Victoria Jackson Lip Addiction Lip Balm Quartet. Review.

Victoria Jackson Lip Addiction Lip Balm Quartet. Review.
After trying these for some time, I decided to make a quick review. Nothing extensive. Maybe I've used these stuff for like two to three times each and so yeah. Let's go!

So here's how mine exactly looks like. The label kind of messed up by itself already. But it doesn't really matter.

I researched a little bit and in the Philippines, it retails for like 960-ish php. Like, you get the four thingy already. Do I think it's worth the price? Not quite. Not that I don't like it though. But I just don't think it's worth 200-ish php each. It also comes  with a lip brush which is not that great by the way. I would have appreciated 4 brushes though. NO IDEA.

It actually doesn't have a name for each color. Or probably just the Japanese version. No idea. Like at the bottom, each just says Victoria Jackson and then Lip Addiction Lip Balm. But anyways.

I also prepared a swatch. Yay!

My favorite would probably be the second one. Both swatch and real thing. Like, the first one is kind of orange-y and the last two are kind of so-so. Very neutral.

I actually like the balmy consistency and how soft it feels on my lips. It's quite long lasting too. It's so non-sticky which is great and as you can see, it's quite pigmented. Yay for MOISTURE!

One thing I don't like about it though. Well, except for the price! It's quite messy to apply and all that. I mean, compared to a regular chapstick or your typical lip gloss, you have to have something for you to apply it hygienically to your lips. I mean, it's not always a good idea to scoop your product and apply it to your lips. Especially LIPS! So yeah! And who has time for lip brushes when on the go? That's all. :)

Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care. Review.

Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care. Review.
I can't really stand the previous lip balm that I used so I got another one. And this time it's from Maybelline. It's actually the second Maybelline lip product that I've tried and so far, so good.  I don't know. I tried to look for couple of products there but yeah I don't know.

I love that it has SPF and stuff. Well, you know what that does, aye? Anyways. I picked the darkest one so to make up for that almost colorless tinge that my previous lip balm gives. And it's really non sticky.

Basically, I have nothing against it. But I don't know if I like it that much. Pretty normal I should say. But really not bad after all.

It comes off like that. This tube is actually smaller than the Nivea thus it weighs only 4.5 g compared to 4.8 g of the Nivea. But whatevs. I'm just saying.

The color pay off is not bad :) But not that great either. It doesn't really stay that long so you have to kind of re-apply once in a while and stuff but I don't mind doing that, really.

Nivea Watering Lip. Review.

Nivea Watering Lip. Review.

So, I don't know why but I'd like to review this product for all of you who are wondering? Or just whatever. I got mine from Japan and I actually haven't seen the same product here in the Philippines or I probably haven't noticed or whatnot. Anyhow, let's move on to the review. The product is actually nice. It's doesn't feel like your lips are exactly watery when you wear it. It's rather kind of oily but tolerable. It doesn't feel greasy. It feels kind of light but you'll definitely feel that it's there. I'm not sure whether they have a tinted one in their collection but this particular product is very much colorless as you can see from the picture below. It doesn't have a scent either. It feels very moisturizing and obviously makes your lips softer. I usually use it as a lipstick primer and it makes applying lipstick much easier. I'm not sure whether or not it makes it wears longer (I doubt). It also makes my lips shinier so when I can't be bothered applying lipgloss after my lipstick, using it as a base does pretty much the same thing (makes your lips look watery) I currently don't care about SPF and stuff so it's not a downfall for me.
