SHIKIMIKIE

This is the entrance of the vacation house. The place is called Susukinohara Ichinoyu in Hakone.  Right by the reception area, you can find this place where you can take disposable items like hairbrush, toothbrush, and the like. You can also get your own Yukata to use.  The entrance The place is near a bus stop and is near a convenience store so you don't have to worry if you want late night snacking.  There is a private onsen with spectacular view.  The futon on the tatami is surprisingly comfortable. It is also heated so don't you worry. I guess it will also be cooled down during the summer.  Complimentary teas and tangerines from a local farmer. I loved the scallop the most. We included dinner and breakfast in our booking and it was so worth it. You can choose time to come to the hall.  Pictures above are that of dinner. Those below is breakfast.   Spring in Japan is always sought after because of the obvious Cherry Blossoms. It's always about the Sakura that we forget that there are other beautiful flowers in bloom too. Here I had the honour to capture some of the flowers often overlooked by many. Like me, I hope you find the beauty of being in the background and overlooked.
