Cosme Decorte Angelic Fantasy

October 28, 2013 0
Cosme Decorte Angelic Fantasy

I have told you guys before that I am not a big fan of eye shadows. Because you know, I don't have a place to put the shadows on. But never the less, there are occassions when I feel like extra glamorous and would bother putting them on. I am extremely traumatized by bold colors so when I saw this palate, it was just perf!

I like how they put labels on this things. Although I'm not really gonna follow this. I think I would just "wash my eyelid" with a certain color and then go. One thing I noticed is that it's so so sparkly. Like, this thing just goes everywherez. Anyways.

I don't know what I feel about the packaging. It's so simple but also it looks kind of classy. I don't know what I feel about it really. My other side is telling me it looks so complicated and cheap. Anyways.

It came in with little applicators which I still don't know how to use and provided I don't have all the tools and stuff to apply these colors on, I would just use my clean fingers and that might be a little more comvenient to do.

The swatch I did. Beautoful colors. So wearable. I like!! I might buy a primer or something so the glitters wouldn't actually fall anywhere. Anyways that's all I have for you. Have a good day!! :)

Thoughts on Pond's BB Cream

Thoughts on Pond's BB Cream

I wasn't actually going to buy Pond's because of a certain reaction it does to my skin but then again I was I think a little bit attracted to the packaging. Not the nicest packaging but somehow head-turning. And that's applicable only if you like pink.

Having finished my other BB product, I'm not expecting much from this and what it promises. Right now I'm just holding on to the 'fact' that it has SPF. Which is always a good thing.

It promises to whiten the skin and stuff and luckily I'm already happy with my color but yeah. Hopefully it brightens up my dark spots because they're just so in love with me that they don't want to go away. Annoying much.

The formula is thick and it's fairly easy to apply and also easy to blend. I also like its scent. Like, it smells like your typical Pond's product but at this point, I'm just happy that it's not offensive like the BB Stick from Maybelline.

The coverage is so light though. I literally need two squeezes to see a difference on the coverage. As for the application on my face, I can see that it somehow evens out my skin tone which is like the thing I need most due to some acne discoloration and stuff but it does't really give a flawless finish or something but it's definitely better than having nothing on at all. Maybe with 3 to 4 layers, you'll be able to achieve a flawless canvass but I don't think I'd recommend that. Go with a foundation instead if your desire is to like cover up. If you're a fan of the saying "go big or go home" this product might not be for you.

Maybelline BB Stick First Impressions

July 30, 2013 0
Maybelline BB Stick First Impressions

Hi guys! I feel like it's been quite a while since I bought something for my face so awhile ago, I did. Okay so what happened was I think it was last Monday, I saw this but they didn't have it in my shade. Okay basically, they only have two shades there so that's not very good because I feel like I'm in the middle but since they only have somehow the light and the dark, I chose the lighter shade. Lightest shade if you may. Ha! Better safe than sorreh. Actually, I have a problem with this color matching thing because I have a weird skin and for some reason, I can't find my match. Uuuyy kunwari sa skin lang. Hahaha

I believe the middle shade is called Natural and the darkest I think is called Radiance. The Natural sounds so appealing, yeah? Anyhows. Oh by the way the reason I haven't bought new face product until now is because my skin is like bishing so I'm really trying my best to give it a break but since this thing promises a lot of things, I think it might do it good somehow. Read what it says at the back below.
Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skincare, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and mineral clay that helps control shine all day.

As you can see, that's like the color difference but then again don't be ridiculous! I didn't actually blend it or anything. I wonder why I didn't though. Let's not talk about that.

THE APPLICATION
It's kind of funny how there is an instruction at the back. I probably applied quite more than what I should but then again that's life.

I'M TERRIBLE AT  BLENDING LOL
As far as the application goes, it's quite easy to apply but since it's not like in liquid form, be cautious because it can dry up a little and it would be harder to blend. Verdict? Mmm...I don't know how I feel about it yet but then I think it does its job. Probably not for this shade but I think it can be a full coverage BB product. As you can see from the after photo, with two layer on, the pimple scars are still quite obvious and since I got the lightest shade, I don't think I could go out with another layer of that because I would probably look like a White Lady of some sort and we don't want that to happen! Also, it's gonna consume a lot of product so what I would do is that I would probably just conceal them or something. Oh I hope that the mineral clay works because you know, I'm an oily mess! Anyway, that's my first impression. I hope it somehow helped you or nah I don't think so. LOL. Have a good day, y'all!

Alice by Temperley. Resort 2013 review.

Alice by Temperley. Resort 2013 review.
I personally think that Alice by Temperley's collection is gorgeous! I just think that the other collections are kind of off for the season. I will discuss that in my other post though. I don't know how they categorize stuff but I'm sure Alice by Temperley's designs are not the most RESORT-IEST collection that there is. Thinking about resort, I would probably assume that there should be BIKINIS and stuff but I don't know how that works. Na-ah.

Let me just start with my favourite collection! I really think that this dress is gorgeous! I don't personally play much with colors. I like simple colored dress. Beige, white, brown, pink, and black will do. Although a little bit of combination is good sometimes. I don't understand the shoes though. But anyways I absolutely adore the color combination of the dress and the little detail the skirt gives. And I also love love love the belt! Awesome! I noticed though that the upper part of the dress appears kind of leathery so I'm not so sure if that'll be very comfortable to wear. And  since I also presumed that RESORT is kind of for SUMMER WEAR and stuff. But anyways.

When I first saw the picture above, I totally kind of fell in love with it. Not literally though. But thinking about it, if ever I'd go out with this, my mom will go totally nuts about it. Like, serious stuff. But I love the LACEY-NESS of it. Just because I just watched Michelle Phan's latest WANDERLUST episode and it's about the Italian women having to spend 4 months or so creating lace and stuff. Awesomeness! :) But I actually doubt that the lace they used here is handmade. I STILL DON'T GET THE SHOES BY THE WAY.

For me, this one right here is so classy-I-could-die. Not the typical classy-classy look of course. It's simple but classy. Don't get me wrong though, I know that these designers' made it to this some sort of collection because they're somehow classy but there are just some designs which I can't understand at all. So yeah, for me, classy doesn't have to be really expensive and stuff but yeah, just saying.

This lacey-ness goodness right here. I would seriously totally wear this. Love the design and everything. This dress will totally look good on a polka dot heels or flats or whatever it is that's with polka dots in it. Ok maybe not just whatever. Let's stick with flats and heels. And probably just black and white.

I like! :) But I just wish they'd be a little more generous on the buttons next time. :/ All in all, I really like the collection. But you know, there's always an exception. In this case, maybe 3 which I can't really understand the coherence between the designs. Let's say for example:

I have come by to it that fashion is really something relative and subjective. You might not agree with me not liking the design above, but it's okay. I respect your opinion on that. My mom would probably like that too. And I absolutely have NO right to question my mom's choice. UNLESS ASKED FOR AN OPINION of course. LOL.
