Hers and Mine.

March 15, 2013 0
Hers and Mine.
Like I said, I was catching up with movies and this time, I'm gonna review Bourne Identity. Well not really review though. Just gonna say something about it and what my opinions on it are and stuff like that. Actually, I watched When in Rome before Bourne but it was so kinda walang kwenta kaya 'wag nalang. Haha. This one is like an old film na. Released 2002 pa. Pero anyways.

So it is about Jason Bourne, an assassin who lost his memory. He was found floating by some fishermen sort of. The guy who was cutting his body sort of found out that he got shot and yeah good thing there's someone in the boat who knows how to remove it from his body and all that stuff. And then the interesting part was there was a tiny laser kind of bullet found in his hip and when the doctor/that someone flashed it on the wall, it revealed his bank number. Okay so fast forward.

The cops were everywhere looking for him and he don't know why. He still got the skills though. Fighting and all that self defense stuff. Then he had to go to Paris but riding a train's too dangerous and everything else so he followed the girl in the front of the line when he was in the US Embassy and kind of heard her problem that she's broke and all that. So he offered him 10 grand for a ride to Paris and that he'll give him another 10 when they get there. And then the girl kind of put herself in danger by actually doing that but even though Jason Bourne, the assassin I was talking about already instructed her to go to the police and say everything she knows to clear her name but she didn't. Oh well. And so she was then part of the target. Like, she went with him everywhere and then she was given a chance to go away with Jason Bourne's remaining money and even though she doesn't want to go, she did.

Jason Bourne then fixed things and when he was able to, he was able to find the girl and yeah. Happy ending.

Attraversiamo.

Attraversiamo.
Let's cross over. I don't know what that means. Probably to travel or whatever. You probably watched that film already. Eat Pray Love. I just did. Now that I have time to watch movies, I'll try my best to catch up. For some reason, I really find learning any European language difficult. I was about to put Abercrombie as a title. Anyways.

I was battling whether I should watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (potterhead!) or Eat Pray Love yesterday. I watched Goblet of Fire probably twice but Eat Pray Love, I haven't (yesterday) so I settled for that. I haven't read the book or anything but I plan to. Hopefully soon.

I liked the film. It kind of reflects reality. Well its not that I like reality or whatsoever but I like that it's not very fictional. You know what I mean? You feel me? So it all started with this couple who can't seem to have the same outlook on life. Liz got an attorney, wanted a divorce, got it, and voila! I just want to comment on what happened. I kind of pity the guy because he believed that it'll still work out. I guess it's Liz's fault for giving up too easily (at least in the movie). Proof is that the guy didn't sign the divorce paper right away. Although he was presented to be childish on screen but still, he reasoned out and didn't want a divorce. Not interested was the term used.

And then there's this another guy who Liz had an eye contact with during a play and then they kind of lived together, I don't know how long. And then this guy, influenced Liz to pray. I don't mean to offend anyone by not knowing but the person they're praying to was introduced as a Guru. Or maybe I missed it. Not really good with names if you can't tell it yet. Anyways. Liz was not happy any more, there's no more passion, they're fighting over things already, and that happened.

Liz then planned a trip for herself to find her "balance". She said she'll go to Italy (Rome), India, and Indonesia (Bali) respectively. Because in the beginning of the film, Liz went to Ketut (a healer) in Bali and I think it was her fate or something like that. I don't know. I guess it's a good point. Doing something to actually make your "fate" a reality. I've talked about it a lot so whatevs. So then right before she go about her travels, Liz got a call from her attorney and said that her husband signed the divorce thingy already. So we now go to ROME!

Movies! :)

Movies! :)
The other day, my cousin went to my place to pick up something my mom would want to give her. And then she was like, let's watch Warm Bodies! It's already up. And I really intended to watch Warm Bodies before and I thank the Internet for letting us watch it for free. I know it's illegal and all so you don't have to remind me. I don't claim to be a 100% law abiding citizen anyway. But whatevs. Haha

I actually didn't enjoy the film that much. It's kind of confusing to me most of the time. Or probably because I haven't read the novel yet and all that but for some reason, even though the film is simple as it is, it's still kind of absurd. Very fast phase, and all that! But still not bad for a free movie. You would probably be more understanding when you paid for it. Good thing though that I liked the boyfriend of the main actress. So good looking. But that's another story. It's not like I'm totally disconnected to the film though. I legitimately felt happy when he realized he dreamt. You would know what I mean when you watch the movie. I would try to read the novel as soon as I got time.

To be honest, I enjoyed Twilight more than I liked this movie.

And then we watched Tangled. I actually haven't seen the movie like, ever. Call me a looser but that's a true story. Unlike Warm Bodies, the film was amazing! I liked it. <3 I wonder if I would the same if I were in her situation. I don't think I would just leave my mom like that. I mean, hypothetically of course. But I like when they showed that Rapuzel kind of felt guilty for what she did and all that. Good enough.

Like we haven't had enough yet, we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That too! Loser, I know. But it was awesome! Aswesum! I love the values incorporated in it. Such a family movie. And Johnny Depp was such a sweetheart! :)    Not literally though. Because he actually didn't do anything about the troubled kids. Oh speaking of troubles, for some reason, although funny, I find that people from whatever land Oompa-loompas way too annoying when they sing. Why-oh-why.

Anyways that was my day the other day and I hope that would happen again very very soon! Stress relieving that was.

Les Miserables! :) Movie Time.

Les Miserables! :) Movie Time.
So I watched the movie with my cousin after I had a long day of duty. We watched at SM San Lazaro which is the closest we can get and it's just so convenient to watch there. Even though like, we can go further and have a little more fun, convenience is still the key to everything. Or I was just probably tired from my duty. Anyways.

I actually haven't read the whole book. Way back high school though, I was able to read an excerpt like, as a requirement for my English class and that's it pretty much. If you haven't read the book, I don't think you would enjoy the movie less so GO FOR IT!

Can I just say that I really really loved Anne Hathaway's version of "I Dreamed a Dream"? Like, it's so awesome that I can't even.

Can I just say that I love these two? LOL. Just saying.

Okay enough of the screen shots! Thanks to the Internet for these pictures! Okay one more!

I definitely recommend it! But before doing so, I would like to give you these tips for better watching. These aren't mine but I kind of followed most of it so I thought I would share these with you.

Movie Time. Breaking Dawn Part 2.

November 21, 2012 0
Movie Time. Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Basically, what happened was my cousin posted that she want to watch Breaking Dawn and then I originally kind of wanted to watch it too so even though I have duty in the morning, I decided to go on and told her that we'll watch after my duty anyways. Oh well. No regrets.

Generally speaking, I'm not actually addicted to Twilight. I mean, I don't really want to compare but Harry Potter kind of made a big impact to me. But I liked Twilight. Not really feeling any kind of hate towards it.

But anyways. I kind of liked this particular movie. I think it's really well made and all that stuff. I think that its finale is really worth being the finale. If you know what I mean. I wouldn't say that it couldn't have been better though. But it was fantastical magical.

I really liked the twist that happened. Like, I was ready to cry and all that but thank goodness. Nah, just kidding. Actually, I kind of prefer for the first thing to happen but whatevs.

I liked Irina's role there for some reason. Like, quite an awesome traitor. And she said sorry and admitted that she was wrong. That's nice of her.

I also liked the vampires from Amazon. They kind of looked scary at first but yeah nice.

I really like's Alice's character. Not only in this movie but like forever.

If you're a Twilight fan, I recommend you watch it if you haven't already. Like, people are really talking about it lately and I must say that it's really worth the hype. Not really worth but I know where they're coming from.

"FOREVER."

Brave! Movie Time.

August 05, 2012 0
Brave! Movie Time.
Since Histopathology section is such a nice post that it doesn't have Sunday duties, FREEDOM!

Awhile ago, I watched Brave with my sisters. First of all, we went to Hypermart to buy stuff such as stuff. LOLs. Mom bought us stuff to eat inside the movie house since we aren't fans of POPCORNS. Then we were dropped off right in front of the mall and we were told that we'll be picked up on the same site. And then we went to the food court and then we went to the cinema!

Oh and for some reason,

DEAL WITH IT

Haters gonna hate. Just kidding! Moving on... I think the film is nice and can really teach us all lessons. I recommend it!

Just a little teaser for you though. Merida is a daughter of a king of some sort called Fergus and a queen named Elinor. The movie started with Merida's birthday and in that scene, she was presented with a bow. Then they did some shooting and all that. And then her arrow was directed to the forest instead of something I can't remember and then she found a wisp. And then it multiplied and when she tried to follow THE WISPS, they led her back to her home. Or is that even what happened? I think so.

And then when she grew up, her mother told her that there would be a competition of clans and the winner of that, would have to marry her as a part of a tradition. During the introduction, someone said that the first four clans to join will be able to compete and she CHOSE ARCHERY to be the basis or something like that and then since there were three clans, she represented herself to be the FOURTH and that she wanted to win for her FREEDOM. SHE WON. But of course that can't be the case. I won't be telling what happened after that. You have to find out yourself.

Can I just share a little story? I feel so courteous when asking for your permission for me to share my something something. LOL. Of course I can! My blog! Remember? LOL. So yeah, I really want a younger brother. Like, super! Then of course! As you all know, I have two younger sisters. But this thing on our left is just a proof that I really am right that having younger brothers is umm...cool. HAHAHA but I love my sisters of course. But you know! I'm just saying. These THREE kids are the cutest thing ever. Like, for reals. I love how they kind of tried to help their sister in getting out of the chamber and all that. I love how they sort of played the good part (mostly) and not being evil to their sister. CUTENESS OVERLOAD! For some reason, I can only remember that they were called collectively as "BOYS". Was their names mentioned? Let me know.

Can I just say that I love how much lessons can an individual learn from this is just so awesome. Actually, we were supposed to watch THE HEALING but it's R18. There's an option available that is R13 but there are deleted scenes. Which doesn't make much sense to me. Oh well. And for some reason, that with the deleted scenes is pricier than that with the original film. What up?

As a conclusion, I want to share my favourite quote from the film.
"Destiny is not our own. But I know better." - Princess Merida
