Yomiuri Land

June 15, 2017 1
Yomiuri Land

Yomiuri Land. Actually, this is not part of the plan. It just happened. This is also a park that closes at a very weird time. 6:15pm, like, are you kidding me?

Mascots. It was such a hot day when we went but glad we were able to do most of our thing so that's always great, yeah? We probably missed 3 rides but whatever.

Yas. It was really hot that day but you know, nothing can stop us when it comes to this kind of place so...it didn't really matter much.

The view is beautiful. I mean, not Disney grade beautiful but it's definitely something. If I were to compare it to anything, it looks like a carnival with all their banderitas and stuff. I may have told everyone about how I can't accept theme parks that doesn't have carousels but I'm also thinking theme parks should have ferris wheels! So kayo nalang mag adjust for me. Hahaha

summer heat, man

They have humidifier almost everywhere so we won't die. It's a thing.

Probably Mari's favorite ride but man, Mika and I couldn't hate this more. I feel like I'm gonna die in this 360° loop thing. There's one like this in Fuji Q too. We hated that one as well. I'm not scared of the ride itself though. More like the locks or something. The thing about this is I'm so heavy that I feel like my weight's gonna break the lock. Well that's probably the point of the ride. Or so I think.

Standing roller coaster. This one's interesting as well. It has like a loop too but yeah, not too scary. After Fuji Q, it's gonna be hard to scare the hell out of me.

They do have 2 drop thingy. The yellow one shoots up like a rocket and drops fast but tolerable. The red one goes up slowly but drops like hell. These two rides are equally scary so I do recommend you try both.

festive

sea lion theatre

One thing I find odd is that they have a sea lion show. It's not much and for me they messed up a lot of times but hey, change is good I guess.

My favorite ride is probably Bandit. A roller coaster ride that goes thru the forest with perfectly timed drops to keep your heart pounding. It's kinda nice.

posting because I kinda look nice here

I don't usually eat churros but when I do, it's probably in a team park! It was a delicious churros. I remember I got milk and man it was so milky. But also salty. Now I'm confused. You already know!

This place is relatively near so I'm looking forward to going here again. Probably when the Christmas lights are up again. I heard it's beautiful during the season.

We look so exhausted. Maybe because we were trying to squeeze in so many things and we got so little time. Meh. But I also take the blame kind of because we went a little later than planned but yeah, still not happy about their closing time.

Ciao!

Cosmo World 2.0

Cosmo World 2.0

The ulitimate goal is to actually ride all the rides in here and I'm proud to say that we're about 85 percent done. Or so I think hahaha. Fraud stats. Basically, from last time, we've done the famous clock and 2 coasters. And this time, the splash thing, a haunted rail, and a spinning galaxy thing.

The haunted rail train ride was surprisingly short and from what I remember, I probably screamed thrice so yeah there's that but also, maybe it's just me. Blame it to coffee.

I'll never get tired of this city ever! Like, there's too much beauty in this place.

I kind of miss my red hurr. I wish it was easier to maintain.

It was kinda cold that night too. Just an FYI.

With the man

I look lost. Literally. For some reason, my hair kind of matches my pants in this one yet again.

With the infamous heart thing.

  Cute family having dinner

Delicious!

I liked this. I actually like melon pan by itself and who doesn't like ice cream, right? So this combo is just awesome! I had tiramisu and Bry got chocolate.

It was my first time to eat avocado not as fruit (or is it a veggie?) so I was kind of hesitant/confused because it is served with cheese but then you know, it all worked out.

Bryan's Meal (such a carnivore)

Tokyo Disney Sea 2015

Tokyo Disney Sea 2015

First time at Disney Sea! I haven't been to Universal either but I'm assuming that the Earth something something looks quite similar to this. Or at least we thought. Haha

For some reason, when I go to parks and stuff, it's always Halloween. I wonder.

Disney Sea gives me a European village vibe for some reason. Haven't been to Europe either so I don't know why I'm saying that. Haha

Went with Bry to celebrate his Birthday. :)

When I was a child, I always wondered what Disney Sea is like but I was always too small for Disney Sea so that gave me the notion that Disney Sea is for adults. Also, when I was kind of a grown-up, my little sisters were too little for it anyways so we didn't really have a chance to go together.

For most part, it is. But that doesn't mean that children wouldn't enjoy their visit or something. There are still rides and places where we felt like we're too old to go into. But that's like only 1 ride so whatever haha.

A little bit of advice though, if you have a child maybe like below 6, stick to Disneyland. I am always irritated by parents who carry their infants with them.  I mean, there's no point. Should have left them somewhere warm. Kawawa lang yung bata. Or so I think.

Me assessing Cruella

Cruella De Vil was just so cruel that day (or always) shooing people away haha.

Break time!! Disney wouldn't be complete without Turkey Legs of course. We also had Gyoza.

Also, I have just known this thru someone as well but when I asked that friend the difference between Disney Land and Sea, he immediately asked me "do you know they sell beer at Disney Sea?" And so I was like, okay should try that. And so we did.

Second favorite ride.

My favorite part! I don't know. This is just random.

We waited in line for like 140 minutes. Somebody give us an award for this.

My favorite ride!!

Disney Sea at night is just as magical as Disney Land. I mean, I don't know. I think I would be judging too quickly if I were to choose now but yeah, would make the judgment as soon as I get to explore more of both parks.

I also would like to point out that even though there's no Cinderella's Castle, this Little Mermaid's lagoon or whatever somehow makes up for it. But I must admit that there's something really magical with the classic Castle but you know, whatevs.

Favorite view

Heading home.

Toyville

I would love to go back soon! :) I mean, to finally choose/make up my mind which I like better or something. But I somehow find that impossible because you know, I have been to Disneyland as many times as I could remember and I still think I haven't seen most of it. That's why I think it's beautiful. Because you can never fully see it. Like, there's always something to look forward to. So yeah they're both beautiful as it is so I guess it's really just a matter of preference.
