My Nara Experience

Image
Oh my. Good lord. The deers. I wish I had known the hand signal for them to go away because I was violated ladies and gentlemen. The thing is when you show them treats, they would attack! I mean, sure they have their horns taken off or something but still, it’s kind of traumatic actually. But! I still enjoyed it. Joke’s on me.  How cute is this? I bought two stacks of the biscuits at two different places. They sell for 150 yen each stack and so yeah.  I actually enjoyed feeding them! Especially those who are just very shy and quiet. Hated when the alphas come because they’re very scary and so entitled! And they come running towards you too! Like, girl, I don’t owe you any snacks!  You know what? I owe myself a snack. So snacks I should get!  I also went to this place where the buddha displays are but I didn’t go in. Maybe I should have though but anyways. I remember having a very little time to comply with all of this so... For all of you who doesn’t know, Nara is ac...

Universal Studios Japan

Image
I mean, can we just appreciate the fact that it’s my first time going to Universal Studios! Like, yas! I have been a fan of Harry Potter as long as I can remember. Actually, I am kind of late in the trend because I’ve only been a fan when I was in second year college. And yes, the year the first Deathly Hollows movie was released. That drew me to it because we all know I didn’t understand much from the movie so I decided to backtrack. Hahaha so anyways. I was hooked since then and man, I know everything now! And I wouldn’t forgive myself if I leave Japan and not experience USJ. And so I went. Actually it’s the main reason I went to the Kansai area. Okay the USJ trip.  In general, it was not as aesthetically pleasing as Disneyland but it was still beautiful. I guess the gloomy weather made it a little bit gloomier so yeah.  The Wizarding World though!!! I liked! And I would definitely go there again just for that! Also to ride the ones that I missed!   I bought one in...

Hello, Kyoto

Image
I’ve been meaning to go to Kyoto ever since I set foot in this country. Well you know, shrines are fantastic but I don’t know why people with no religious connection to it would want to visit the place. PS, I always feel emotional when I go to these kind of places.  I had a micro heart attack when my camera didn't recognize the memory card. Good thing the camera itself can format the memory card. Goodness gracious!  Selfie If I didn't have all my stuff with me, I could have enjoyed going to place a little bit more I think. Also, heels. Killer. Kyoto! First place I went to is this famous place. It was soo tiring! Heels I tell you. Enemies! Also, my old arse cannot do this kind of places anymore. I did not achieve anything at the end of the day. But oh well! Also had a problem with my camera which is so bummer! But at the end of the day, I succeeded. Coz come on. Why the hell wouldn’t I, right?  I went back to the main station and did Kyoto Tower! Not as cool as the other t...

Taking Over Kansai 2019

Image
Yas! OOTD,  Shinkansen is Life So, as an introduction, I actually spent 5 days in the Kansai area and this is how I spent it.  Day 1- Kyoto-Osaka Day 2- Osaka/Kobe Day 3- Osaka (Universal Studios Japan) Day 4- Nara/Kyoto I should have spent 5 days to be honest coz you know. Never enough. Anyways! I hate the idea of it though. The idea of always wanting more. I mean, you know, like, everyone should just YOLO for ef’s sake. I’m pretty sure my other self is kind of outraged right now. I actually planned on taking the night bus because at this point, I am actually already unemployed so I don’t have any deadlines to catch or whatsoever but I still decided to go with the Shinkansen because you know, might as well, right? Night bus is okay too I guess but yeah I think a Shinkansen ride would kind of complete the experience.  Okay so I had this bento, right? It's only my 5th time riding the Shinkansen to Kansai and I don't know. I still don't know whether or not they have microwa...
