Wildest Dreams OH~

July 20, 2016 0
Wildest Dreams OH~

Okay so this is how it started. I was a nurse intern (why though?) at this mall and apparently, it was my first day. The doctor was orienting me because you know, clueless here. I was even handed the clipboard that nurses use.

Then my sister Mari came. She was like, with the meanest voice, "bitch, what are you doing here?" And in my head, I was like, "oh no, you didn't". The fight went physical. She pulled my hair and I pulled hers. Man, I was so pissed. And then for some reason, we moved on from the fight but I was still at the mall.

Then there was an event at the garden (which looks like an arena) where they're having this Sakura illumination much like what happened in Sea Paradise. So yeah there's that. And then I was like, too pretty not to blog so I did take some pictures, right? So I was like at the top of the arena, and then at the bottom stairs, there was a creepy man and he was pointing to my phone. At this point he was actually very far away so I don't know how he caught up. He snatched my bag with my phone in it and he ran away. Then! I don't know how there were lots of people who were after my bag all of a sudden. And then this snatcher threw things out of my bag as he go. And then I picked most of it because duh! I own the bag. So yeah. And then he was like, holding a gun all of a sudden and he asked everyone to turn around and climb the stairs to the top of the arena. I was actually in the middle of the stairs chillin because I mean, if someone's gonna die, it's probably not I. So yeah I looked behind me to check if he was still at the bottom, yes. When I looked again, goodness he was gone so you know my initial thought was he was probably at the middle already and coming after me but that's where that scenario ended. Thank goodness.

I then went inside the mall and it was chaotic! Mind you! I know Hunger Games when I see one, darling. My sisters and I were on a team and we were killing people (not really) from other teams. At this point though it should be noted that we were literally TIGRESSES. I remember killing a family of pandas and fawns to keep my sisters safe. Needless to say, it was a weird dream. Anyways, that's all! Ciao!

Drug Store Haul 2

April 16, 2016 0
Drug Store Haul 2

This is what I got from the drugstores. It's conveniently very near from my place so whatever I need, it's within reach. More like things I think I need. But not really. Hahaha. Talk about impulsive buying. Hahaha anyways, these are the things I got.

This pink hair color. You know, I think that there are really things that should be done by people who knows how to do it. Because I think that the more I try to fix the color of my hair, the more it gets worse. IDK. I should book a salon trip soon!!

This Blistex lip balm. For some reason, I always lose my Burt's Bees and I thought I'd buy another. NOT. Now, I don't know which bag has my lip balms. Most likely the bag I'm not using as of the moment and when it's like time to change bags, I probably have transferred it to my current bag which I won't be using 5 minutes after. I'm weird. I probably should have one lip balm per bag but not ideal since I don't really change my bag that much. And! They'd probably end up all in the same bag anyways.

This though I use a lot. Like, A LOT LOT. Before, I kind of dread oil applied on my face because my face is naturally oily and I don't need any more of that but when I read somewhere that it doesn't really add up to the oiliness and actually have benefits added to it, girl give me some of that. I usually use this to remove make-up and girl, it made my skin supple kind of. I'm impressed. Also very recently, my girl Michelle Phan made a video about oils and yay. So that's about it guys! Did you get anything from the drugstore recently? Ciao!

Takasaki Park Hanami 2016

April 12, 2016 0
Takasaki Park Hanami 2016

And yes. We finally got a full bloom. Although alone, I really felt happy that I was able to see all this beauty.

I was kind of hesitant for Hanami actually because it particularly rained so hard earlier that day and I was like should I really go there with umbrella or something? But you know, it did stop when I was about to go off the train. Also, my advice is just to go for it because Sakura wouldn't wait for you.

Takasaki Park is kinda near the station.  Probably a 20 minute walk or less even so it's really easy to locate (if you know how to read a map).

It's a small park though, but you know, you get what you want there so why not?

Beautiful!

Selfie

Also a fun fact, there are actually about 3-4 bird cages in that park. I don't know what for but yeah.

So delicate. So pure. Like, who wouldn't love to stare at these, right?

Takasaki Park

Awesome! For some reason, I like me some Sakura by the river/lake or something. Any parts of water for that matter. It brings this sort of balance (in my head). Hahaha. There were people feeding the kois with bread when I went there so yeah it was a riot.

Takasaki City Office

Time to go Home

Anyways, that was my last Hanami for this year. I didn't go to many places as planned but that just makes next year very much anticipated. I don't think I'll be running out of places to go anyways because there are just lotsa spots here in Japan where people can enjoy the beauty of Sakura so yeah. Ciao!

Peyong VS Peyoung Yakisoba?

March 20, 2016 0
Peyong VS Peyoung Yakisoba?

Peyong vs Peyoung. Actually, it's kind of the same. I really can't tell the difference but you know, if I really have to choose, I'd choose the classic Peyoung. Just because I'm used to the taste.

They do look kind of the same. All the little things and all. The classic Peyoung being more expensive than this new Peyong. Interesting because it's under the same company. Look at them trying to make lotsa money.

The main difference is that the KAYAKU doesn't have little pork bits. Also, its sauce is milder compared to the other.

It looks like this. Same thing basically. Minus the pork bits. Ciao!

Pink is the New Red

February 24, 2016 0
Pink is the New Red

It's this new Red Bull Spring Edition. I'm not usually a fan of energy drinks because you know, coffee is my ish but then again I was tempted to try these because why not?

Energy drinks in general doesn't really do it for me. If anything, it helps me sleep better and faster after drinking some. It's kind of a big deal here in Japan because most Japanese are workaholics that they really need help in the energy department that's why it's kind of a big deal here in Japan.

The pink bull looks like this. It's pretty! It's in time for Sakura and I understand if people want to drink this then. It's a very mild flavor that I ain't even mad of this.

In time for Valentine's Day, this product appeared. Basically a pink and blue edition for her and his. Whatever it is they have to do on Valentine's day together that requires energy, quite a cool concept. I know what you did there. Anyways.

Grape flavored red bull

It's not bad either. I like the pink better though. I don't know why I bothered actually. Haha so random. Ciao!

This Park again and again

February 15, 2016 0
This Park again and again

After a long time, I get to visit this park again. I was actually so happy because I get to share the beauty of the park.

I don't get why he was so amused by this cow. Why? Haha

The cow really did not care. Such a badass. Like, she would look at us once and then look away and eat grass. Repeat. She did not even try. Haha

Also entered their bird house and it was nice. I wish they build a bigger cage though. It's a little bit crowded for all of them there.

Colorful bird

Then we enter the feeding cage whatever and it was awesome.

It was our first time seeing these babies. Not sure what they are exactly but most likely chickens hahaha.

Then we also get to feed most of them with carrots and we were saying that they're really doing it right because it's a nice learning and fun experience for kids (and the like) and all the animals there get to eat.

Also, even though it's Winter, they still have this flower mosaic thing going on so yeah it was still kind of pretty. Also they did have an event that time where they sell stuff but all we did there was eat mochi. It was good.

My favorite part of the park for sure.

The earliest bloom of Sakura that I've seen. Fantastic.

It was a good day. Ciao!

Take me Home <3

Take me Home <3
Selfie.

It was actually my first time to go to the airport alone. Let alone going to another country alone. But for some reason, I wasn't nervous. Anyways, my itinerary that time was Sagamihara-Machida-Narita. All about 2 hours and 30 minutes away from home. I planned to take the first train but I was like, too early. So I took the next train. Then when I was down the entrance of my mansion, I felt like my face was too hot (it's winter) so I thought I wasn't able to turn off the heater so I went back up again. At this point I really don't have any time to spare so I rushed my way to the station. I was able to make it on time but then when I tapped my SUICA CARD, it  turned out I don't have enough credits remaining so quickly, I asked the lady to load the card and she said I have to do it alone. Clearly, no time left for me. I missed the train so I really have to do everything quickly when I arrive at MACHIDA. Or else, I'll miss my bus. It was a very tiring moment because of time limits and stuff but everything else was peaceful.

I still arrived at Narita International Airport an hour early so still no problem. I checked-in online so no problem really but I wanted to like do everything quickly for me to able to roam around and eat and do last minute shopping. The lady at the station was really nice because you know, when I checked-in online, I wasn't able to select a seat and she was really nice enough to offer and said there are window and aisle seats still available. So I chose window.

I thought I'd eat a light meal but other restaurants are kind of full that time so I went to eat chicken curry set meal instead.

Chicken Katsu Curry

After eating, I went to the passport control, bought some stuff, then I still have like 45 minutes to spare so I went to the charging station and charged my phone. Slowly walked to my boarding window then waited a little more. My arrival time is like 3:55 in the arbo. I slept the whole flight and will occasionally wake up and check the time, right? I woke up at around 4:10 and we're still up in the air. It was very windy that time and we were warned that we'll be landing but the captain decided to delay the landing or something I don't know. I think we landed at around 5:00 pm.

With the family! The flight was actually an hour late but you know as long as you get along with your family at the end of the day, it's alright I guess.

I didn't tell anyone but a friend but I actually really planned to eat at Jollibee first when I arrive but I guess momma really knows best. So yeah, ciao! :)

EXPLORING Takasaki

December 25, 2015 0
EXPLORING Takasaki

Takasaki has been one of my favorite cities to visit recently. It`s not much but going here kind of gives me a peace of mind of some sort.

When we were in Yokohama, I saw this double deck-ish kind of train compartment and it was my first time seeing one so I was like, what the heck is this? And Bry explained that it is a GREEN CAR and it is where passengers can somehow ride (for a cost) to avoid the hassle of standing and/or crowded trip. I initially thought it's only for airports and stuff.

As a rule, you have to tap your SUICA CARD right  away or else the attendant would have to ask you to pay in cash. What happened to us is that we didn't have a loaded card so cash it was. The fee actually depends on your destination and I remember ours was like 1000 yen plus each so yeah it`s kind of pricey but I can imagine how convenient this gimmick would be for late commuters or like PWD.

The smell of poultry. I haven`t even thought of that when I first exited the station but Bry kind of pointed it out. It was bothersome the first few times but I guess it grew on me and I don`t mind it much now.

Very subtle station.

It`s one of Gunma`s major station and with Shinkansen connections all over, I can see why. The station is actually quite big and quite lots of stalls to visit and there are actually quite a lot of local souvenir shops so awesome.

I have actually been here for maybe like 8 times or more but I still haven`t got in the building at the back. Although I should have. But I don`t know when I`ll be back here.

It was September when I first visited so it`s like a transition to fall but the trees there were kind of ahead the season so I was like, must take pictures!

As mentioned, they actually are somehow an agricultural city of some sort so they did have quite a lot of rice fields and stuff. The first time I visited, this is how it looked like.

Couple of visits after, they turned yellow. Am I the only one amazed how nature works?

Totally out of the plan but there`s actually a park nearby and obstacle courses and it`s totally not the ideal activity considering the time but it turned out to be a great idea.

When we visited, I remember this day being the day the moon turn BLOOD RED but I guess not in ASIA but we did get quite an awesome view that night with the stars surrounding and shining from above.

Then this happened.

Harvest season!

I saw how it happened. I feel like a proud momma. Hahahaha

Even this is nice to look at. Like, you can see that Japan is not only about Tokyo.

Fall.

Inside the train.

On the difference note, you`ll be amazed on how vintagey the trains are there. Some modern and some are like this and I`m not even complaining. It`s awesome as it is. It`s like Japan way back when. I suggest you do visit Gunma. Ciao!
