Star City Visit.

October 31, 2012 0
Star City Visit.
So it was my sister's birthday the other day and since she really has that something in her that doesn't allow us to kind of go further out the city, we stayed. Like, last year, we were supposed to go Baguio to celebrate her birthday and what happened was our car broke so my mom backed out and this time we were actually supposed to go to Laguna for some hot spring goodness but then again my youngest sister and I have some stuff to accomplish so we can't. Life.

So basically, my sisters and I went. Like, as always. Youngest sister not amused. LOL. Remember my cousin's pink lipstick? Well this is the red version of it.

Cousin being evil and put that demon thingy on my sister's head. Or like, peace sign? IDK.

Sisters! Love love love. As you may have noticed from the background, the park is themed Halloween so the reception kind of looked nice.

The reception might actually appear crowded but not really. Like, we hardly queued. and by that I mean, not more than 10 minutes or so of waiting for our turn to ride. Except probably STAR FLYER. But not by much.

I'm not really a fan of Peter Pan so I basically don't know who this guy is. But must take pictures. You know. Okay serious stuff now. The first stuff we actually rode was this ride right here.

I swear it is up to no good.

The thing is we usually go for the milder rides first before the main attractions so after this ride, we were all dizzy as eff. Like, seriously. I'm not sure whether it was just us or whatever but this stuff I can only ride probably once a year. Like, I can't even explain.

The ride basically goes round and round up above and stuff.

It is a relatively new ride and so people are probably just trying this one out. But I promise you! It's UP TO NO GOOD.

It's kind of scary  but it really makes you so so dizzy afterwards. We kind of regretted riding it first because we didn't have enough energy throughout our stay. But then whatever.

We noticed how people are not coming back to ride this ride again because at the end of the day, not a big deal anymore. I guess. I actually honestly think that this ride is really meant to make people dizzy. No more purpose other than that.

This is the second thing we rode. Which is our bad luck number 2. Since we were dizzy from the colorful thingy that we rode first, we can't even. Plus! They had to stop the ride at the middle so to unload a dizzy passenger. And so the ride operators decided to restart the time and so we were there for like FOREVER.

We entered all the horror houses almost twice. Oh look! Youngest sister not amused once more. Waz wrong though? And then we had dinner!

Yup! Chicken everyday. LOL.

And we had some ice cream too.

I'm actually impressed on how there are details added to the rides. Like they added Madagascar on this roller coaster and Pirates on the anchor ride. There are then two pirate rides. Sort of.

Youngest sister not amused hahaha. And this is us in front of the Pirates ride.

I don't know what happened to this picture but anyways. Me likey.  That's all! :)

Random Japan Pictures Part 4. A Look Back.

Random Japan Pictures Part 4. A Look Back.

I know I brought it up before but I'm getting more and more convinced that I own mostly PAJAMAS in Japan. With my uncle, his wifey, and mum at Sakuragicho.

I don't know where this was but IT'S FANCY! And I like it. PJs again? Or not?

I don't know where we were in this one neither. But it looks like it's some sort of a historical place and stuff. Might be a temple or whatever. That's all!

Star City, Philippines. A Look Back.

Star City, Philippines. A Look Back.
We usually go here during Christmas or just about any HOLIDAYS that we feel like going. We had quite a history with this place. I noticed how it changed over time and it's just so nice. This place is in the center of Manila. Anyone in Manila would know where this is located. Or at least would have an idea.

Can I just share this post with you? Because I'm pretty proud of myself when I was reviewing pictures when I got home. LOL. Pretty good right? Can I just also share that I haven't had a chance to ride this. I don't know but because of all the attractions inside the park, it seems unconventional to ride this. Also, queue line is so long. Or not really. I don't know. Maybe they should make this ride a little higher to attract me. It's really quite low. Pretty normal. Ugh. Moving on...

Recently, they kind of changed the LION KING ride with this YE OLE PIRATE SHIP. LOL totally made that up but yeah, basically the same concept. Only they kind of narrate the story Lion King on the previous ride so as much as I like PIRATES and all that CARRIBEANY stuff, I still prefer the Lion King ride. Too bad. Should have consulted me first. Haha joke.

The ride itself is a circular thingy that can lift 4 persons at most. I don't know if I'm just so obsessed with pirate stuff but definitely good stuff inside. Kind of reminds me of the Pirates ride in Disneyland so yeah. But that's another comparison. It's just that...I'm just saying.

My sisters and I. That pool thingy behind us is still the same though. They probably changed something about it but maybe it's just so irrelevant that I haven't noticed. Oh wells. Oh can I just share that it was my sister's birthday when I last went here.

The park itself is kind of divided into two. Not that there's an official division. There's like an outdoor park and an indoor park. Not that it's more fun outdoor but yeah, the rides there are just more daring. But the rides indoors', not bad. The thing is it's actually air conditioned inside. Star City isn't really a huge park so it's kind of always crowded so I say small spaces for walk like that of the picture above is very much appreciated.

I believe this one above is the biggest ride there. The ride is quite good! I like it. But not my favourite. This thing is what they so call, an inverted roller coaster and all that. The concept is really nice. It's just that the ride is so short that it doesn't make up for the very long line and the very long time that you have to wait to ride this thing. Not very worth it. But yeah. Whatever.

My favourite ride is actually this thingy. Ugh. Love!

Mika and I queuing for SURF DANCE. Oh and Mari too!

Some more rides...Oops! When riding this thing above, ready a comb. You know what to do after taking off. LOL.

So... let's go inside, shall we? LOLJK. Not much inside.

This is from the Peter Pan thingy.

And just because they have this, ME LIKEY the attraction! LOL. They also have the Eiffel Tower, The Coliseum, and all that stuff. Nice, aye? Well...I don't know much about Peter Pan to be honest with you. LOL. So yeah. :) That must be all about this.

Manyo Club. A look back.

June 24, 2012 0
Manyo Club. A look back.

I was too young when I visited this place. I think it was around May. The place is so POSH. It's like a hotel or some sort of. Manyo club is located in Minato Mirai which have lots of facilities to offer. Look at my sisters! :) Aren't they the cutest? And look at us wearing onsen robes? LOL. And Look at my youngest sister, she still cannot follow instructions during that time so if you would compare her robes to ours, it's wet. I remember she sat on the path where people should walk so her stuff is kind of wet. WHAT A KID! INDEED.

Can I just go back and savor the moments? AGAIN? The thing about me is when we traveled and all that before, I always tend to forget that I should enjoy and spend the day like it's the last time. I should change that attitude of mine and live my life everyday as if it's my last.

It's very near COSMO WORLD. OMG! I want to go to Cosmo World so bad! I remember asking dad to kind of drop us off the park but it just didn't happen. My sisters went there on their last trip I believe. For some reason, I really am a sucker for amusement parks! From my position, you can actually see stuff that's happening on the park and if you don't plan on going to COSMO after MANYO. DO NOT ATTEMPT! You will just die of envy.

I can't forget the screams and all that machine-sounding noise that can be heard from our position.

Here's me with mom. :) The thing we were sitting on is actually a "walk-onsen" I don't really know what it's called. I totally made that up, you know. It's a water filled path and there are like different sizes of stones in it.

We had a private/family bath which is uber awesome! I mean, I enjoy public bath but there's nothing wrong with keeping everything private. My sisters!!! They kind of treated the tub as pool, believe me. They're just pretty behave on the picture.

I love this shot! You know what? Before, I kind of stood there in front of the glass window and kind of looked at the view. From the window, you can see little boats and ships and stuff. I kind of stayed out of the water long enough and when I looked up, I saw a sign that goes something like "do not stand in front of the window naked" And something like 'they can see you' and stuff.

They do have a game center somewhere, a massage center, restaurant, and other stuff as well. My mom actually went to the public bath just to look around. I should have done that too! REGRETS! As from what I can still remember, the food was awesome! And I heard, expensive.

I want to come back!

Enchanted Kingdom, Philippines. A look back.

Enchanted Kingdom, Philippines. A look back.
January 21 2010

Really love the playful vibes of the background and all that's going on behind the scene.

With my sisters!
It was the four of us who really rode all that rides and our parents just waited and ate here and there or whatevs. The lines were really crazy. Crazy as in 30 – 60 minutes of waiting time from a point not even close from where we were standing. From then I realized that going there on a weekday is not always the best option because students from here and there are having their trips. Too much of my complaining. I had a good time and I can say that I became a little more patient after that.

I loved this ride. OMGs. You probably know how this works. What I don't like about this though is that you have to pay additional 50 php per ride. WTF, man? It's something I want to ride over and over again but definitely not something I'd like to pay over and over again.

Posting this just because something significant happened here. Blame those cute Korean guys hahaha. Ok stop. OMGs look at my sister in white. Probably looking at the Koreans. Haha. And look at my sister in pink and her "WTF is happening here? face"

Us trying to queue for Space Shuttle. The line my golly was so crazy!

I love almost the stuff there pretty much. Like, awesome for photos and all that.

We actually stayed until the closing of the park. We kind of ate after we enjoyed the park. :)

Good vibes you guys.
