
Maybe! It’s always gonna be Mr. Cooper, yeah? Hahaha or!! FP Jones. I don’t even know! Basta.

BloggerImage

What used to be my favorite chips are back! They were gone for 3 years!!! I was soo happy because you know, I saw them the morning I was gonna watch Riverdale and I was like, yas!!! They’re not as good as I remember but you know...for old time’s
sake. Sometimes we’re not gonna get why we’ve done certain stuff in the past or whatnot but hey~

BloggerImage

You know, it was one of my co-worker’s first salary pay-off and yeah she treated us for breakfast and cake. I got the モムブラン. Soo good! When I was a child, I always thought that only grown-ups would like that cake and yeah, maybe I was wrong.
That or I’m old. There are just a lot of Filipino thing that I don’t and probably won’t understand ever. BUT NONETHELESS VERY THANKFUL FOR. That’s all! Oh and I have also watched two other Netflix shows. American
Vandal where two student directors tried to defend a prankster by proving he didn’t vandalize the cars. And To The Bone which is about bulimia and anorexia. Well nothing too close to heart I guess except for the student film director
actor who looks like someone from the past. Not bitter. Anyways. Yun lang! Also, eat up!

Random Decemberness

Christmas in Hashimoto

Although this didn't happen in December, still sharing it now because I still think it's relevant and I'm not one for timely blog as of the moment so please bear with me. Thanks. LOL.

Would definitely be back for the Meat Lover series but for now, we had it in single meal kind of thing. Nice quality meat!

Selfie

Before this selfie, I had an interview for the US Air Force base job. Am I allowed to say that? No?

nuff said

I found this very vain Instagram account of my vain 19 year old self. I actually thought I cancelled this account already but nah. Feel free to WTF.

Also, Big Bang is back! I like FXXK IT better than Last Dance. I don't know much Korean (dunno at all) but I somehow translate Last Dance to Last Year. OMG is this farewell? I KID. Ciao!

Bonjour, August!

August 01, 2016 0
Bonjour, August!

It's Agosto, everyone. Time flies when you're having fun. Meh time flies in general and there's nothing I can do about it really so I think I just have to do what I have to do while I'm at it. I have nothing much stored this month actually. It's been very busy at work last month so whatever free time I may get, I want to use for rest/sleep/netflix. Also, I kinda want to go to Tokyo alone like I always did. I just confused myself there haha anyways.

Also, this is my new lock screen. It means ONE DAY AT A TIME in French. I think this is relevant considering we're halfway through with this year and I can't even recall what year we're in. I'm stuck at 2011, I guess? It's where I messed everything up so yeah. I don't like the weather all that much. It's messed up like my mind. This time last year, I didn't expect I'd go through the same thing again this year. Even worst this time, darling. But hey, just like the days, I must keep moving forward. Oh my goodness I think August is not my lucky month. Well July actually. It's where my bad luck happens and I get to suffer August. Oh.Good thing though that I get to start this month kind of rested because it's my kind of off. My goodness the boom boom pow of negativity in this post. But hey, the Pensieve hold some grungy memories too, yeah?

You know what? Can I just spend my life in Paris right now? For like a week? Anywhere but here is good. It's not that I hate this place though. It's just that I feel suffocated. I want to watch Frozen and sing at the top of my lungs. Anyways, enough with the kaartehan. Ciao!

American Park in Yokohama

April 02, 2016 0
American Park in Yokohama

Eating face

Not even a tourist spot. Haha anyways, when I accompanied my friend get her Korean Visa, we passed by a rather interesting spot and yeah it was this little American Park or so they are called.

It was rather creepy because you have to pass by this American/Foreign Cemetery and you know, imagine if you have to pass by that place at night.

The center thing though was pretty!

And yeah this one was pretty too! We actually met up with my Canadian friend Dan who works like a block away from the Korean Embassy and gladly he thought us the proper way to get home without passing by the cemetery. Further away but kind of alright. Although the second time we went, we still passed by the cemetery. Ciao!

Robbers on the Loose?

May 14, 2015 2
Robbers on the Loose?

Recently, we've been robbed. Not me actually. Dad. His peso and dollar bills were stolen when he went out to ran some errands. How likely. I bet these guys (or guy) knew dad arrived because for so long, the house was shut with multiple screens and stuff and so when he arrived, he opened everything leaving only the windows exposed. Am I making sense here? Yeah. Dad said he noticed the windows broken so he immediately searched for "what's missing" and found out that the money was gone. Too bad. We reckon that the culprit/s is/are foreigners. We're judgmental, I know. But I mean, it could be anyone, really. But you know.

Whenever I get asked about how Japan is like, I would always say, it's safe. Then I tell them stories like how we can actually leave the door unlocked at night and stuff. But you know, apparently that was only applicable 10 years ago. Now this kind of things can happen. One time an auntie's bicycle seat was stolen and the bicycle itself was found approximately 500 meters away from where it was parked. Then not so long after that, the bicycle went missing and then it was found approximately 3 kilometers away from where it was parked. Insane!! Rude! Also, the same auntie was shopping in a supermarket and after she checked out, placed her stuff in her bicycle's basket thing, she realized she forgot something so she quickly went back in the super leaving her stuff behind and when she came out, voila! Gone.

Well Japan might still be safer than other countries and I'm still thankful that I live here but it's definitely not as safe as it was before. Bad things do happen now. Sad. I mean, I hope these kind of things would stop and may we all just leave in peace.

Anyways speaking of broken glasses, I realized I haven't broken an iPhone screen yet. Next to my sisters (and cousin), I'm probably the most burara person that I know so with that status, ideally I should have broken 2/4 of my iPhone screens but no. It turns out I'm not really burara hahaha take that mom. Totally irrelevant.

With that being said, always take care! Wherever you may be.

Beating the Heat!

July 08, 2014 0
Beating the Heat!
First things first! Three months in Japan now! Okay next. LOL. It's almost summer here and I can't help but be thankful I don't work in the afternoon or else! I'm just so glad I don't have to deal with the nasty weather. Well except the rain! I don't like it.

Recently, I went out alone to eat. Not like in a restaurant or something (will definitely try that!) but like in a mini stand bar or yeah. Also, I wore that shirt from the Philippines with pride! Apparently, that's the only loose shirt I have. That's another reason I wore it. Can't wear skimpy clothes on a nasty weather like that.

Anyways. I had Takoyaki and Mango Juice. The MJ was kind of expensive. I should have just gotten myself a Starbucks. Grande pa! Inis. Anyways, it was still kinda worth it because I went out on a very sunny afternoon so I was quite happy. The Takoyaki isn't that good. But I like it anyway.

I used to really really really like these. I guess sometimes things really does change. LOL. I still dig the grilled one but I haven't really got in to liking the one with soy sauce. I don't know why people like it. It's like a weird combination of sweet and salty. Me no likey. I didn't buy because I prefer them grilling it on the spot. Am I asking too much for 90 yen? Yes.

You know selecting what ice cream to buy is kind of fun in Japan. There's just too many choices!!! Even weird ones! Will probably try and feature some! And I'm already grossed out. Moving right along!

I bought this because I saw Hidemi eating this enjoyably. Nope! Not really good!! Am I asking too much for its price? Yes. But then again it did its job of icing me up. Whut?

This made me happy though! As you can see, it was a really hot day.

A shot of Sagamihara Station. As you can see, it was. Which sucks because first, I forgot my umbrella inside my locker so I have to share with a friend and second, I forgot my umbrella inside my locker so I didn't have anything to use later that day when I went to work. Great! Also, I forgot my e-ticket inside my locker so I had to pay for my fare! Not wise. Ugh! So stupid you know. It's actually because I have to hurry or else the bus might not have available seats. I feel like a ninja, really! That's all! See yah!

Instagram You've Possibly Missed.

May 12, 2014 0
Instagram You've Possibly Missed.

Is it really just me that likes to see street flowers like these? They're such a delight! Like, I don't even know if you can call that normal but yeah. It is what it is. I actually snapped this very carefully for Japanese people kind of find it weird when you would just take random picture of something. I think.

This!! Hahaha I know I have shared this on my blog. Please search it if you haven't seen it already. It can't be too far! :)

Favorite fruit ever!! I can eat strawberries everyday! Non-stop!! Am I alone? No, right? I don't understand why some people dislike it to be honest.

The queen is out to play! It's been too frequent recently that we're playing and stuff and this one in particular is to celebrate my remaining days of freedom. Oh well.

I was really too excited to see the skies like this one because you all know that it's not everyday that it looks like this, right? Or I was probably just out at the wrong time of the day always so yeah there's that.

Transition of Colors

November 18, 2013 0
Transition of Colors
I just noticed that I'm rather so fond of looking at the sky nowadays. It takes my thought out of things. You know! Like a clean state. As a regular worker, I usually have a regular schedule and would go out of work at sunset. I would say I go out of work tired as usual and just seeing the sky above makes me calm down a little bit.

Here's what I usually see. I love it! It's like a masterpiece. The rest of the pictures below are random shots that I took because I thought it's beautiful.

I guess it's nice that our house is kind of near the bay so somehow we can have a glimpse of the beautiful things happening there. I can't wait to like go there again and watch the sunset closely but please oh please, clean the water. I mean even if it would be a 10 year process, they should start doing it.

I love looking at the sky because it's not always the same. I mean, it's very much like life. There's always something new to appreciate.

I'm kind of thinking to take a sunset picture to each country and like be it my collection or something because I've been thinking of starting a collection of something so I would have stuff to look at to when I grow old or when times like those come. You know. Just being sentimental as usual.

The King Tiger!

September 21, 2013 0
The King Tiger!

It's like winning the Olympics or something. Actually, I think I wouldn't be as happy if we won the Olympics. For the simple reason that I don't know most of the representatives of the Philippines. But I'm happy for them in general nevertheless. I know it's not yet the finals and shiz but for some reason, this game really lifted me up like I don't know.

After work, I went straight to my room and opened Facebook and people are talking about the game and I was like, what's happening? So then I was kind of battling whether I should just keep up with the tweets or should I watch live. I watched live. Like even though I'm tired, I can't let my team down. Naks! Hahaha. No but really. You know what I hate? I hate to watch UST basketball games. Because for some reason, it kind of disappoints me. For me, they're always good at the first three quarters of the game and their superpower will somehow decline at the fourth. That's just how it is for UST. When I came home at around 5:30, I was kind of hesitant to watch because I thought, it's probably around the third quarter already. I was dreading the fourth. But then I was like, if this would be their last game, I might as well watch it. Because they're my team after all. I did.

I went down to my lola's room and watched. It was hella intense. I must have shouted probably 5 times. It was a close game and somehow dirty. Foul here and there! But you know, that's UAAP. Personally, I think it was Jeric who made things wonderful! Props to the other players as well. I mean, it wouldn't be that wonderful if only Teng played against those boys from Ateneo. It's like you guys played and teamed well. So this  is the first step. Hopefully you guys would be able to play as intense and as good. Who knows? We might regain the championship. All the best!

It's funny because yesterday, I was with my cousin at UST and I was wondering why people have classes and then I remembered that it's not championship yet. LOL. That's all!

Samsung CDC 2013 Forecast and Winners!

September 15, 2013 0
Samsung CDC 2013 Forecast and Winners!

As I am typing these thoughts, no winners yet but I will include the winners at the end of my post. Okay?

FEU CHEERING SQUAD

Camel toes. Can I just say that that's the first thing I noticed. Boys and girls! Anyway. I didn't really like the costume but my sister thinks it's nice. Okay. I don't really think they did spectacular but they didn't have any major mistake or whatever but yeah the point is they didn't really do something impressive for me. I like the makeup of the presenter though. I don't know if I'm in the position (not) to say what they should or shouldn't have done but the girls should have have the same makeup as hers.

UP PEP SQUAD - Party

I generally liked their routine but then they kind of had mistakes. I don't know if my count is right but they had 3 major mistakes but I think they did beautifully. I like their spirit! I like their costume. I like their hair!

UE PEP SQUAD - Fire

Pretty normal. They had probably 2 mistakes and yeah. I don't get why they have to paint people's faces white because if they're on fire, shouldn't they be black because they're burning? I don't know. I liked their pyramids though. Perfectly made.

DLSU ANIMO SQUAD- Army

They really did well. I liked their routine and everything but their costume. It's just that I don't think it's cheer dance looking material but yeah job well done. The only mistake I noticed is the pyramid thing but that almost doesn't count.

NU PEP SQUAD- Arabic/Indian

I find the bald guys weird. It just doesn't look right. But their routine is quite alright. Nothing too "wow" factor routine.

UST SALINGGAWI DANCE TROUPE - Egyptian

I don't know what's wrong with UST but they're like taking us all around the world. But anyways, I liked the dance moves and all but let's all admit it, the tricky parts failed big time. Maybe it's not yet the time for Salinggawi to really shine. Better luck next time.

ATENEO BLUE BABBLE BATTALION

I think they did okay. Most of the teams are down so I think they might make it!

ADAMSON PEP SQUAD - Glamour

Not really glamorous! But they did okay. I have a dancer friend there so yeah. Uhm they did quite a few mistakes but since they are the host. The judges might not be able to see that mistakes. So yeah. Let's see.

                                                             CHAMPION:
MY FORECAST
REAL WINNERS
DLSU
NU
2ND PLACE:
ATENEO
UP
3RD PLACE:
ADAMSON
DLSU

Random is the Name of the Game

May 03, 2013 2
Random is the Name of the Game
I just want to share with you 5 random things about me. I was actually supposed to name it 'facts' instead of 'things' but fact is just a strong word. I think this would be a good reference 1 or 2 years from now because circumstances change. Who knows?

As of the moment,

1. Miranda Kerr is my all time favorite Victoria Secret's Angel. I don't know but we can't deny that she's way too angelic and charming.

OH MIRANDA, WHY SO PRETTY?
2. As much as they look good on photos, I don't really find candy sprinkled anything appetizing. It freaks me out actually. It's probably just my teeth but I feel like there's too much friction happening inside my mouth whenever I would eat candy or choco sprinkles. Definitely not for me. And unless they're melted, I don't like chocolate chips/kisses as well.

3. Green tea flavored anything is my favorite flavor. Name it! I generally don't like it when people use #FOODPORN on their Instagram pictures but this is just the perfect picture to hash tag that.

4. I used to be obsessed with korean bands and shows but now, not as much. In line with that, I've been listening to The Script way too much.

5. I watched all Pirates of the Caribbean and I even watched some of it twice or something but I can't remember any significant story that happened in any of the movies. Oh well.

So that's it guys. I hope there's nothing I said above that you know already and I hope you guys know me a little bit better now. :)  By the way I got all these pictures from We Heart It and I'm pretty sure they got these from Tumblr which they got  from somewhere as well so yeah credit where credit's due! :)

Fabulous Hashi

May 02, 2013 1
Fabulous Hashi

One fine day, I just decided to take pictures with Hashi and she was like, not me lady! I got things to do! LOL.

<3 Smooches! She's so sweet! I think there's really a big difference between a female and a male pet. The females are just adorbs. Even her mum is sweet. My Shiki is also sweet but I don't know. I just think that Hashi is sweeter. Sexist!

I got yah! And she was like, I'm gonna make these pictures look like you're not treating me well.

When she was a little younger, she would actually be really friendly to the camera but now that she grew up a little, it's a little bit harder to take pictures of her so whatever.

But you're still fabulous and glamorous! :)
