Caught on Film!

Caught on Film!

HI FOLKS! So not so long ago, my co-workers and I had a talk about our childhood pictures. Well, it kinda started when one of us showed a picture when she was younger and basically she asked us to bring a physical photo album of our childhood pictures sort of (which we didn't end up doing by the way). I am lucky because my mom made sure to have all these and a whole lot more photos taken when I was younger. So yeah! I'm actually just gonna repost these as I've already shared these with everyone on my old blogspot. Peace!

I have no recollection whatsoever of this so it's nice to have these photos to look at and just know that it happened. It's kinda why I keep a blog as well. I guess I got it from my momma.

My biological dad. I don’t know and I don’t remember anything from it but my mom said I’ve been to Ueno Zoo many times before. My only memory of it was quite recent when I went with my Nepali friends.

How cute am I with those ternos?

One thing I remember from my childhood is this. Me feeding the pigeons popcorns. I loved it.

Retro

Also, can we acknowledge my hair rollers for a while? Yup.

I’ve blogged about this on my previous blog. This is when I got lost (and found).

My bunny! I don’t know where that is now. Also, my mom ended up buying the big bear in the picture as well. My goodness I remember crying over it at one point and now it’s locked up in some cabinet who knows where in my room. Walang forever.

Sakuragicho with my aunt and uncle
More pigeon feeding
I was kind of cute as a child

This is I remember so well. This was in Nagano where we usually spend the Golden Week. I mean, not at thid particular place but just Nagano in general.

That’s all folks! I want to keep pictures like this for my future child as well. Or my pet. I mean, it’s just nice to look at. Ciao!

What I ate in Japan 2020

What I ate in Japan 2020

I had this at Volk’s at the first day we got to Japan. I think triple cheese burger is the name for this. It was so delicious by the way.

Fresh salad! I missed this because you can’t get a salad this fresh in the Philippines. Japan is just home for fresh vegetables.

Not good! I mean, it’s kinda good but it has bones in it which get stuck in between my teeth and my brackets so yeah not that good!

Disneysea’s smoked turkey! Always a win.

Yas! I enjoyed this. It’s not as hot as I thought it would be because it’s so perfectly hot and spicy. I finished. Ordered this from Hidagaya. Or Hidakaya?

Melon Soda! I’ve had melon soda enough for me not to miss it for a year. Melon soda is such a blessing.

This one! I missed this. I will never get tired of this. Yummy! Chicken Filled tenders with cheese! All of this and the one below is from Saizeriya.

This one!! Also soo yummy!

Cakes! I wish I was able to taste Strawberry Shortcake once again but yeah Japanese cakes are just delicious!

Curry rice and Chicken Namba. The best bento I’ve had in a while. This one was from 7/11.

Giant spicy chicken fillet in Asakusa. It was served hot!

The picture above are the plates we had at a Chinese buffet in Chinatown. It was awesome!

Delicious! Revenge for the boney fish tempura we had. This one is a proper ebi tendon.

Warm and delicious niku udon we had at a mini stall inside a supermarket in Sanwa. In Harataima.

The carnivore in me! This was in Hungry Tiger. This is just so delicious! We had the double steak something which has the famous burger steak and sirloin I think. Delicious. Delicious!

Mentaiko cheese takoyaki from Gindaco. This is just so delicious!

The Rest of Japan

The Rest of Japan

Hola!

The main purpose of us going to Japan is to actually put in order some of the stuff my father used to own and is now being distributed and stuff. Also, to put my father to rest. Here’s us the day we put my dad to rest. It was an emotional time.

We went to Ebina after and ate at our favorite steak restaurant. Hungry Tiger. I remember the last time we ate there and it was still with dad. I will always remember this place because this is like our go to steak restaurant ever since I was a child. I may have over ate this visit but hey.

Can I just share that this is probably the best bento I’ve had this trip. I didn’t each much bento per se but yeah this is the best. It’s curry rice and namba chicken from 7/11.

We went to Daiso to finalize our pasalubongs for the whole barangay and my mom was like, let’s eat at a good ramen place.

We ended up here. My mom hated the restaurant but I used to eat here a lot with my co workers and I don’t hate it. The tantanmen was a-okay! But I admit that there are other better places we could have wrapped up our Japan trip. Oh well.

Few days later, we returned to replace the fresh flowers with artificial ones because my mom and I wouldn’t be back so soon. The fresh flowers were still fresh but you know, no one will really replace it once we’re out of Japan. So yeah there’s that.

Disney Sea | Before Lockdown

Disney Sea | Before Lockdown
So...as you know, when I go to trips, I can’t not visit Theme Parks! This should have been my full time job! PS: Not even my part time job but maybe someday!

iPhone X

When we bought ticket, we were already discouraged by the lady at the counter because she said that the park was crowded. Oh well. My mom said we should have left the house at like 5am or something. We left around 7 I guess? And arrived around 10.  We were only able to avail 3 fast pass attractions I guess and we weren't able to use 1 because we were 5 minutes late for it. I love Japan.

Me and my girl Shella

Can we just take a moment and appreciate mom's red outfit? Just sayin'

Tower of Terror

My sister Shella went with us because my mom can’t really ride rides so she was a little bit worried I won’t enjoy as much. But! I’m so glad my mom came because it’s her first time, right? My philosophy in life is you have to do everything at least once. Obviously not everything but you know what I mean.

I think this is just the second time Shella and mama met and it's an easy day to be honest. No awkward moments, no bad vibes whatever so it was awesome. I mean, it's not like we're at the same age, I know. But still! If you don't click, you don't. You just don't. AND WE CLICK!

I'm no way a photographer, right? But with a DSLR camera, photos turn out to be a lot nicer, don't you agree?

DISNEY SEA is just nice

WHERE DREAMS DO COME TRUE INDEED

My mom ate turkey. She didn't eat last time because she said she didn't like it or something but when she ate this, she finished eating in like less than 5 minutes. Amazing. It was a lovely experience hanging out with my mother and also to have spent my day with my long time sis.

We were able to ride quite a lot in my opinion. Indiana Jones, Railways, 20,000 Leagues, Ship thing, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Tower of Terror. We were also able to watch the show. Nice! Also watched the night parade. That’s like ticking three things we missed last time.

My mom didn't ride as much and she didn't really enjoy the night parade as much too lol but yeah I think she was able to have a full grasp of the park and yeah that's the purpose of the trip for her I guess. I had fun though! I mean, I can't wait to be back here with the OG DISNEY babies and just have a different perspective than the last few times. No regrets! I would have loved for mom to ride the Venetian Gondola though and for Shella to ride the Toy Story ride but maybe that's for next time! Yay! Or you know, Fuji Q is always nice. WHO knows maybe there will be 4 of us there next time! Or 5. Hi mom!

Okay so Japan didn’t undergo lockdown of some sort but these mindful companies did close for the sake of many. Hello, Philippines. Anyaresayo? Anyways. That’s what happened. I’m sooo sooo glad I was able to go to DisneySea again! It’s been a wild while! Hope you enjoyed!
