Long Day!

February 09, 2013 1
Long Day!
And I guess it's gonna be like this for a while. No regrets though. I mean, it's not gonna be for long so I have to sacrifice a little bit.

So we did our second trial of thesis at the University of the Philippines Manila for about two hours and then we decided to go to Robinson's Place Manila to kind of kill time. I was actually from night duty and our call time was at 11 so I barely had sleep but still! I was kind of hyper and all that. I also asked my cousin to go with me since we're understaffed so I really appreciated the fact that she came to help.

We saw a tea shop that is relatively new to us. We were actually supposed to go to Serenitea but I asked them to try this so we would have an idea of what's going on or whatsoever.
My friend and I ordered this thing on the poster because my friend asked what's the most delicious tea and the guy there asked us to try their best seller and just because we don't really know, we were sold. But my cousin ordered the Chocolate something Milk Tea. Which is surprisingly good. Ours was okay but not really that promising. Oh well. But it's still good. Large tea in this store usually costs 100 pesos so, not bad. Sakto lang.

And then we decided to eat at Hainanese's Delight which I was so curious about because I would always pass by their place and stuff so yeah.

Took this picture because the heart cut outs are so adorbs. I like it.

We of course ordered their best seller because you know, that's what people do in a situation like this. The chicken was good but the rice is better. They actually refill rice for free! How awesome is that? Gluttony!! The chicken meal costs 130 pesos and the iced tea costs 40 pesos which I thought is a little bit pricey for an iced tea. But oh well. So that happened. We actually had more than 4 cups each because the thing is they're using that small ice cream scooper as an alternative so we asked for two servings na agad agad.

Then we saw this and I thought I'm gonna share this with you. I am partly Chinese but I don't really believe this kind of stuff because you know, how can we all have the same luck? That's just kind of bizarre. But like what I've said before, it's good to be guided and all that so that it'd be easier for us to track the right path! And also, since the predictions are kind of relevant and possible, I actually think that this is kind of legit and all that. But not really. You know, I wouldn't waste my time believing this is if I happened to have a bad year coming or whatever. I'd be like, Chinese horoscope your face! No offense. Really though. At the end of the day, we believe the things we want to believe. And I approve of my Chinese Sign this Lunar New Year. I'm sorry I didn't take photo of the rest because you know, you know.

I have to better my life. Yup.

That's all! :) Happy Chinese or Lunar or whatever New Year to those who are celebrating it. Yehey! :)

Food Trip. Kazam's.

November 30, 2012 0
Food Trip. Kazam's.
So right after my graduation picture schedule, as much as I would like to reduce my food intake, I just can't. I actually scheduled a food meeting with my cousin.

Actually, I've heard this restaurant so many times but I don't know why I only had the chance to eat here recently. Like, my classmates would always set this as a meeting place and like hang-out place but I don't know. Like, I didn't even know how to get up in the restaurant.

If you haven't seen the place yet, it's actually in Dapitan, above Simple Line and Cerialicious I believe. Like, you have to look up to see this place or else you're dead. Not literally of course.

Actually got really excited when I saw this wall paper. Not very big but I don't know. I wish they had a bigger Eiffel Tower though. I mean, it's not fair for the Eiffel Tower. So then we concluded that maybe the owner is from Sydney. Yup! May conclusion agad agad.

Buddy picture.

CHINA? Red Iced Tea that they serve with any meals.

JAPAN. Steamed Gyoza that doesn't taste like it. But quite alright.

INDIA. My curry pasta with seafood. Now this one is love. I hope they had a parmessan cheese bottle at the table though so the customers would have the option to add a little more.

Loved this. Like, the curry sauce is so rich that you won't even. LOL. I love the generous amount of seafood in it too. I wish they served more pasta though.

ITALIA. The chicken is actually good. The pizza is so-so. The spaghetti is kind of legit. Or at least it's not ketchup. We had fun eating. The place is nice. Very nice if you want some time alone. Because the place is quite quiet and probably underrated so not much people are coming in. That's all! :)

We Sing Again.

November 29, 2012 0
We Sing Again.
Can't really stop us from singing so don't even try. LOL. Just kidding. A week after our first singing session, we went back for more. Because you know, people have to sing sometimes.

And since we didn't have dinner prior to the event. We ate there as well.

Nothing extraordinary actually. But good when you're hungry. Yeah? You know how everything tastes good when you're hungry? Exactly.

Whilst eating. My sisters are like the most adorable sisters ever. LOL. Just kidding.
And then after that whole lot of singing and eating and singing again, we went to McDonald's to eat some ice cream.

Can I just say though that the time we went there, there are these very noisy women who really pissed me off. Like, I usually don't mind people talking because you know, they're supposed to talk but these group didn't fail to piss me so whatever. They're like constantly shouting and laughing and stuff. Like, they look like some office girls who are probably in their late 30's and they probably haven't seen each other for a while but that doesn't mean they have to shout and all that. It's probably hard to imagine it at this point but whatever. I'm glad you didn't have to hear them. Everything went really well except that. :)

Manila Bay visit.

August 20, 2012 0
Manila Bay visit.
So my mom decided to go  to Manila Bay. We were supposed to go there like, a week before we went but because of the horrible weather and stuff, we just went to eat at Robinson's.

Here's a shot the I took with my iPhone. And yup! Instagram!

Where did we eat you ask?

It's called The Chicken Rice Shop. And of course! They serve chicken and stuff. My verdict? Not so good actually. But it's good to try stuff that are unfamiliar. Like, it's okay to make a mistake. Just make sure that you wouldn't commit the same mistake next time. LOL. Well, it's not that bad actually. Quite fair. But anyways.

It's been a while since we all went out. And yes! It's because of internship and stuff. Well, I don't actually have a regular schedule so that's why my mom always want to make time for this kind of get together and stuff. DRAMA MUCH? LOL.

I actually don't know why my mom knew about this restaurant but yeah whatever. She's genius like that, eh? Anyways when she told me that she want to eat at some chicken restaurant near the bay, I actually thought that she want to eat at BonChon but when I asked her so, she said NO. And then I was alright.

When we arrived, she pointed at this chicken restaurant. Oh wells. So yeah. If you want to give this restaurant a try, you just have to locate Yellow Cab and it's somehow near that place. It's actually unlikely for you to miss this because it's quite big of a
place and stuff. Bigger than Yellow Cab.
Yup.

Unnecessary photo of myself. LOL.
Here's what I got. Roasted chicken I believe? Yup. That's it.

The chicken comes with soup and rice and that little somethings there. I ordered Soy Milk for a drink. Nothing special about the drink as well. But the soup was good. We also had Tofu Steak which was also good! :)

My mom and I also finished this big bowl of coconut milk desert with some other stuff in it. I don't know. But it was good! :)) Mom ordered a big bowl for all of us but then my sisters don't like how it tastes to yeah, mom and I didn't mind finishing it. LOL.

That's all! :)

Day off! :)

July 19, 2012 0
Day off! :)
Fun Monday! :) Went with mom to the mall to have her hair done. Oops! Went with my cousin as well. I bought some other stuff but I bought the stuff under on my own money so yeah, only took the photo of that stuff.

My mom  actually took my eyebrow razor so I got one again and then I run out of lip balm so I got this Nivea Soft Rose. I'm gonna do a review of it later on. I'm just trying it some more to see if my first impression will last and stuff. BTW, I don't like the razor much. Gave me small cuts.

Also! Had late lunch with my cousin.

It ruined my diet. Like, for reals. I think I had two cups of rice that time. LOLs. But anyways. It happens. And it's not like I do eat that much every single meal. I know. Hashtag EXCUSES. LOL.

This is how I looked like that day. My dark circles are really getting worse. MUST SLEEP PROPERLY.

My cousin trying to give me my share of that thingy.

We also had Coco Fresco like a little while before we went home. I had this before and I must say it's pretty good. The thing about it is that I can't seem to like the whole serving of it. For some reason, I feel like a little goes a long way. But whatever. It's actually shake and my cousin actually told me that she just liked it like when she was halfway done the bottle. I'm like the reverse.

Must take pictures, huh?

And lastly...but BLURRY. Excuse me.

:)
