What's on my iPhone 6s?

July 26, 2016 0
What's on my iPhone 6s?

Still no definite feels whether I like this or my iPhone 6 plus better. But hey. It's the perfect size and the perfect everything. I like it. I haven't done one of this for so long so here it goes.

The wallpaper. I was never one of those who likes to put their faces in here. Totally not judging though. Just saying. What I do though is Pinterest for relevant wallpapers and I usually change this quite a lot depending on my needs. It's very nice you know.

The first page. From this we can conclude that I don't have much from this phone. I've had 5 iPhones my whole life and I actually haven't exceeded 3 pages so far. But recently they do have this folder thingy so maybe that's why.

Can I just share that if you haven't already, do fill out your Health app. The one with the heart. It's an Apple default app and you know, who knows when it will come handy, right?

Second page is for Social Media. Can I just say that Netflix app is my thing? I like it. Especially when I have my face mask on and I have to lye down for my skin to absorb it. It's great.

I also have a folder for photo editing which I really don't use that much. Lately, I've been just auto-correcting pictures directly from the default photo editor of the phone. And sometimes I use Line Camera and use the photo filter "clear" so I can fake being a good photographer which I am totally not most of the time.

The games I play. Basically the boring ones. I don't even play Bakery Story 2. I donwloaded it because my sister Mika asked me to because she wanted to compete but I haven't heard from her about this since. Tamad sisters! Don't even get me started with Mari. Hahahaha

Also, I just found a scanner that works. I must have been stupid before because of none of those that I downloaded worked. But now, I'm kind of an expert. Bring me those codes! ;) Ciao!

Wildest Dreams OH~

July 20, 2016 0
Wildest Dreams OH~

Okay so this is how it started. I was a nurse intern (why though?) at this mall and apparently, it was my first day. The doctor was orienting me because you know, clueless here. I was even handed the clipboard that nurses use.

Then my sister Mari came. She was like, with the meanest voice, "bitch, what are you doing here?" And in my head, I was like, "oh no, you didn't". The fight went physical. She pulled my hair and I pulled hers. Man, I was so pissed. And then for some reason, we moved on from the fight but I was still at the mall.

Then there was an event at the garden (which looks like an arena) where they're having this Sakura illumination much like what happened in Sea Paradise. So yeah there's that. And then I was like, too pretty not to blog so I did take some pictures, right? So I was like at the top of the arena, and then at the bottom stairs, there was a creepy man and he was pointing to my phone. At this point he was actually very far away so I don't know how he caught up. He snatched my bag with my phone in it and he ran away. Then! I don't know how there were lots of people who were after my bag all of a sudden. And then this snatcher threw things out of my bag as he go. And then I picked most of it because duh! I own the bag. So yeah. And then he was like, holding a gun all of a sudden and he asked everyone to turn around and climb the stairs to the top of the arena. I was actually in the middle of the stairs chillin because I mean, if someone's gonna die, it's probably not I. So yeah I looked behind me to check if he was still at the bottom, yes. When I looked again, goodness he was gone so you know my initial thought was he was probably at the middle already and coming after me but that's where that scenario ended. Thank goodness.

I then went inside the mall and it was chaotic! Mind you! I know Hunger Games when I see one, darling. My sisters and I were on a team and we were killing people (not really) from other teams. At this point though it should be noted that we were literally TIGRESSES. I remember killing a family of pandas and fawns to keep my sisters safe. Needless to say, it was a weird dream. Anyways, that's all! Ciao!

Cheonggyecheon Stream | When in Seoul

May 23, 2016 0
Cheonggyecheon Stream | When in Seoul

Secretly really wanted to see this. Before, I was like, gotta see what I should see but now that I know that it took them millions of dollars to reconstruct, I'm kind of curious. Kind of.

I didn't even know we were there already it's funny. Basically, when we were strolling near our hotel, I saw this tower and I was like, what's up? Didn't mind it much.

Rainbow After every Hardship

Before the trip, I kind of already searched for places and how to get there from our hotel and this stream is supposed to be 30 minutes away but yeah.

Now I know why it was darn expensive. It's long. There were children with their little boats that time. They were probably gonna release it or something. No idea.

Cheonggyecheon Stream

Also, they did have people wearning traditional costumes and stuff. Also some camera guys so maybe they were having a shooting or something.

Would love to hang out here at night though. Probably pretty with the breeze and the lights. Ciao!

National Folk Museum | When in Seoul

May 13, 2016 0
National Folk Museum | When in Seoul

When you see a place like this along the way, make your way in. This is actually not part of our itinerary but somehow it made the list. No regrets. We were using Google Maps and then somehow it told us we were there and so we followed a randim guy and brought us there. Voila. Basically, we were lost and yeah hahaha.

NO IDEA

FANTASTIC VIEW

SELFIE GAME UP

So glad we did enter though because it's apparently connected to the real destination. Also, it's kind of touristy as well and it's FREE.

Azalea's everywhere. Pretty! It's so nice that even though it's Sunday, it's not so crowded. Me likey.

There are a lot of traditional stuff inside that I actually don't understand. Again, it would be nice to go here with someone who knows what's up because we just took pictures of unknown stuff. But traditional.

Like this one. It's touristy. Pretty. But I don't know what this statue is all about. Life. Anyways, there's that. Ciao!

Dongdaemun | When in Seoul

May 06, 2016 0
Dongdaemun | When in Seoul

This is the first time I went to Seoul and the first stop is Dongdaemun Market. We went there basically to meet my buddy's dad. So yeah after airport, we went straight to the market. No idea hahaha.

It was a mall-ish type of place. The one we went to more than twice is Migliore Mall. A lot of cheap stuff! We went there and got really amazed. Maybe because there's no equivalent place here in Japan. In the Philippines though, there's 168 in Divisoria! Much much cheaper but that 's besides the point.

So after we checked the shops floor by floor, we went to eat dinner. At this point, I'm not really hungry but I'm so happy that I get to taste my first authentic Korean dish. It was spicy! But delicious.

I love that the staffs kept coming to our table to mix and check on our food even though obviously we can just do it ourselves. Got me really confused there.

Korean buildings are usually of interesting structure. Like, irregular thing. This one reminds me of that building in Shinjuku that got me confused as well. It's pretty at night though with all the lights on.

Streetfoods!

Picture time

Yummy Korean barbecues

Potato Corndog

On the second day, we went back because my buddy said she'll buy something but ya know! Didn't happen hahaha. But we managed to eat a lot of street foods which is awesome! The barbecue though! So spicy considering we didn't order the spiciest! How can people eat that kind of stuff? Goodness gracious. But the cheese one is good!

Badass

Also, they were having this B-Boy battle when we went. As we still have time, we managed to watch a battle. It was good! Definitely a place for Sunday events. Quite interesting.

On our third day, we came back because buddy told me she'll buy the stuff she's been meaning to buy already. Thank goodness! She should have bought it on the first day but anyways. Food!

It's a small restaurant underground and we have suceeded in finding small restaurants where local people would usually eat and yeah. Loved it!

Also, we've ordered so much food that we were in food coma for a couple of hours. Not complaining.

The pork sausage is a winner! Although I suggest that you consume everything while it's warm. That's our Dongdaemun adventure. Ciao!

Netflix and Chill...

April 22, 2016 0
Netflix and Chill...
Netflix and Chill

Totally signed for Netflix. Long time coming. Let me tell you a story. I have this friend who came over my place last year for movies and was like, "do you have Netflix?" And I didn't have so we ended up watching "Annabelle" at an illegal movie host. I fell asleep that time. One year later, earlier this month actually, friend came again and was like, "do you have Netflix?" Well I didn't have it yet that time either so we watched the third "Avengers" at the same illegal movie host again. Of course I fell asleep. Watching home movies with other person doesn't work for me. Watch alone, awake/fine. Watch with someone else, zzzzzzz/goodbye/dreamland/don't wake me. FACT. Anyways so I did sign up for it. It's my 3rd day to it and so far I have watched 3 old movies already. Chick flicks of course. Bachelorette, Love Again, and Bride Wars. Very chill. Although I should watch Netflix stuff.

Imagine if my skin condition turn back to this. Good heaven, please. So 10 years ago. Literally. What happened again?

So addicted with strawberries again lately. I totally skipped this addiction when it was in season last year but it kind of got into me again this year. It has always been a favorite of mine so it's good to rediscover my like for it. Okay that was random.

This is the second time I forgot the gawddamn key inside my locker. The first time, I was already at the doorsteps of my apartment FFS. Did I tell you that? I feel like I did because you know, anything stupid that I've done, I know I have shared hahaha. Anyways. Awhile ago, I was like, I know I put my keys inside my uniform bag (the one I leave inside the locker) but come break time, I checked the uniform bag to actually transfer keys but then I saw no keys!! So I was very confident that it's in my bag but when I was in the bus, I felt like checking my bag for keys and no luck. I checked more than enough to know that the keys are not in my bag so I knew I had to come back. I was like, I already checked awhile ago and it wasn't there! Also, goodness gracious knows where my spare keys are. But then I had to double check everything. At this point, I was very nervous. But voila, found it. At first I didn't see but I heard its sound so you know. Great.

As a final note, it's true isn't it? Sometimes you can't see the beauty of things right away. Sometimes it takes time. Say misery. You're in that situation because someone's teaching you a lesson. So while you're at it, don't judge. CRY. BREATH IN. BREATHE OUT. LET GO. MOVE ON. Ciao!

Takasaki Park Hanami 2016

April 12, 2016 0
Takasaki Park Hanami 2016

And yes. We finally got a full bloom. Although alone, I really felt happy that I was able to see all this beauty.

I was kind of hesitant for Hanami actually because it particularly rained so hard earlier that day and I was like should I really go there with umbrella or something? But you know, it did stop when I was about to go off the train. Also, my advice is just to go for it because Sakura wouldn't wait for you.

Takasaki Park is kinda near the station.  Probably a 20 minute walk or less even so it's really easy to locate (if you know how to read a map).

It's a small park though, but you know, you get what you want there so why not?

Beautiful!

Selfie

Also a fun fact, there are actually about 3-4 bird cages in that park. I don't know what for but yeah.

So delicate. So pure. Like, who wouldn't love to stare at these, right?

Takasaki Park

Awesome! For some reason, I like me some Sakura by the river/lake or something. Any parts of water for that matter. It brings this sort of balance (in my head). Hahaha. There were people feeding the kois with bread when I went there so yeah it was a riot.

Takasaki City Office

Time to go Home

Anyways, that was my last Hanami for this year. I didn't go to many places as planned but that just makes next year very much anticipated. I don't think I'll be running out of places to go anyways because there are just lotsa spots here in Japan where people can enjoy the beauty of Sakura so yeah. Ciao!
