Unli Scallops in Manila

Image
We went to a place that we saw on a Facebook post. We were skeptical at first because it's not common for a place to have such item on their all you can eat menu so we called before we went and they said that they actually have it everyday. We also opted for the boodle fight style but you actually have to pay extra for the banana leaves. Picture above is them arranging the leaves.  family that eats together sometimes lol  Yup! We had loads of these. I personally ate scallops until I can't no more! The scallops were a bit tiny and it's like 1/3 the size of what I usually eat but if you had like 20 plus of it, then it actually don't matter as much! The other food that they served were okay but the scallops were good! I just love me some scallops you know!  The lechon sisig in moderate portion is actually bomb too!  This is actually our last "girl's night" dinner edition if you will. I had fun! And my tummy was happy! That's all you folks!

Above Sea Level | SM Sangandaan

Above Sea Level SM Sangandaan. My mom took me and my sister Mika here because we were not able to join them the first time.  Yas We actually didn’t order much. Just the squid tower thing, California Maki, Tonkotsu Ramen, Paella, bacon wrapped shrimp, and the red iced tea tower.  Peace Squad FAMILY The California Maki was not bad. Kind of interesting because it has crispy toppings. I’m not a big fan of maki but it’s alright, I guess. The ramen was okay. The highlight! This was kind of good! TBH We actually saw our uncle ate at this restaurant first so we just copied. It might have been two different branches too but anyways. Hi tito! Wow, fresh!  The seafood feast was also not that kind of good but kind of good nonetheless. The rice was meh. I recommend you just order the

Intramuros. It’s odd when you think about why I went here but wait until your browse my old blog and see where I went. Actually planning to revisit them all though so that’s what’s up!  It’s actually where we go to Church. It’s just that my family don’t really take interest in exploring the city.  FORT SANTIAGO So calm. The first time I went here was when I was in college and it’s just for our Rizal course.  Rizal Museum Favorite Rizal book.  I had fun in the museum. I just wish the temperature inside is a little cooler because I swear I was sweating and I’m the type of person who doesn’t really sweat easily so that’s saying something. I mean, Rizal’s life is pretty interesting so I kinda wanted to revisit his journey but it was so hot that day and I just couldn’t. The museum is free though so I know I can’t really complain but I’m just saying.  meeting with my people On our way out, we rode the tricycle thing and it was very nice of the driver to actually gave ...

My Girls!

Yas. My high school besties. Super awesome that we get to see each other again. It’s so hard to match our offs. Like for example, these two saw each other on their way to work and they literally only said “hi” to each other and moved on. ADULTING IS HARD.  chicharon Sago’t Gulaman with Diana’s favorite vinegar. She literally asked the waiter if the complimentary crackers is refillable because the vinegar is life! Sinigang na Bangus Belly Pinakbet I can’t believe I ate the ampalaya on this dish. No bitterness at all!!! My mama (also lola) love Ampalaya with Spam and egg and  they would always offer me some and say that it’s not bitter but it would always taste bitter so I already gave up on ampalaya but the one they served there literally taste like nothing that I don’t even know if it’s still  a good thing. But I liked it.  Baked Chicken Asado Not sure if any of mentioned name is official but that's basically what it is so ya know!  After dinner, we went to Trin...

As per usual, we decided to celebrate our final days together with songs.  Hola My little sisters are not so little anymore. My friends and I are always at awe on how they grow up so fast. Like my bestfriend was telling me how back in the day when we were still in highshool, and she would go to our house, we shoo them away (ehem Mari) because they're like ever so annoying and would either knock endlessly and do some random papansin. And now, they're like literally taller than us na. Also, everytime my friend Diana would ask, she would always be like, high school na ba sila?  SISTERS I NEVER HAD Random note, I actually celebrated my 18th Birthday with friends here. With them actually. And other friends from both my highschool and university.  Cat showed no mercy to others by singing familiar songs even though it wasn't for her. Bless her. Haha It was overall a very nice catch-up. Can I just say that I literally just saw Diana twice. Lame. Why do I have workaholic friends?...
