Hell of a Day.

January 31, 2013 0
Hell of a Day.
It's Comprehensive Exams Day 1 and you know all know what it means. HELL MONTH NA! And it's really toxic because we're all busy on our duty so it's not like we have that much time to study comprehensively and answer 100 questions perfectly. Asar.

So I had thesis class early in the afternoon and had exams at 3-5 pm and I was really thinking of going home already but I thought otherwise. I decided to go to Mall of Asia to have some MACARONS. Because it's been a while since I had some. And I think I effin deserve a break. Okay so I actually thought of riding the MOA EYE but then I was like, meh. I just don't think 150 pesos is worth it for a short ride. Next time.

But we did take pictures with it because it's PRETTY.

It reminds me of Odaiba's Rainbow Bridge a little bit. It changes its colors too. Look.

I like the colors of the rainbow better though. But whatevs.

I was telling my cousin that there's not much to view up there because the bay is kind of dark and stuff so what's the point? But since there's a mini amusement park very near the place, I guess you'll be able to see the lights and stuff. Somehow. I don't know.

Okay so after taking pictures, we then decided to find Tous Le Jours which I just recently discovered is PRONOUNCED as TU-LE-JURU because I was like TU-LE-JU-ing all the time. I would like to apologize to my victims. Hahaha. So when we entered the bakery, we were looking for the macarons and we can't see it so we asked the lady if they have it and she gladly accompanied us to the counter where they are placed.

They're pretty too. This day is just full of colors. Except the tests I had. I don't know why I even mentioned the test but let's all forget that already. So the MACARONS are available in Chocolate, Green Tea, Vanilla, Mango, and Strawberry respectively. I got all the flavors because I really wanted to try them all.

And then as we were walking to our way somewhere, I got confused by this and then I asked my cousin to enlighten me and she said that it's a statue of Manny Pacquiao and all other workers daw. And I was like, okay I should have a picture with that. Pero thinking of it now, Manny Pacquiao isn't a profession or something, yeah? Oh well. Nasa gitna pa ha.

We went straight to Starbucks for some drinks and also a place where we could try out the MACARONS we bought earlier. In Starbucks, I ordered their Signature Hot Chocolate which was recommended by my co-intern and it was really nice. I like it.

My cousin got a Mocha Frappuccino which made her shiver as we go home by the way. Hahaha sorreh na. Ikaw kasi eh. It was a tiring but fun day for us. Imagine, I got home at like 11-ish pm already and I still had to attend my duty at 8 am the next day? TOXIC.

What's on my iPhone tag.

January 25, 2013 0
What's on my iPhone tag.
Inspired by Youtubers Trisha Paytas and beautifymeeh, I'm gonna do this tag as well. This is kind of different though because you know, you actually wouldn't be able to see how an app works or whatever. But anyways, that wouldn't stop me from doing this tag. Haha

Basically, they showed the apps they downloaded and stuff so that's what I'm gonna do as well.

This is how my phone looks like. My iPhone is actually black but my awesome tita sent me some screen protectors and one of them is this. Which I find really awesome because you know, change is good.

I have three pages of apps on my phone and the first page looks something like this. You know, my friends borrow my phone all the time and I feel like we're friends so I'm gonna let you borrow my phone too. Okay let's proceed. Haha

These are just the default apps that came with the phone. Well, most of it. I downloaded my productivity folder which has PDF FILE READER LITE and FILES which I use to transfer school files from somewhere straight to my phone. It's really convenient to actually be able to open a file anywhere. So yeah.

Also, I have an EMOJI for cute emoticons and then CONVERTER+ which I seldom use but kind of helpful to convert currencies, time, systems, and all other stuff. And then my Newsstand is empty because you know, whatever. And there's my first page.

I also would want to discuss a little bit about the four icons that you see below. I actually put them there not because they're the most abused but I just feel like I need them the most so in case of emergency or whatever, I need not go to the page where they're in just to access them. I used to use WHATSAPP a lot before but now, nah. I miss it though. K bye.

My second page is like, my social media apps. SOCIAL MEDIA? Hahaha okay these are connectivity apps that I actually downloaded because of peers. But mostly, my auntie made me download it because she have them too.

Except for BLOGGER that I use for blogging on the go. Obviously. I actually am not a big fan of BLOGGER FOR MOBILE because it kind of lacks function in some ways but generally okay for blogging purposes.

NUFFNANG X which I open occasionally or when I feel like it. Because for some reason, I'm still confused. I don't know how to actually use it. Or I'm just probably used to opening blogs manually if that makes sense.

I have FACEBOOK, TWITTER, PINTEREST, SKYPE, WE HEART IT, AND TUMBLR which I all open regularly and probably the most abused apps in my phone. PROBABLY.

I have LINE which my mom use to remind me to turn off the lights, WI-FI or whatsoever reminder of the day so it's kind of useful too. At least for me. All others are probably irrelevant so never mind them.

The last page looks something like this. I have OPERA MINI, my games which I will talk about a little later, some health stuff, my photo apps which I would also be talking about later, KAKAOTALK which I really really appreciate for some reason. I have CNN to actually read news whenever some interesting news headline pops out. Which is like not so often.

I have some SILVA RELAX and RELAX which I don't know which exactly is which but both makes me sleep. Then I have YOUTUBE which where I usually watch my subscriptions.

And then you all now my EARTHCAM app which I really adore for being able to show me my LA TOUR DE EIFFEL. And then my references which are mostly foreign languages or stuff you know.

And then GLOBEREWARDS which I also rarely use. Not really that important of an app.

These are the games I play. I'm pretty proud of these games LOL. My friends say that my phone is boring because I only have a limited choices but you know, phones shouldn't be toys. SAYS NO ONE EVER. Really though. Haha

I have TEMPLERUN which I don't play anymore and I should probably download TEMPLERUN 2 already because of good reviews and all that.

I have PROGNOSIS which is basically a game where you play the doctor which I really really like.

I have BLITZ which my friends say is very predictable and boring. I play this the most.

LOGOSQUIZ which I don't like that much.

I have BAKERY STORY which I love! :) FLOW which is okay.

FRUIT POP! is like my current addiction. CANDY CRUSH not that great. And I have WORDS FREE, SCRAMBLE FREE, and DRAW FREE which I like playing when I'm feeling a little competitive.

Photography apps that can't be compared side by side because for me they function pretty much the same so there's like no point.

INSTAGRAM I use mainly for stalking beautiful, awesome, famous people which are mostly my friends. Haha just kidding.

And all other stuff for like, collage, and stuff.

KAKAOSTORY is an app for photo sharing which I hope would be more famous than Instagram because it doesn't cut your pictures to awkward squares. If you know what I mean. If not, never mind. This is like a good app if you don't want your picture cut in half or whatever. So it puts filter as is. Which is awesome. The thing is you can only add or follow people from your KAKAOTALK. Sucks. K.

Okay enough of the apps now. Can I just say that I'm proud of my wallpaper? Hahaha that's all.

Oh and before I forget, this is how my lock screen looks like. I actually changed it this year from Paris to Ben Tower. Oh well that's all. Take care.

Tale of a Lost Phone.

January 24, 2013 0
Tale of a Lost Phone.
Yesterday was our symposium day and more so meaning we have to be in the auditorium at 8. So as I saw my friend Kim there, she said she lost her phone. And I was like, what? Where? And then she said that someone took her phone inside her bag and probably the robber saw her put her phone inside her pouch and actually took the whole pouch.

So then my friend wouldn't want to report it na since she already accepted the fact that her phone's lost so she carried on with her LRT trip but when she reached Legarda station daw, she saw a girl who's kind of hysterical because she lost her phone din. So when the security advised her to go to the police desk, my friend approached the girl and said that she also lost her phone. So they went together.

So the story was, the girl in Legarda station kind of had an instinct of who took her phone but the security guard on duty disregarded her and said that she should report it to the police desk in the station. So when the girl actually reported to the station, by now with my friend, she brought back the topic that she had an instinct and she said the security guard actually did not listen, the policemen were kind of pissed so they called the security guard on duty and that happened. By the way, as early as 8 am, there were already 3 reported cases of lost phone. Welcome to the Philippines.

She was like thinking of her contacts, BBM contacts, pictures, and other stuff in her phone. Not even the phone itself which I also experience way back by the way and it really sucks I tell you.

So that happened. Then when my friend and I finished eating our lunch, there were actually rumors that there wouldn't be classes in the afternoon. Not in my class though. So I accompanied her to her classroom but no one is in there so then we went out and saw one of her classmates and asked whether or not they would still have theirs. So she said no more classes. AND THEN! She said that their thesis adviser asked their class whether or not my friend changed her number because someone's texting their adviser with rude stuff with her number daw. And I was like, seriously? They already got the phone so can they just stop already? I mean, what else do you want to have? It's just so annoying. Good thing their adviser actually know better and asked right away. Because you know, my friend wouldn't do that kind of stuff. Oh well. Life. Just take care of your self and your belongings. That's all.

Yakimix. Food Trip!

Yakimix. Food Trip!
It was my sister's birthday last Sunday and thank goodness for my schedule. Like, I was from night duty so whatever but the point is I'M OFF. So we went to Robinson's Place Manila a short while after I came home. That would be around 9:00 am I guess? Yup. So we went kind of early to buy my sister stuff.

This is the first plate that I got. Thought I'd share it with you. :)) The best thing that I liked in this buffet is that they have sea foods! Which I like. Actually, there's like a reminder on the table that says we should have a separate plate for cooked and raw stuff but you know, I really wanted to taste their Lechon Kawali so I got a piece of that. Surprisingly good so I definitely recommend you try it whenever you decide to eat there or something.

Already cooking the stuff I got. I must say that the sea foods are really my fave. I also did enjoy everything else though.

Hello to my "FROM DUTY" face. Haha mess. Can I just say that I am the person in-charge of actually grilling stuff and putting it to people's plates so when we took most of the photos, I was like "yung niluluto ko masusunog na!" Haha wala lang.

The one with the mayonnaise on top was DELISH! Like, it's not entirely raw. Kind of steamed and it was perfection! The rest was okay. I also like the one with TUNA in it. They also have a wide selection of sweets! Like, heaven.

I think the Chocolate Cake was popular because there were only two slices left on the table.

They got cakes, fruits, ice creams, jellos, tarts, fruit salads, sweet nuts, sweet potato chips, crinkles, cupcakes, and more!

Can I just say that these little things are love? I only had the cheesecakes though because I was already full but others actually don't look as appealing as the cheesecakes. I had two Blueberry Cheesecakse and one Cheese Mousse Cake,

Awesome, right?

Can I just say that I've just noticed that there's like a formed heart there? Awesome. And the white cake is actually the Cheese Mousse I was talking about awhile ago.

Us sporting our sweets! :) And mom was quite proud because the one she's holding is the same color as her top. Haha. Yun lang.
